Before leaving the San Ramon Valley and heading to Santa Cruz, I wanted to do that on a full tank of gas. One "Cheap Gasoline Near Me" was A&A gas at $5.45 per gallon, a full dollar more than back in the Carson Valley. This station was a little hard to find and based on the line-up at the pumps, this was a popular "cheap" choice. I used to frequent this gas station when it was Valero, so it made sense to keep coming here especially with the convenient location. Little did I know their regular is $4.75 a gallon when you pay cash!! Thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Always great prices on gas, but the car wash is hit and miss, if there's no one to help

I know the price was great in this economy but a simple gas & wash turned into a scary situation! I gased up (its cheaper if u pay cash) I needed a car wash so I went for the 10 dollar option. That included spray on your wheels and a quick soap up on the outside before you run through the auto wash. They did neither, so when I came out the wash I went back inside to let them know. Now mind you the same guy was cashier and car wash guy so I was talking to the person that did my transaction. There were 2 guys working. I pointed to the services and I said "my car went through but I didn't get my tires sprayed and no one soaped up my car before I went through, so can you refund me the difference for the cheaper wash" He said "No that's all you get" I took a picture of the service card and I tried to reason....not knowing he was a madman... So I said again "look at your services, you charged me the higher price but gave me the cheapest option" His response got mean "NO Refund! That's all you get!" I said "are you sure, because I'm going to review this place and I have a lot of readers?" He said "No and get out"! I took a picture of the front counter and walked back to my car. He comes running outside and literally stands IN FRONT of my car, now yelling " GIVE ME YOUR PHONE! DELETE THOSE PICTURES! IM NOT LETTING YOU LEAVE" I'm thinking is this really happening? I try to move my car around him and he keeps putting himself in a position for me to hit him with my car! I pick up my phone to dial 911 and I yelled thru my window "This is UNLAWFUL DETENTION, YOU are committing a crime by stopping me from leaving! I'm calling the police!" Nightmare in mid daylight! So then he yells " I work here for 8 dollars an hour! I will refund you! I just want you to delete the pictures!" He says "get out of the car, come inside! I'll give it to you!" My "spidey-sense" said NO Kimberly, DO NOT get out of the car! So I cracked the window and said " I will delete the pictures & show you my phone, but I'm not getting out, then you give me my refund" I hold my phone up, show him I'm deleting the counter picture. He says "delete the other one showing the prices!" I'm a hostage, negotiating MY OWN RELEASE, in my own vehicle! Why didn't I dial 911 and let the police handle him?!!? He took out cash and shoved it through the cracked window and yells " I will Remember your face! Don't ever come here again!" I yelled back "It's not your gas station, you work for 8 bucks an hour SO don't tell me I can't buy gas here! AND I'm still going to review you, I don't NEED pictures!" He stopped blocking my car and I drove away.... I would say, Women BEWARE this location, I don't think he would have tried this with any man... Overall, currently 3.5 out of 5, round up to 4. Albeit, this current review is just geared towards the gas and not the cash wash or buying any knick knacks like candy or lotto. With 2022 and it's current state of affairs in terms of gas prices, I've decided to try this little gas station out due to its much lower gas prices than the big name corporate stations. At this review they were charging like $5.40 per gallon while one of my local gas station was charging over $6 per gallon. As for getting in or out, they do have direction arrows for the traffic flow which can make it easier and less confusing. But, due to its size the lines I've seen can get sort of long and tight getting around other cars, so be warned. Since I want to save a few bucks here and there, odds are I'll be gassing up here more often than not. read more

The clerk with the glasses, who you need to wait for, seems to have an issue giving receipts to customers who make purchases. I made a cash purchase and had to ask repeatedly for a receipt and instead of being handed a receipt I was handed a No Sale ticket. I would suggest you try another establishment if giving a customer a receipt for their purchase is an issue. read more

I always come here for gas and decided to do a quick wash this time. A guy came out and cleaned every inch of my car before I went it! He came out and dried the entire thing as well. I felt so bad I didn't have cash on me but will 100% be back with cash! read more
