I reached out to several landscapers a few months ago, Juan was the only one out of four landscapers to respond. Juan came out to my house, I needed the front yard and backyard completely done. We walked through the project, I was open to suggestions. He had several good ideas and I felt like he was knowledgeable. He said he couldn't start the job until mid October which was about a month and a half later. I accepted the timeline and waited. I didn't hear from him as the date got closer and he wasn't very responsive to my texts. He told me that his bid was wrong and it was going to cost a lot more than he thought and he also wanted to push it to December. Here I waited a month in a half and now I have to get more bids and start over. Some of the items I was planting were supposed to be done in the fall so I lost all that time. If I had my guess, he didn't want to do the job and maybe just thought by doing what he did then I would go away, I did. I have someone else working on the job now and am very happy and we now have to wait until spring to plant- bummer. read more

We reached out to Terrain Creations to assist in helping re-landscape our backyard after we put in a new swimming pool. Juan, the owner, was very responsive and set up a date to come out and provide an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and provided excellent feedback on ways to make the yard more usable and welcoming. We ultimately chose them to do the work based on a combination of price, their knowledge and feedback from our estimate meeting, and the quality of their past projects (take a look at their website gallery). The quality of their work speaks for itself and was the main reason we chose them. The end result is that we are incredibly impressed with the work they provided. Juan and his team communicated well, showed up on time, were professional, courteous and friendly and completed the project within budget and on time. In addition, they went above and beyond what I expected in locating and making adjustments to existing yard drains and generally communicating throughout the project to make sure I understood and was happy with what was going on. He did everything the way we asked, except he made a recommendation to keep the sprinklers from hitting the house but bumping out the patio a couple feet (and he said he would cover the extra cost). We could not be happier with the terrific job Juan Guerrero and his team did on our front yard landscaping. He and his team worked quickly and efficiently to transform our front yard. They arrived early in the morning everyday for the 4 days they were here and worked until it was almost dark outside. They did a quality job. We have an even bigger project in our backyard and we will definitely be calling Juan when we are ready for the next project. Yes, he is very busy and is booked out a couple of months, but the great job that he does is worth waiting for. He replaced our front walkway with beautiful pavers, added an olive tree and various other plants as well as sod in our front yard. He also added walkway lighting as well as spotlights for some of our plants and even hooked up our front yard fountain to a remote control to make it easier for us to turn on the fountain. I am very thankful I found this company. I have a fairly large backyard with a new construction house. The backyard is completely empty and would cost 10's of thousands of dollars to get fully landscaped. Its seems difficult to find a reliable and honest landscaper these days! I called Terrain Creations and scheduled an appt for an estimate. I rearranged my schedule to be available. I was ghosted, no show. I called and was told "I forgot" and they will be at my home in 30 minutes. An hour later, still no one? I called and just cancelled. I cannot do business with companies or individuals that cannot keep appt times, show up late or not at all. It leads me to believe that, if I did hire this company, this is the service I would get.
