Update: Waiting on estimate for drip line repair that they recommended. Didn't receive call, I followed up about two weeks after initial visit. Two gentlemen came out to do the bid, they didn't not include the back area which was my main concern. They also helped fix something on my timer which was originally set when they were here but not station 1 on my sprinkers does not work. I called and asked for a call back hoping they could talk me through how to fix or come by to do it themselves....no call from them. I will now call another company. read more

I initially hired Sprinkler Medic to the fix drip irrigation and install the new drip lines for all the new plants I added. They dug the holes and planted the new plants I purchased. We purchased the plants and fountain from Green Acres. Sprinkler Medic installed all the drip lines and even made suggestions on where my new plants should go. Jesus and Marco called prior to coming over. The time was at 8 am and they arrived exactly at 8am. They kept track of the hours they worked and the supplies they used. We are extremely happy with the job they did and plan to hire them to do additional work in our garden such as putting in Bender Board, granite walkway, and they will even have someone who will do the electrical for the new fountain we purchased. Okay, if you want or need landscaping, this is the company to use. Rick and Lupe are amazing. First class work and design. These folks know what they are doing, from the first meeting I knew Rick Johnson was an expert. Worth every penny we spent on our landscaping. They will give advise on every aspect of the project. What really impressed me was the detail Rick puts into getting the site ready for landscape. I didn't even think about water run off and drainage. Others that quoted the job never talked about it, makes me wonder if they new what they were doing. My mom hired them to remove some oriental grass in our front yard, and cap of the drip system to the oriental grass ( 6 plants) and put black paper and rocks in the spots where the oriental grass was removed. They did a really good job and cleaned up the area really well. This spring we will probably hire them to put in some smaller plants when the weather is better. read more

We've seen several new Sprinkler Medic trucks in our neighborhood running around for the past few months. We had a need for sprinkler repair so we called Sprinkler Medic. They arrived at 8:50 and by 9:05 they were done and wanted $173.25 for their time and materials (materials in this case equalled $3.25. So it was $85 to show up and $85 to adjust our timer, plus a filter clean out. Can you say rip off????? Now I know how they are driving around in shiny new trucks....they are basically getting $600 an hour at their pricing. Thanks, but no thanks, Sprinker Medic. Sprinkler Medic provides landscape services for my HOA. Right after they left a week ago a 2 foot radius turquiose stain was noted by the facet where they had mixed something. There is absolutely no way they could have missed seeing it but left it for the home owner ( me) to deal with. The property management sent an email with pictures and to request information regarding chemicals and/ or substance it was. I have not received a response. It has left a faint stain on my stone pavement. They were here again today and no apology and it was not addressed at all. read more

Bad experience from start to finish. Workers showed up without masks. I asked for a sprinkler repair and complete system check for my drip irrigation system. They did the repair but when I went out to test the system once they left, it was like they didn't check anything. I called them back to my house, and asked about the full system check. First they said they did but I had clogged emitters, one popped off, and the water wasn't flowing properly. Then they actually went to look at the valves and said I needed pressure reducers but subsequently only put them on two of the three valves because currently the third valve mostly connects sprinklers that are capped. Again, I wanted a FULL system check. And then tonight, the third set of sprinklers clicked on and I have water flowing from multiple capped sprinkler heads. Now I have to do work I paid them to do or pay another person to do it. Definitely DO NOT recommend. read more

Beware. This company makes its money on a huge markup on the parts. They will quote you the labor cost, which is reasonable, but not the parts. Then you get the bill, and you find out. Labor for our project was about $350; parts were over $1,000. Example: a 3/4 inch slip adapter at Home Depot retails for 31 cents. Sprinkler Medic charges $3.50 for that part, and you can be sure they don't pay retail prices when they buy them. When I complained, they said "the markup is built in for company profit and overhead." For sure. read more

Absolutely the best! I was in desperate need as a small lake was being formed in my backyard. I contacted a local irrigation supply store and they highly recommended Sprinkler Medic (SM) in Penryn. I contacted SM and explained to them that I am on an irrigation line, which supplies water to seven additional homes below me, and that time was of the essence. I received a call back within 15 minutes from Austin who was extremely professional. He said he could come by and give me an estimate in 30 minutes. He arrived within 20 minutes with his associate Michael who assessed the situation, made several suggestions, quoted me a very reasonable price and proceeded to fix the issue. Within 3 hours, they dug a hole 4 feet deep and 4 feet wide, replaced some worn out parts, tested the pipes and put all the dirt back. It has been 2 weeks now and everything is working perfectly! I was really excited to learn about Sprinkler Medic, because they offered to do a job that is really important but really tedious. My husband and I really didn't want to do it ourselves. They came out the first time, checked our sprinklers and even more importantly all the drip irrigation. The made sure each plant was getting the water it needed, got rid of any extra emitters that weren't watering an existing plant and thereby wasting water, and repaired some leaks. I called them to come out again quite a while later and expected as good of a job to be done. But I was disappointed, because after they left, I found several drip emitters out of place, not leading to any plants. I expected SprinklerMedic to fix these, not just leave them there! Part of my goal had been to avoid wasting water, and I did not feel that this goal was achieved. I called the company a few days later and told the person who answered the phone that I wasn't satisfied with the service. She said she'd have someone call me back, but no one ever did. So I won't be calling Sprinkler Medic again and will try to find another company that can do a better job. read more

I had an excellent experience with Sprinkler Medic. I had them come out several months ago for a broken valve that needed to be replaced. They were up front about the service call fee and explained it when I spoke to them on the phone before making the appointment. So I'm not sure why there are so many complaints about the fee as it's not a surprise or hidden fee they're trying to pull. They were knowledgeable, friendly, fixed my sprinkler system, and showed and explained the work they did. I was happy with the work done and found the price to be reasonable and fair. read more

Are you kidding me? Jason came out with a helper named Danny and maybe it's because I live in granite bay but seems like they ripped me off. Not only did they not fix anything. He charged me $170 for 40 minutes and all I got was "you have a broken pipe and loose wires" which I already knew? Really? His customer service was terrible and worst of all I am exactly where I was before they came with the exception of being short $170. They charged me $85 to come and $85 for an hour of which he wasn't even here for an hour. Jason then told me it would be 5 hours for him to fix it and I would have to schedule another time because god forbid they have to work past 4pm. Please save yourself a headache and don't call them. Every other place I spoke with after they came said I was ripped off $170 from them to give me a f--king estimate. I am so pissed I hope they go bankrupt with the crap they just pulled. They came out and did the repair on short notice because we were leaving town for a week. While they were here, they actually found a pretty major underground leak (broken pvc pipe) that I hadn't noticed before. They fixed that too. Would definitely use again. read more

I had leaks on my side yard. Jason told me it was the valves, and he replaced two sprinkler valves each time in two visits (October 2017 and December 2017). Upon inspection, one of the valves he replaced is not even hooked up to anything, but he was happy to put a new one on there!!! Then last Friday evening, July 20, 2018, one of the them blew, and I had neighbors running at me when I arrived home to tell me the sprinklers were leaking on the side of the house. Well, it was more like a fountain because one of the valves just blew apart. I had to turn off the water, and called them immediately. Here it is Monday at 1:45 p.m., and although I called again this morning at 10:40 a.m., nobody has returned my two calls. I've just called again and am posting this. let's see if they make things right by at the very least calling me back! read more

Well, I got their name from a good friend. Austin and Michael came out to prepare a bid, find out my drainage problems. That was one fee, and I was told that before them came. They arrived on time, checked out the issues, investigated thoroughly, then explained what needed to be done. A proposal would come by email in a few days. That happened, an appointment was set up. Abel and Jose arrived this morning and started the work assigned, then Austin and Michael checked in and helped for a short time. Abel and Jose completed both drains that needed to be re-set. Fortunately, the ground was soft, because the trenches need to be dug deep, and they had to dig through a lot of roots. They finished the job by mid-afternoon, cleaned up everything very nicely. They were professional, gracious, and worked hard. I will be watching when we get our next rain - am trusting there will be no more flooding in my backyard. read more
