My daughter has been going to Springstone since she was 1.5 years old. Ms. Mara was so supportive, especially when I was pregnant with my second child. She told me not to worry and that she would help potty train my daughter -- and she truly did! When my daughter turned 3, she moved to Ms. Diana's class and instantly loved her. She loves her so much that she even comes home and calls me "Ms. Diana" now! My son has had several teachers, and our family has been through a lot this year. My husband and I have 4 children and we have tried 4 total preschools over the course of all of their early childhood years. Hands down Springstone Montessori has been the absolute best experience of all 4. We have had 3 children go to this location over the last 11 years. Our youngest son currently goes here and his teachers Ms. Sherilyn and Mrs. Luz are the absolute best. Words can't describe how amazing these women are. They truly have a God given gift and we have no worries or concerns while our son is in their hands. My son has been with Springstone since he was 18 months old, and now at 3, I couldn't be happier with the nurturing yet independence-focused environment they provide. From the very beginning, the warm and welcoming front desk staff made us feel right at home. As a young toddler, Ms. Ashley and Ms. Charmane were incredibly patient during drop-offs while gently encouraging his independence. Ms. Maria was instrumental in successfully toilet training him, and now Ms. Charmane and Ms. Molly are guiding his growth by teaching him important social skills and foundational pre-kindergarten techniques. One thing I especially appreciate is how attentive the staff are when it comes to communication. They do a fantastic job of calling whenever a child is injured--even if it's just to let me know my son tripped over his own feet (which happens more times a week than I can count--kids!). I've been waiting to write this review, since my twins first started at Springstone Montessori back in 2021, because I wanted to provide a comprehensive and honest review. Now my kids are in their last week, after 3.5 years, which in itself can vouch for our experiences. TLDR: Ms. Bryanna and Ms. Molly in the Oak Room and Ms. Justine and Mr. JC in the Cedar room have really helped my kids flourish, gain independence, and grow confidence. My kids are going into their kindergarten more than ready in meeting milestones. Each classroom has a vibe or different flavor and I recommend learning about the styles of each teacher so you can see which would be best fit for your child. The Administrative Team here has finally gotten their groove and are functioning and communicating well. I appreciate their hours of operation and that meals/snacks are included. Highly recommend for a quality and caring pre-school experience. Off the bat and in response to some previous 1-star reviews -Springstone's philosophy is not 100% strict Montessori values but it is their foundation and baseline.. which, for our parenting style of encouraging realistic independence, simplicity, and kindness.. worked perfectly for our family. If you're looking for 100% certified, monotone toys, and no technology whatsoever, then I would suggest looking at other Montessori schools or homeschools in town. We toured Springstone back in early 2020 in order to get our twins on the waitlist. Soon after, you can imagine the flux that ensued which affected waitlist experience and my initial impressions upon registration. Between 2021-2022, there was A LOT of transition between administration, ownership, teachers, and their communication systems. This caused quite a bit of stress for me as a parent trying to potty train and transition classrooms where teachers were not consistent. I almost pulled my kids out but I am happy that I ultimately did not. Since then, the dust seems to have settled and the school is now operating more consistently and with minimal disruptions. My son is in Cedar Classroom with Ms. Justine and Mr. JC. My son is more sensitive, does speech therapy, and best functions with a stable structure that allows for flexibility which Cedar provides. While challenging at first (age 3) and always anxious to go to school (would cry almost daily), he has grown to love attending school, has developed a good respect for authority and his teachers, grown in empathy, and made good friends. He is also learning very basic addition and subtraction which I appreciate that the teachers recognize and can challenge him with. Ms. Justine also encouraged me to bring his speech work into class where she had taken time to do additional work with him during their work cycles. Ms. Justine and Mr. JC are very approachable, authentically develop a rapport with the parents, and have a lot of patience. My daughter is in Oak Classroom with Ms. Bryanna and Ms. Molly. This classroom came recommended for my daughter who is bright, bubbly, social, quick to learn.. but was also very shy, lacked confidence in trying new things, and feared making mistakes. Over the last year she has definitely gained her confidence and found her voice. She's reading sight words, has made her good group of friends (whom I imagine and hope will remain friends beyond Springstone), has learned to become a leader, and has become more challenged academically. Ms. Bryanna and Ms. Molly certainly know how to remain cool in any situation and are always looking out for our kids' wellbeing and best interests. Overall, I really appreciate the transparency, communication, flexibility, and approachability that Springstone affords. They are a great resource for parents as both a childcare facility and also a stepping stone academic institution. Ms. Marissa, Ms. Cruz, and Ms. Kristen have been very accommodating and understanding of any requests, discussions, or other challenges that parents may have. I can understand why certain programs have been eliminated to become more in line with Montessori principles and that they're still trying to find the sweet spot balance between operations and programming. Springstone was recommended to us over 6 years ago by families who had sent their children here and whose kids transitioned from the school and did very well in their elementary years. I can't praise this school enough. My oldest daughter attended years ago and now my four-year-old is there, so we're a returning family. We've tried other schools prior but truly, nothing compares to the experience we've had here. What makes Springstone so special is the perfect balance of academics and love. I brought my son to Springstone when he was 18 months old. He was there until he turned 5 and now is in Kindergarten. He had Ms. Maria and Ms. Justine until he went into his preschool class at 3 years old and then was with Ms. Sherilyn, Ms. Je yu and Ms. Diana. At 3 they can transition over to the preschool class or sooner, but they need to be potty trained. They are a Montessori School, so favor hands on learning. All the teachers did a great job with my son. I can tell he is much more advanced in his K class verses some of the other kids and I attribute it to his time at this school. He also learned wonderful manners and is very good with his please and thank yous. They have changed some of their ways since Covid struck, with monitored temperatures etc. They did stay open during the entire pandemic and were flexible with my son's Father and I pulling him out of school. I loved being able to walk in, grab a cup of fresh coffee and talk to the front desk. Ms. Luci stands out as she was always very caring, knew my name within the first day or two of us being there and was very communicative on any issues. They had picnics at the nearby park, a ton of beautiful art projects, bake sales throughout the year, class visitors with animals. During the summer time they had "Water Day" in which they played outside with all of their friends in the water. I sure hope everything goes back to normal soon so they can resume all of this, if they haven't already. My son was at another school prior to us coming to Springstone and I had pulled him out due to get bit multiple times and bruised. I never had any of these issues once he started Springstone. He also was never sick compared to Always being sick at the other school. He had to get tubes in his ears months before coming here cause he was always so sick. Springstone is super clean. They always had professional cleaning companies in the building cleaning the rooms and the bathrooms. You can really tell a difference in the cleanliness compared to most schools. I only wish they had built on an extension to the school. At this location, they only go up to age 5 or until your child goes to Kindergarten. His Father and I would have kept him in this school longer if we could. We really loved it and it was our childs safe place throughout all of his younger growing. They did a fantastic job and we miss them very much. I highly recommend this school for your kiddo. Just make sure to reach out early before you want to put your child into this sort of school, as there tends to be a waitlist. We waited I think 6 months. They do give siblings priority. read more

We have been with the school for about a year. Really clean, nice people.... For the first 8 months or so. Unfortunately, they have struggled retaining their staff. There seems to be shuffling going on almost weekly. Pictures of teachers and staff up one morning and down in the afternoon. My two flourished until they started being shuffled. My almost five year old (and others in his class) have had potty accidents. My son had not had one of those in almost two years. The staff are struggling to manage behaviors in class, including with my two overly energetic boys. Unfortunately, their only intervention seems to be, "writing up," my four year old. In frustration, I reached out today to express my concern about the management of the kids and I was told, "some kids can't adjust to our program," and, "our program isn't for everyone." It was a bit dismissive and clearly showed they wanted to see us leave which is pretty disappointing for a Montessori program. As long time Montessori parents (since 2012), we are disappointed in the quality and communication at this location. There are others out there. Do your homework. Show up during pick up or drop off to see how they are organized. Check on staff turnover, etc. read more

Wonderful staff and school. My now 3 year old has been going to this location for year and a bit now and I have nothing but good things to say about this school and staff. The first class he was in had Miss Ashley and Miss Charmane as his teachers and they were both amazing with him even through the crying fits in the morning. They took amazing care of him and were able to calm him down whenever he was upset. He really started to open up and start getting independent in this class. They were both very caring and kind to him. He is with Miss Jasmine and Miss Maria now in the toddler class and we could not be happier with the care he gets. They are patient and kind and really care about the kids. They are potty training him and have been super encouraging through out the whole process. They really encourage the kids to explore being themselves and are helpful when we have any questions. Our kid absolutely loves all 4 of his teachers so far and wouldn't leave the school with saying good bye to all of them everyday. The school itself is very well organized with constant updates regarding the kids on the app. They have daily curriculums laid out for the kids which encourages independence and play at the same time. The location is secure and front end admin staff are great. They personally know the kids by name and greet them with enthusiasm everyday. They are very helpful with any parent concerns and questions and I have found them very helpful whenever I have had any queries. They serve breakfast and lunch and snacks which are healthy and our kid has started eating by himself since he started going here. A friend referred me to SpringStone when I was looking to find the best school for my 21 month old daughter. I had never left my baby with anyone outside of family or close friends, so finding the right school was my #1 priority. Ms. Cruz gave my husband and I a tour of the school and thoroughly explained the Montessori way. I had toured other schools and none of them came close to this one. The overwhelming positive feelings I got while on that tour made me decide right then and there that this was the school for my baby girl. Ms. Cruz made the admin process so easy and painless. She was very sweet and was quick to answer any and all my questions. We were lucky enough to land a spot in the Willow classroom with teachers Ms. Ashley and Ms. Charmaine. They genuinely care about the kids and it's very obvious how much the kids love them back. My daughter has already learned so much from them in such a short time. My baby gets so excited for school days. It has made this whole process so much easier because she loves her teachers and classmates. Ms. Ashley and Ms. Charmaine are THE best! I also love the app that SpringStone uses called Child Care Seer. It gives you a play by play of how your child's day is going. Ms. Ashley and Ms. Charmaine are able to send pics throughout the day and I can reach them directly though the app if I have any questions or need anything. The food that they serve for breakfast lunch and snacks are amazing. My baby can be super picky but she actually loves the food. The teachers upload how much of each item your child consumes and you can see it on the app. It's actually helped give me ideas of some new things that she likes. Our 18 month old daughter loves going to Springstone Montessori School! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and they all make our daughter feel loved and cared for. Prior to Springstone, my daughter had daily meltdowns at drop off at her old daycare. But on day 1 at Springstone, she was calm and happy to be there! Within the first week, she had learned all the baby sign language and was finally able to communicate with us. She's only been at Springstone for a few months, but in that short amount of time, her vocabulary has increased immensely. She always comes home happy and with new words that she learned in school. Her teachers in the Birch classroom, Mr. Jordan and Ms. Natalie, are wonderful! Mr. Jordan is knowledgeable and is always helpful in giving us tips on how to continue the Montessori method at home. Unfortunately there is no 0 star!!! Save yourself the deposit or make sure you know someone in the school if you want to get in. Horrible, incompetent, management and communication. It has been 18months on the waiting list and every time I call them there is a different answer: "you're 5th, 20th, 11th, you're not even on the list..." They never call you back, but gladly take your deposit. They are great at blaming people who do not work there anymore. I really love this school. My child is currently in oak room with Ms. Bryanna and Ms. Molly. They are absolutely wonderful and extremely caring individuals. My oldest daughter was also in oak room with Ms. Bryanna and has done extremely well in Kindergarten and in 1st grade scoring high on all her MAP tests with her academic foundation starting in the Oak classroom. She also takes the initiative to help and teach others in the classroom which is something that she learned during her time in montessori. I currently have my youngest daughter in oak room with Ms. Bryanna and Ms. Molly and we have seen so much growth with her and we look forward to having her there another year. After almost 4 years of our daughter attending Springstone, the staff here truly became an extension of our family and a staple of our only child's early upbringing. This was her first and only preschool and her teachers were nothing short of incredible. Michelle was her very first, welcoming us with open arms and a natural gift for working with children. From potty training to life skills to basic education, she had our daughter's confidence at an all time high and was so very cherished! Our children have been attending Springstone since 2022 and we could not be happier with the development we have seen in them. Our daughter began at age 3 with Ms. Diana and has been with her since. I have had all 3 of my children enrolled at this school through that time and have had no issues or complaints with the staff, management or school system thus far. We have loved having our kids there, and my older just finished kindergarten and was totally prepared for it when he started, and succeeded throughout the year, thanks to his prep at Springstone. They do not follow the Montessori way. They hire 19 &20 year olds to stand in on daycare watch until they get experienced staff but can't keep them due to only paying them min. Wage. Caution: This school is not suitable for a 3-year old that has high energy... apparently my son is an anomaly. The teachers and staff will not do anything about verbal bullying of students. Very unfortunate, because our son started there a year and a half ago and has done ok in the younger classrooms, even though there he had 5 different teachers in a year due to high staff turnover. However, He did show a regression in the preK (3-5) classroom transition, specifically, in our opinion due to over population under staffing, unable to supervise all the children, and the lack of experience with high energy children. He was potty trained at 1.5 years old, he's 3 years old now, in the last 4 months has started crying and saying he didn't want to go to school because kids there were saying mean things to him. He also learned from one of the girls in the class how to say "I'm going to k*** your mom" and finally started regressing in potty training, waking up in the middle of the night scared, talking about not liking his teachers or wanting to go to school. In our opinion, there is not a high level of experience or professionalism, that is associated with that school. There are so many things I hate about this school. I have a list of things I hate about this school. And pulling my daughter out was the last straw. I was truly hoping I can bring my daughter back to this school if it didn't work out with where she currently is. I placed my daughter in daycare since she was 14 months. We pulled her out of that one and placed her here because of the amazing reviews and because my BD wanted my daughter in a private school versus daycare. We were on a six month wait list. From the first day to the last day of being unenrolled, this place has given me problems after problems. The good reviews are based on previous owners. The new owners are incompetent and the management team is a nightmare to deal with. When I dropped my daughter off, on her first day, she did not cry and she did not cry since. She loved going. Her teachers always commented how happy she is coming in every morning with a huge smile on her face. The last three months since she transitioned into a new room (because she is now two years old) she hated going. She would start crying and screaming. Yelling mommy, no. It broke my heart. I let it go, until finally my BD said we need a new place that is convenient for him to drop off our two girls near his house. My two year old is the only one enrolled as my youngest is 8 months old. I was okay with my daughter staying for the full month of November since we already paid it in full. However, my BD wanted our daughters to start this new place ASAP together. He wanted to see if we can get a reimbursement from Springstone to use towards the new place. So, I spoke to Amber and asked how many days do I need to provide in order to get a reimbursement. She said two weeks. (I didn't need to ask by the way, I was being nice. Just in case we plan on bringing her back in the future. There is no binding contract regarding any sort of notice to unenroll. I can pretty much give one day notice if I wanted to.) On top of so many other things, this was the last straw; In October, there was ANOTHER covid closure in my daughters classroom. They could not return to school for 10 days or provide a negative covid test. I decided not to take my daughter to get another negative covid test because she was showing no signs of exposure. My daughter had covid in the past (year 2020) so I would know if my daughter was exposed to covid. Instead I had her return after 10 days of the initial exposure. I received a message from Amber that parents received a credit for the days our child did not attend due to covid. Therefore, in November we paid partial. Nonetheless, I paid the monthly tuition in full. For the slow ones... clearly (this school). For example, the tuition is $400. I have $100 credit + $300 partial payment which equals to $400. That is considered paid in FULL. Amber is telling me that my refund is $20 but one full day is $30. And my daughter has two weeks left of November. Please someone explain to me how this makes sense. I feel like I'm being played for a fool because I am an accountant. I do debits and credits for a living. I was so frustrated I called my BD (who has a bachelors degree in finance) to knock some common sense into these people. Amber said she finally understood and said she was going to speak to the owner 11/24 because the reimbursement is high and would get back to us. It's Dec 2. I haven't heard a thing. Like, I'm so DEAD. It's mind blowing and I'm baffled. I looked at reviews of employment and it's just as bad. People who used to work there says the same thing about management. I don't recommend this place. And all you get is a reply saying "I am truly sorry you feel this way, we tried to make the appropriate steps to handle any concerns you may have". BYE! Never again. Idk how this have so many great reviews. My daughter was dirty every time I picked her up. Just oh, just oh. So many things I would like to say. Like that bruise my daughter got right next to her eye, which I have a picture of. If it was not even an inch to her eye. There would have been some serious issues because I was furious but I let it go because things happen. When my daughter got bitten from another child. Truly a hidden gem in our valley. My two oldest were lucky to have been a part of this wonderful school when they were little. Now, my 4 year old has been attending SpringStone for two years and we have been beyond impressed with how professional the administration is, specifically Ms. Ulli and Ms. Lucy. There were times that I called about questions and concerns and they were nothing short of being supportive in their handling. I'm also grateful for amazing teachers like Ms. Sherilyn, Ms. JayU, Ms. Lakitta, and the rest of the staff. These individuals instill the qualities of love, respect, kindness and the belief that cultural integration be a part of this wonderful institution. My wife is a teacher and moved to a school near Springstone Montessori School. We were excited to hear she would be so close to Springstone Montessori as it really didn't work logistically before. My daughter is 3 years old and absolutely loves it at Springstone. Elementary school is a lot different that it was when I was a kid. Springstone does a great job preparing kids for the future. The staff has always been very friendly. The building is always clean. The teachers are great too. The Montessori also offers events outside of the Montessori so parents can meet too. I like to ask my daughter how her day was. She does a variety of activities. My wife being a teacher knows how valuable the Montessori philosophy prepares children to do great in the future. If you have children and are thinking of place that is going to offer more than just child care then Springstone Montessori is you choice. Go take a tour and meet the wonderful staff. Absolutely love the communication and the environment this school has to offer. Ms. Lucy and Ms. Uli deals with the administration and keep us involve. I have a 3 year old and 2 year old and the adore their teachers. All four teachers are very attentive and sweet. Seemed like a great school at first. Very clean. Then once you attend you see their true colors. Staff that are qualified quit constantly due to admin. Unqualified teachers remain. The lunch is not as nutritious as they claim. Not real Montessori. The rooms are crammed with students although they claim low ratio which is s lie. Other private schools do not have ratios as high as theirs. They let children with behavior issues rule their classrooms. I found out my child was bitten by another child who had already bitten numerous times. This child also screams and destroys the classroom. They claim to want to help the child but with what I pay in tuition my child's safety should be considered. This "school" is a daycare at best. Admin wants you in for your money and thats it. I would never recommend to anyone who wants a nurturing school. read more

As a parent I value a school that puts my child's education first. SpringStone Montessori School not only ensures that my child is being taught through the Montessori philosophy, but also makes sure they are getting the appropriate attention each one deserves. Our son, now 5, has been at Springstone since he was 18 months old. We cannot say enough. Trust the process-they know what they are doing. At 5 he reads, writes, and does math. We got the list of things he should be able to do once he finishes kindergarten from the public school system and laughed. Montessori teaches respect for others thoughts, feelings and objects. Because of Springstone our son is well mannered, respectful and intelligent. In regards to some of the other comments: teacher student ratios are low and if a child is unruly they can be sent home for the day--this includes your own child. Go see Springstone for yourself. You can observe the classrooms from monitors in the lobby. Go for a tour-maybe you will get to see children gardening, at computer class or doing yoga. read more

After reading my review, I was contacted by the owners of the school. They graciously apologized and returned my deposit, so for that I am grateful. They seem to be kind people who mean well and I'm sure there are many happy parents who have children in their program. The issue may be with some of their staff, although they have assured me that they are working to ensure that my experience does not repeat itself.
