Don't waste your money. Both brothers were very friendly when they came out to gave us a quote. I was a bit Leary of them from the start because they seemed to tell us what we wanted to hear with every question we asked. However, my husband liked them so we went with them. They gave us a quote to plant 6 palm trees, 5 shrubs, and lay rock as ground cover. We were to buy the trees and plants. I asked if they we going to grate down the slope a bit and if the water supply we had would be sufficient and they answered yes to both. After the job was completed, not even a half days work they tell us there is not enough water supply going to all of the trees so they will have to replace the water valve. Another $75 later they say we still don't have enough water supply and whom ever put in the water line did it wrong and it was not their fault! When I asked them why wouldn't you check the water supply before you start a job like this. You are a landscaping company. The answer I got was "yeah we probably should have", one brother said " it's our fault, my bad", and "mistakes happen" Not once did they try and renegotiate the price with us. $1600 later, we have trees and shrubs that will most likely die! The crew added to my existing driveway. The crew did a quality job. Value was good based on other quotes and they cleaned up and left everything looking great. The one problem I had was, we agreed on increasing the size and agreed to a new price. However, when they were done putting the concrete in, less than half of the agreed upon additional size was actually added. I pointed that out and told them it was not right. They begrudgingly offered to drop the price accordingly but I just paid in full. Point is, be careful. There was a bit of a bait and switch and they did not expect me to verify the added space or call them on it. read more

UNRELIABLE I called Chris Waters last week. He made a appointment with my husband and I for Thursday May 28, 2020 at 3:00 pm. He text us to cancel at 2:48pm on that day and then he requested could he reschedule. I told by text him that we would available at 1:00 pm on Friday May 29, 2020. He just text us at 12:46pm on May 29, 2020, that he would not be able to come. He had to work all day. Could he reschedule another time? We replied back to him "No Thank you." Very poor customer service. Obviously, when he knew he could not make a commitment he should of given us advanced notice. Duran did an awesome job. Their suggestions were great and we were really pleased with the work once completed. They were thorough and clean and even came out separate times during different phases of the project to set up drainage and irrigation. Asked for a quote for a concrete sidewalk we wanted to have installed. Asked if we had a quote from someone else. My husband told him the price, which he should not have and it was for cement not concrete. Victor said he would call us with a price in the morning and never called. Very unprofessional. read more

The worse. Had to take Victor to the CA State License Board to get him to fix fence and concrete issues that were severely cracking with 1 inch ledges; it felt like you were on a decline past the ledge in on my back patio. They mixed old and new wrought iron fencing and the new they installed is such poor quality next to the 30-year fence with splitting paint and rust. When he finally corrected the original poor workmanship, we had decided to extend the new concrete to the entire back patio and my husband convinced me to have Victor do it while fixing the original. He was higher than competing bids and shame on me, I went with him out of convenience. He didn't show up for the job with his crew. Months later, the new section of concrete around the pool started to crack severely, again. His crew forgot to include expansion joints around the pool corners. And, pieces of concrete came loose from other sections; literally, just fell out. He sent his crew back to fix them, and they are ugly fixes and they made no effort to match the original concrete color. So now we have new seams with ragged edges and a dark gray while the rest of the concrete is a hue of rose. Pathetic. We will likely pay someone else to correct this because I don't want to let that crew in my backyard again. read more

Victor Duran and the team he put on my job were fantastic! The foreman, Juanito and Victor always listened to my requests, concerns and comments and acted on them accordingly. Our communication throughout the process was fantastic and neither one of them were afraid to tell me if one of my suggestions was not a good idea. I've just moved to Lincoln so they gave me excellent guidance on what plants to install, which type of irrigation was best for each plant, the size of my dry creek bed, the artificial turf choices, bark and pebbles. If I could give zero stars I would! This company is disrespectful and rude to the surrounding neighbors where they are performing repairs. EIGHT o'clock on a Saturday morning is not a respectful time to start using a concrete saw and jack hammer! Thanks to the management for sending out workers to do this kind of noisy work on a freaking Saturday! I work all week and cherish the ability to sleep in on my weekends. The neighbors who hired this company are going to hear a thing or two from those who were rudely awakened. Not cool! read more
