Well, the pump accepted my Chevron gas card, and gave a small discount. But the display was upside down. It's a big station with wide islands. Appears to have a carwash and taqueria. It has a food mart. I stopped here at around 7pm to get gas and use the restroom. Also, to take a break before heading up North Vasco Road. If you're new to the area, North Vasco Rd between Livermore and Brentwood is one of the most dangerous roads in the SF Bay Area. There's been many safety improvements, but all it takes is one bad or sleepy driver to ruin your day. If you feel tired, stop and take a break. So I went inside the food mart to survey the snacks and use the toilet. The cooler had beer, sodas, waters and energy drinks. Typical gas station snacks. No key for restroom. The bathroom was OK for a mensroom, but maybe not OK for an all gender restroom. It looked a bit sloppy. I think I understand why people don't stop here. Would I return? Only for the gas.

I could barely find a parking spot in the afternoon. Perfect for an industrial business park. Big sodas, coffee, hotdogs, Slurpees, snacks, and junk food for the road. But I dropped by a few nights ago, and the place looked rundown and dirty. Change of ownership? Gas prices were average, nothing to get excited about. Inside, the female clerk was friendly and full of energy. Meanwhile, there was an old dried up jumbo hotdog on the warmer beginning to collect charring. The place needed restocking. So, next time I'll just keep going, nothing to see here. Located at South Vasco Rd x Las Positas. 2 blocks south of I-580 ramps, and north of Lawrence Livermore Lab.

We came late at night near the end of a road trip so it was empty, we chose pump 8 but it took 14 minutes to fill less than 16 gallons of gas! The pump worked sooooo slowly. I would try a different pump or a different station if I came back to this area for gas.

(Quik Stop and an independent fuel station on opposing corners both take credit cards without a fee, same fuel price generally.) But glad to see they've returned from the shutdown during the brunt of the economy going south. It is a slightly more convenient stopping point than the other two, though if it's a potty-only stop, McDonalds is across the lot and may be a faster option (and $1 a pop... for a pop, is a tough option to beat). Good variety of munchies, too.

Once the last of one of our family members exited the restroom, one of the employees ran to the "out of order" and opened the door for the remaining customers that were waiting. They watched us carefully as we walked around the store to purchase snacks. Once we got to register, the employee then decided to knock our beverages down and laughed about it with their coworker. After getting our change back, the cashier refused to give us a receipt after requesting one and then proceeded to talk in their foreign language to us. Never thought we'd experience this horrible customer service on Easter, let alone with our children watching this whole situation . Will never come back to this location or step foot in another AMPM after this.
