After several consultations and estimates from many different landscape companies my wife and I chose to go with Brandon and his crew at Reliable and couldn't be happier with the results. We had been sitting on a landscape design and needed someone to bring the vision to reality. Brandon immediately translated our plan into his software so we could discuss options and take on suggestions for improvement. He was quick and precise in making adjustments to appease our HOA and fit within our budget. The crew was meticulous in their work on the yard. If it was on the plan it was replicated in the yard. If we saw something that needed a slight adjustment they were happy to accommodate. I recall a situation where we needed a concrete walkway to go wider around an AC unit. The crew quickly responded by forming a wider path. Nate was great at scheduling project dates and also helped to make sure our AC units were reinstalled in a timely manner after our concrete was poured. We were relieved to have them up and running again before a forecasted heat wave arrived. Brandon was there at every stage of the project and was always quick to respond. He was at the nursery with us when it came time to choose the plants, making suggestions for plants that best fit our specific environment. During the middle of construction a rain storm hit our area and we had some concerns about how the yard would handle it in an unfinished state. He came out late at night to make sure the drainage would be okay until the storm passed. Upon completion of the project he was there to make sure everything was tidied up after the final walkthrough. If someone were to ask me for a recommendation on a yard install or remodel I would surely tell them to call Reliable Landscape and Design. read more

Reliable Landscaping? This company is the furthest thing from reliable. I completely regret choosing this company and trusting them with a major project. We signed a $67,000 landscaping contract with this company in March. While we understood the initial weather-related delays, the way our project was handled afterward was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. On our scheduled project start date (May 26th) no one showed up and we received no phone call, email, or update. After taking time off work to be home for the project, we had to call the company ourselves, only to be met with confusion and surprise, as if they were unaware our project was even scheduled to begin. They then scrambled to contact employees and send someone out later that day for a "walk through." This is something that should have been completed well before the scheduled start date. We were then assured work would begin the following morning at 8:00 AM. By 10:00 AM, no one had arrived and again we had received no communication. When we called for answers, an employee told us the owner and our project advisor should have already been at our house to speak with us. That had never happened. When we calmly expressed our concerns about the repeated lack of communication, the no call/no show, and the fact that we had now missed multiple days of work for nothing, the owner, Brandon, immediately responded by asking if we wanted to cancel the project. We explained that cancellation was not our goal. We simply wanted accountability, communication, and follow-through. Brandon then stated, "I don't like the tone you have. I've been in the landscaping business since the 90s. I have 9 other projects going on and I don't like your tone, so we can just go ahead and cancel this project." At no point were we disrespectful. We were frustrated customers trying to understand why a major project had been mishandled from the start. For a company handling projects of this size and cost, we expected professionalism, communication, and BASIC reliability. Unfortunately, our experience has been the exact opposite. I do not recommend doing business with this company. read more

Brandon, Amanda, and their crew did a fantastic job with our backyard. Brandon is truly gifted when it comes to design. He worked with us very patiently and you can tell that he views every project as an opportunity to dream up something new - I.e., he doesn't just apply a cookie-cutter design to every backyard based on budget. He really cares and demonstrated that throughout the design/construction process. He does have his own unique "style" when it comes to materials and we were very impressed. Personally, I haven't found another contractor in the area who puts out a product that looks as high-quality as Brandon's does. The project consisted of better defining both sides of the entry to my driveway with large boulders, building a retaining wall and stone steps that leads up a hill to our Oak tree and a natural patio area for a bench at the top of the steps and under the Oak tree. It was surprisingly so difficult to find a landscaper that would respond to us with a call back and even to come out to give us a bid and the ones that did was horrible at communication. Everyone with Reliable Landscaping and Design was so amazing to work with. Brandon immediately caught my vision, which I had actually lost a long time ago, thinking it would never happen. Max, the foreman, was very responsive to have the guys make any little change I asked for and spent time with me explaining how the irrigation system worked. He also assured me that if I had any questions or needed help with anything after they were done they would be there for me. For my project I gave a detailed description of what I needed done and the size of the area. I then asked if there was a minimum. Then a guy called and started asking me for my personal info. I said wait, first is there a minimum? He said yes $10,000. So I said I described in detail my project, and there is no way that it would even meet the 10,000 threshold. And I also inquired if there was a minimum with no response to that question. So after all of that, the guy is still calling me to waste my time. This is the type of business that doesn't listen to the customer. I would not recommend them. read more

We wanted a low maintenance front yard and a place to entertain and relax in our backyard. The service we got from Amanda, Brandon, and their crew was excellent! Brandon was able to turn our vision into a reality and gave us suggestions to elevate and tie our design elements together while working within our budget. We absolutely love our new front yard landscape designed and constructed by Reliable Landscaping. When Brandon arrived for our first discussion, he listened to our ideas, our requirements, and assessed the architectural aspects of our home. We threw him some challenges to accommodate a "toy" storage space too. He then delivered us a great design rendering within 2 weeks. The rendering showed us, using a video walkthrough, what he had in mind.
