Lauren checked us in and recognized our Diamond status with 2 bottles of water. She also commented on our last stay in February. That was before a cruise, too! We like this location because it's close, but not too close, to Miami! Once again the bed was comfortable, desk area was good for charging electronics & checking emails, and bathroom had soft towels & everything worked well. We kept our waters cold in the mini fridge, and had we needed them, a microwave & coffee seat up were available. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! They offered scrambled eggs, potatoes, and ham, cheese and egg on croissant. Cereals, yogurts, pancakes, fresh fruit and more were available. We both had orange juice, even though I prefer cranberry juice. That juice was just pink water - but they corrected the situation once we pointed it out to staff. I had a glass afterwards. Staff here is wonderful!! The location is perfect for restaurants and, if you like Costco, two are close by. read more

The hotel is under construction currently. When you pull up with your car, there are two parallel parking spots that you park in. Go in, check in and then need to drive into the parking garage in the back of the building. The team members will show you. Kayla was helpful and pleasant when I checked in. I have stayed here before, however this time my room was a newly renovated room. I took plenty of photos for you to see. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. There are not any electric plugs near the nightstand to charge your phone overnight, however there are plenty around the two rooms. There's a kitchen if you are staying for a couple of days and want to make food, snacks or beverages. The kitchen is equipped with plates, glasses, pots, etc. I happen to like walking over to a sushi restaurant across the street when I stay here. The lobby was hot, I was told the AC wasn't working in the lobby. The room was cold though. I tried getting coffee prior to leaving in the morning, but the coffee was cold. Maybe it was left over from the day before. They do offer complimentary breakfast in the morning. I will be back for work again soon, and will provide any new updates. My wife and I are Platinum elite Bonvoy members, this was our 64th night for the year. The guest service attendant did not even recognize our status and we were not offered complimentary bottles of water, because they ran out of them! Unacceptable, do better next time! Nice reasonably priced hotel with a comfortable bed. It's a bit far away from the beaches, etc, but it's location was actually pretty perfect to where I needed to go in Pembroke Pines. The room was comfortable, it was within walking distance to some decent breakfast spots and all the amenities were great. COVID-conscious and safe, the hotel had good cleaning and sanitization procedures that I felt safe staying here. I booked with Marriott points and the value was good based on the # of points charged. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

This is a significant complaint on the hotel manager and front desk staff. I want the owner of the hotel to call me. Not the hotel manager, the owner. The stay was terrible and the manager not only would not talk to me, so when I asked her why she wouldn't discuss my concerns, she said she had to do her rounds, and said maybe we could talk when I was Ambassador Elite. I am titanium and lifetime platinum. This incident occurred after calling back the hotel and the employee kept hanging up. I drove to the hotel while the phone was ringing and watched the employee look down at the phone, pick it up, and hang up twice, smirking. She didn't realize I was watching her do this. Both the phone issue and the managers behavior were witnessed by one of my employees (staying there) and an airline pilot. Both wrote a statement and are willing to discuss with ownership themselves. I have stayed there and booked rooms for my company's staff 63 nights over the past 14 months. I had Accounts Payable run the history. This smug behavior isn't acceptable for any customer regardless of status. In addition, the hotel was dirty, had terrible service, and breakfast was less than stellar. I am not someone who cares about all the frills. I am a combat veteran and have slept in worse conditions, my care and concern is about decency and common courtesy. This was the worst experience I have ever seen. I have since canceled 12 stays of my employees and moved their stays further away to make sure they don't get mine or my company's business. read more

This hotel is relatively new. The price for our stay was amazing to say the least. The parking lot was more than enough. It's modern touch is very inviting. They have lollipops at front desk. Across from front desk is the breakfast buffet and dining area with a generous seating area. Breakfast was good. I enjoyed the fruits and waffles. I checked in for a nice weekend getaway with my family. I wanted 2 king sized beds when booking my reservation online but there wasn't any available. So I was defaulted to have 2 queen beds(I reserved 2 rooms. One room for me and my husband and the other for my in-laws who were visiting from NY). When I checked in, I doubled check to see if there were possibly any king beds available and unfortunately there still weren't any. With all that being said... Folks reserve months in advance for king size as they seem to fly off the shelves like fresh baked hot cakes. That was not the only disappointment of my stay. My 3 star rating is what it is because once I stepped into my room, it was dirty with crumbs all on the floor. Does this hotel even vacuums is my question? The amount of debris on the ground was a huge disappointment. I only noticed it more because my 10 month old son decided he wanted to explore and crawl wherever he could and he started picking up things from the ground and my husband and I noticed the couches and the floor near the office space was quite filthy. To add to the filth, there was a disgusting red stain on the ground in between the queen beds. It is apparent that the house keeping personnels are doing mediocre cleanings. They just appear to focus on making the beds and decorating the toilet paper and napkins more than actually wiping things down and vacuuming. Please be more thorough all around. For such a new establishment, I should've been wowed with not just the lobby area but most importantly my room. read more

I've spent so much money on Marriott these last few Months. I moved down here six months ago and stayed at residence inn, Westin's, marriotts, courtyards...I have an early job tomorrow so I used my points to book a room here for the night. Problem js my wallet was stolen tonight and I had no cards except a Venmo card so I couldn't pay the incidentals. I had canceled my cards because of the robbery so I couldn't move any money over to my Venmo. Girl behind the desk was fine but you'd think after spending $4,678 at Marriott *this year alone* they would let one $50 charge slide. Nope. I now have to sleep in my car. Thanks Marriott. read more

This brand-new hotel was amazing! I recommend this hotel for singles, couples, groups & families. This hotel has contemporary décor & uses West Elm furniture in the rooms. The lobby is inviting & will make the guests comfortable there as they wait. In the wake of COVID-19, buffet-breakfast isn't available but staff members are serving guests themselves. I have never stayed at the same hotel/resort twice but I indeed will mot only stay at this hotel again when in Miramar, I will seek Springhill Suites elsewhere. read more

Chose this Marriott property due to proximity for a business trip. It was apparent from check-in that management doesn't care about the property or customer experience. Lobby items like grab & go were empty, only one elevator worked, mini fridge wouldn't lower below room temp, shower items like shampoo and conditioner were not only empty but the canisters were removed entirely, and the linens and towels weren't cleaned between guests. I found multiple types of hairs in towels and sheets. Tried to make it work as I'd had a long day and an early morning. Asked twice for a clean set of sheets to be sent to my room. Both times sheets were too small. I decided not to stay and went next door to Hampton Inn. Front desk told me to call the manager tomorrow regarding billing. Spoke to GM Fernando, who told me the room was 100% non-refundable even though I checked in 4 hours ago and was not staying the night. Period. I've never been so disappointed in Marriott, and will be removing this property from our corporate group booking option. read more

This place is horrible. I am here now and my skin is literally crawling. For starters the lobby is nice, but that's the only damn thing that's nice. The room needs a dehumidifier due to the damp smell/feeling. Then, not to mention the room is filthy. You would think with COVID going on more precautions would be taken. I have found M&M's on the floor, stains on the couch, etc. This place is by far the most disgusting Marriot I've stayed in. I wouldn't even put a dog in this cesspool of filth. read more

At 10:48 am 9/6/21 Jacqueline in housekeeping banged on my door, I responded verbally and proceeded to the door but before I could open the door she flung the door open to ask if I was checking out! UNACCEPTABLE! Jacqueline should've received a roster of anticipated checkouts for 9/6 and shouldn't go door to door disturbing guests before checkout at 12pm! Somebody needs to do some training! We stayed here before the family cruise trip. It located between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Not next to major attractions, but minutes driving distance to restaurants if you have a car. The hotel room is clean and roomy. It's a plus when the room is facing big water pond/lake. The morning view was amazing through the hotel room window. Breakfast selection is average. Bedding is comfortable and the restroom is newly renovated. It was a pleasant during our stay. read more

Don't stay here!!! If I could rate this hotel a negative 0 I would !! We Irvia ally booked this hotel for two nights but only stayed one night !! Let me start off my saying that I am totally disappointed in this Marriott property. Upon checking in a gentleman at the front desk was very rude, didn't greet us with a smile nor did he say welcome to Marriott . (Should have known a that point ). We were assigned a room, and when we went to the room it had such an old smell to it, we immediately lugged all of our stuff back downstairs to request another room. At this point we were told that there were no rooms ready and we would need to wait for a room to be cleaned. When we Finally checked into the second room, we noticed that there was a crack in the ceiling and a stain on the nightstand . I called the cleaning lady to ask her to clean the nightstand as we thought it was dirty, however she informed us that it's a stain and it won't come out. After traveling for 4 hours I didn't have the energy to argue. We went out and returned around 11:15 only to find a homeless person walking around outside and trying to get into the hotel. (Luckily the doors were locked). There were also random men in the parking lot. Neathless to say we felt very uncomfortable staying here. My key deactivated so the front desk agent let us in. I went to the desk and requested a new key. Without any hesitation he gave me a key without checking my id!!! BIG NO NO!!! Anyone could have gained access to my room !! So again I'm feeling really uncomfortable. !! When we got to our room I decided to call Marriott customer service to see if we could check out of there and into another hotel because at this point who knows if someone else wld have been given a key to enter my room. I was disappointed at the way that Marriott customer service handled this situation. (I'm sending an email to cooperate tomorrow ). We pretty much was denied a refund, denied a return of the incidental charge and denied retrieval of my rewards. We ended up staying there and barricaded the door. The next day I received a phone call from Lachaze the manager and she apologized for my experience and promised that she would credit my account and return my points. Till this day this has not happened . I was told it would take 48-72 hours and tomorrow it will make 5 days . To everyone who's reading this please book at another hotel or location I found this location to be unsafe and they don't care about their customers. Also let me add that I stayed at many Marriott's because it's usually my choice of hotel until now! They don't even have social distancing signs posted . Just Terrible !! read more

One of the newer hotels in the area that I love! I've stayed on multiple occasions with each experience getting better and better. Cecilia at the front desk always gives great customer service, warm hospitality, professional all around, and is well versed in her knowledge. She's so awesome that after the first two stays, I've grown to look forward to friendly familiar face because we know it means great care amid our stay. Horrible experience so far, hasn't even been 24 hours. Floor smells like weed; room is getting some smell too. Uninterested receptionist at front desk. We went down for breakfast for the first time this morning; it's my first time staying here and were clearly met by a lady who did not like her job. I excitedly greeted her with good morning and was met with the response 'Bacon or Eggs'? As if I'm in some sort of jail. She did not offer any explanation that due to COVID she is going to be serving us, etc. I took a second to process what just happened and then wanted to know what else was on the menu so I asked. I was again met with the same question in a very loud, rude, and demanding tone: 'BACON OR EGGS?!' That was it for my nephew and I. We went back up to our room and are now going fishing for our own breakfast. Will not be staying at this hotel again. First and last time for me. Oh and also my nephews noted some nasty garlic sauce remnants in the room. And the sofa has nasty stains on it. read more

Our family stayed here for a few nights. The first group of family members arrived and was given a moldy room with a damp floor. After having an argument with hotel staff. They gave them another room. Second group arrives. They were given a king size room even though they booked a queen room. Due to the hotel over booking. They had to wait til a queen was available. We arrived. Our room was ok . One bath towel each an a hand towel which we had to use for the shower. 3 days later Our family left. By then our floor stunk of weed. They moved us. Waist of time The 2nd hand smoke from the neighbored smoking cigars was so strong we could barely sleep. We got up packed our stuff waited until morning and checked out early. Staff could care less they told us they have no control over other guests breaking rules. We were on our way to Orlando for the last days of our family trip we cancelled that Marriott reservation on the way down. Take your money elsewhere this hotel is smoke friendly the staff is rude the rooms are unclean and nobody cares. read more
