I'm trying something new this week. Trying to eat more protein. Eating more veggies. And eating more fruit. Sprouts is my go to for produce. Everything I got today was organic, except the apricots, only because they didn't offer apricot in organic. The Kiwi's I was very excited for. Normally they are $5 or $6.99 and today were just $1.99. snacks for the week! My little haul was $50.00, which isn't bad for clean eating that will last 5 to possibly 7 days. I did hear Sprouts is going to start carrying lab grown meat. Although I don't buy meat from any grocery store. This is sad and upsetting. Sprouts FARMERS Market. Key word being FARMER. Stopped in because this was the only place in the area that carried a particular kind of imported canned fish I was interested in trying. (Fishwife from Denmark). They did have it, and on sale at the time, so worth it for that. Took a while to find it, all the staff were intensely busy not making eye contact or being available to ask for help. Lots of variety of some different brands, different from HEB. Most out of my usual price range, unless I'm looking for something special. read more

The only grocery store I go to anymore after discovering the huge difference in quality products here vs HEB or Whole Foods. Everything here is always fresh and the ingredients are healthier without sacrificing taste! (Their version of Takis are so good!) But even if not for the stuff they sell, it's the customer experience that keeps me coming back. From the greeting I get when walking in, to help when I'm walking through the store (they are always so accommodatingto stop what they're doing to help me find something. Brayzon, Stephanie and Cristina are some of the names i remember helping me), to the goodbye when leaving, it feels personal and warm. Love this place and will keep coming back. read more

Today, I was making a birthday lunch for my hubby and needed plantain as a part of the entree. Sprouts Farmers Market always has plantain and is my "go to" grocery store. I zeroed in on the vegetable portion of the store and with laser focus I found a stack of plantains. They were 79c each, a very inexpensive purchase. I grabbed two and headed for the self-checkout. While walking in I noticed Sprouts now has a Rewards program. I suppose this is to make customers "sticky" so they will return on a regular basis. Another new addition was a question displayed on the screen, "how many bags would you like?" I thought that was a rather unusual question. I had never been asked this question previously. Feeling the pressure to respond quickly, I cratered and typed zero. I really did not need a bag for two plantains. However, out of curiosity I asked a cashier if Sprouts was charging for bags now. She said, "yes...10c per bag." Snappity snap snap!!! Holy cow! First HEB, now Sprouts, who's next Randall's? I know you are saying, it is only 10c per bag. It will start out 10c, then 25c and before you know it will be a $1 a bag...just like postage. At least, next time I shop at Sprouts, I will be mentally prepared to pay 10c per bag. On a side note, the plantains were perfectly ripe and were a delicious part of the lunch. My favorite time shop at Sprouts is early morning when the customer environment is quiet. read more

This store is clean and well organized. It's 10/10 if what you need is alternative goods such as gluten free, soy free, etc etc. If what you're hoping for is a full service grocery experience, I found the produce options to be slightly lacking and I had a hard time finding a few other dry food and prepared food equivalents. Otherwise though it was a good experience and the store does what it specializes in well. read more

If you haven't already built your own sandwich at the Sandwich Bar here, you're missing out. I ordered a roast beef on sourdough. The sandwich was stacked with meat and for such a good price too. I believe a sandwich costs $5 or $6 depending on whether you get additional toppings. Definitely the place to go if you're in a rush and want an easy/cheap lunch. read more

I love this store! They offer a variety of fresh produce and meats. The bulk bins are fantastic and a great way to save and keep pantry items fresh. Scoop out only the amount you need. I like their organic rolled oats to use for overnight oatmeal. Don't miss their dried herbs and spices in the bulk section too. read more

First time in a Sprouts. Felt like Whole Foods and Trader Joe's had a baby. A very expensive baby. I couldn't believe the prices for things like crackers, pasta, tea, etc. I had trouble finding a box of basic crackers for less than 8 dollars. Their produce all seemed to be over ripe too. The cashier was pleasant, but the place as empty for a Sunday afternoon. I'm sticking to HEB. read more

I definitely recommend you go to sprouts today and grab one of their five dollar sandwiches. It's a great deal for one dollar more get water and chips to go. I got a build your own sandwich with sourdough and chicken salad, I added all the veggie fixings and it turned out amazing. Any appreciation post. A love letter! In the past I was not a big Sprouts fan or shopper. But, since moving, this store is close to me so I go often. Yes, Sprouts across the board does not carry all of your needs (mainstream brands for toothpaste, toilet paper, soap), but now I know that and plan ahead. What I love about this location specifically: 1) in just 1 year I've seen SO MANY vegan + gluten free products added! Products that even Whole Foods, Nature's, HEB doesn't carry. I am vegan and when I come here, I know that I'll leave with a basket full of goodies. 2) Always clean: Huge for me - this is the only store where I see staff cleaning carts and baskets, wiping cashier areas, and hand sanitizing stations through out the store. Self checkout registers have been added. No opinion yet - but assuming it helps with contactless payment. This location is taking the pandemic so seriously, that I come here also just to feel safe. 4) I can get in and out in a timely manner. Even when lines seemed a bit longer during the holidays - more registers were open. I really can't express enough how much I appreciate this location. They are trying hard to stay stocked and keep us safe, and I love it. read more

This Sprouts is my go to for seasonal treats. I'm a big fan of pumpkin and they are fully stocked during the fall season. Try the pumpkin snaps. Omg - so good. Staff here is always helpful. Last Thanksgiving I went into the store and gave my order for a turkey to one of the butchers and I saw him write it down. The day before Thanksgiving I went in to pick up my turkey and they didn't have my order or any other one I could have. I love Sprouts. This is my favorite place to go when I'm looking for something special and the ONLY PLACE I found a gluten free pie crust last Thanksgiving. I even had an employee at another grocery store *cough* {H‑E‑B} *cough* mock me for looking for a gf pie crust 5 days before Thanksgiving....so it was a blessed relief to show up at my local Sprouts and have a professional and polite employee point me in the direction of a gluten free pie crust TOWER. I even had flavor options!! Amazing. In addition, I love when they have specials on their freezer goods - I've stocked up on all sorts of frozen fruits, veggies, and more during these sales and they always have a good deal on something I always need or something I've been wanting to try. I've purchased from pretty much every category they offer and I've yet to find something that wasn't a good quality item. So many gluten free options as well - although I wish they had more bread options. All in all, I love shopping at Sprouts and always know I can find what I need (or want!) here. Crazy thing I was here at this place. I walked to the area where the water was and I hear over the loud speaker about groceries. Next thing you know as I'm looking at what I want to buy, a worker walks buy. Then Ana other like 20 seconds later walk through. Then another one, then one that walked through once already walked through again. I visited today for the 1st time & it wasn't a good experience. I realize we're in the midst of Covid, but the quality & quantity of some items shows & they really do need to improve social distancing practices. Cons: * Organic, roasted chicken is horrendously dry & so salty is was impossible to eat. Were I not 10-mi away, I'd have returned it. Instead, I'll save it for chicken soup, so the water can soften it... real disappointment. And, lighten up on the salt, deli guys... I'm still thirsty from the 1 leg I managed to choke down. * Not a great amount of meat choices, in general (steak/roast beef, bacon), but what they did have was fresh. * I couldn't get into their very well stocked personal items area, at all. Day stockers (I was there around 2pm & trolleys with boxes took up one end of the isle & the person stocking took up the other end.) They were blocking the isles from both ends... I've have had to move their carts to enter the isles as they're too narrow to safely bypass & peruse. The store was fairly filled with customers & I noticed others had to bypass those isles, too. It's fine if you know what you want & just need to ask someone to step out of the way for a sec so you can grab it, but I always need time to search around. Why aren't stockers working at night or early morning before opening/closing? There were 4-5 employees shelving while I was there, so I was prevented from picking up about 1/4 of the things I needed. Kind of disappointing, cuz I'll need to go to another store for toiletries & vitamins. * The head cashier was rude, but being from big cities, I'm used to that... it was just surprising that all I asked was if I could tap my credit card & where (I'm new to the tap-n-go generation)... her reply was, "I guess so, I don't know... just move the card around 'til you find it." Lovely response. She's a head cashier (her t-shirt said so) & doesn't know? Odd... * With as many employees as I saw inside the store, I'm surprised it wasn't as clean as most Sprouts. Sweep the floors more often, please. Pros: * Most produce was fairly fresh & prices were decent. Unfortunately, nectarines & green grapes were dismal looking... why? Take old fruit off the shelves. I'm new to the area & was looking for Costco (supposedly .2-mi away), but couldn't find it, so dropped in on a lark, mainly as I ran out of coffee beans. I've had Sprouts beans before & they're good... I'm hoping this lb doesn't disappoint cuz everything else did. I wouldn't bother going in again. HEB has produce just as fresh & many more choices. I'll still try to make it to Costco next wk. As a parting note: Whole Foods is even more dismal, so maybe this is all a Covid thing... stores have to take what they can get? Sprouts is my favorite supermarket right now. If you are single, do not like to cook, like to eat healthy, and like to save money, this is the place to go. The have a lot of handmade dinner meals that just need to be warmed that are tasty, healthy, and inexpensive. I started working at Cryo Fire July 15th, which is located 3 doors down from the Sprouts in Cedar Park, Texas. I decided to walk over and purchase a Sub style sandwich. The Deli manager, sorry I can't remember her name, who was amazing, suggested that she have one of her assistants make a sandwich for me. Sweet Artesian Bread Muenster Cheese Lettuce Mayonnaise This sandwich, which is priced at a very affordable $4.99, was and is the BEST bought sandwich EVER! I eat this Sandwich 2 to 3 times a week. Pre-pandemic, I would shop Sprouts every week or two. They had good sales and double ads on Wednesdays and would pay you for using your own shopping bags, but... they eliminated the double ad days, have not had good sales on the things I buy, and have been afraid to touch your shopping bags for three years, even though they touch the produce and merchandise you just handled. They also have a habit of not taking the sale signs from the previous week down, so you think something is on sale, when it is not, and they will not honor the posted sale price, but you don't know until you have already paid full price for it. I rarely go anymore. Will probably check out Whole Foods since they were bought by Amazon and are supposedly cheaper now. read more

The parking lot of this shopping center can get a little hectic, the goat cheese selection is weaker than Knicks starting 5, and there weren't as many local options as I would have anticipated. Sprouts mails me their weekly inserts, I don't know how they found me but the produce and prices look appealing. On this weekend I gave my friend a ride, she loves Sprouts and asked if I could take her there to pick up a few things. Sure thing, Driving Miss Nancy. I enter the former Borders Bookstore and become enamored by the displays and set up, it's definitely the organic movement and it's well presented. Reminds me of a Whole Foods + Trader Joe's hybrid. There are some good buys here, yet some items are the same or more expensive. They offer free coffee (yay!) but they were out (boo!) so we flagged a guy down and he eventually brought out some new stuff (yay!). They make their own sausage in-house and it's well priced. I got raw almonds for $3.99 / lb that week - -half off, now that's a deal! The overall experience was pretty good, however, the customer service was a bit flat and inconsistent. I totally agree w/ Holly A's "fish fu*ker" comment , although I didn't see any fish-fu*ker-fondling going on - - we just seemed to be a nuisance to them. Probably because I loitered around for while waiting to see if they would caress the crab, or stroke the salmon, or tickle the tuna, but nothing happened. Our cashier was really nice, energetic and talkative, but most of the other employees we interacted with were in their own little busy world. It's like that at Whole Foods, but generally if you need help they'll drop what they're doing and will go out of their way to make sure you're happy and satisfied. To be fair - - it was an hour before closing time, so maybe they caught the Fish Fu*ker Flu or something...? Regardless, I like fish, fu*king (not fish) is great, and it's ecstasy when I find a good bang for the buck. So the Fish Fu*ker Flu isn't enough to make me to shop elsewhere, especially if there's a half-off sale on raw almonds and your sausage + fish is well priced. I would definitely recommend Sprouts cuz competition is a good thing - - even if a little fish fondling is involved. Just be sure not to give in to the Fish Fu*ker Flu. read more

I was in the neighborhood, having just blown some money at Bed Bath & Beyond, and I needed milk. Do I want to drive to H-E-B, or do I just want to get my grocery shopping over with at Sprouts since it's right here? Sprouts won. Walking in, I saw Sprouts for exactly what it was: Whole Foods. So I expected inflated prices. Actually, the prices seem fair on about half the items. In fact, the milk I got was only $1.99. It's over $2 at H-E-B. Score one for Sprouts! However, they didn't have much toothpaste to choose from. I was hoping for some run-of-the-mill Crest or something, but there were only specialty brands to be had at Sprouts. That bothered me. I understand carrying the specialty, green, organic, etc., brands, but can't you at least also carry one lousy tube of Colgate?? I got the cheapest brand, which cost over $5, and I didn't get a very big tube for the price. So Sprouts loses a star. The check-out girl was helpful, especially in explaining to me how to bag up things in the bulk foods section and write the box number on it. Oops, I didn't do that. Didn't know I was supposed to. But now I know. She didn't get pissed off that she had to look up the code, and she didn't treat me like an idiot; she simply explained the process, and that was that. Much appreciated. I'll know for next time. And it's a good thing she was still watching me as I grabbed my bags and started to leave, because I almost ambled through the emergency exit. Had she not warned me, I'm sure I would have set off some awful-sounding alarms. Once again, I'll know for next time. I certainly won't do my normal grocery shopping here because it's too expensive, and they simply don't have everything I need. But if I need something special, green, organic, etc., I might stop in here again. As it was, I got milk, toothpaste, dinner, raspberry-lime water, gummy worms, and some chocolate-covered espresso beans for $20, so that ain't too bad, methinks. read more

Love the prices. Love the people. Love the natural and organic options most!! Sprouts and Fresh Plus on the same scale for me as far as items go. I appreciate the employees at Srpouts and never walk out of there complaining about service. They are friendly, helpful, and informative/knowledgeable. If Im cooking for other people, I prefer buying conventional produce here for 3 reasons.. 1. It looks better than HEB..always. 2. It is less expensive here than HEB 3. They have it.. never been out of anything, organic or conventional that Ive needed. All of those are pluses! For sure. They just redid the store, I think I took some pics on my last visit.. It looks great. They have added quite a bit, including coffee to go... yaaay! And a Boars Head Deli Counter. Less wine (which was surprising) but more produce (larger variety) more healthy items, organic items Iv'e noticed. I appreciate that. Their sales are great, they run from Wednesday to Wednesday with double ads on Wednesday (best day to shop). I like the store. Its nicer, cleaner, and they have used their space more efficiently. They now have more selections and the store itself is spacious. Im a regular shopper...especially when I need something in the AM before NG opens.. Sprouts opens at 7am! read more

I love this grocery store - organic fruits and veggies are reasonably priced! I will say there are certain things you can't always get here as their vegetable and fruit selection is seasonal - so for example sometimes they just aren't selling asparagus. On the other hand, this is how they can offer you seasonal vegetables at such a great price! Staff is super friendly and will stop to help you for anything. Most give a smile and a nod even when you just walk by. I did have some problems finding mint and basil once and the guy I talked to literally dropped what he was doing to check in the back immediately. Their organic and non-organic salad dressings are pretty much to die for! PLEASE try the shitake mushroom its so fantastic I can't go a week without it! From the deli, the chicken sausages from the counter are our favorite favorite favorite grilled item to have for cookouts. All our guests rave about them whenever we serve them up (especially the chicken feta sausages)! For the kids - The grocery store and the store nextdoor are pokestops. I recommend sprouts to everyone looking to cook their own delicious organic food. read more

I have been really looking forward to trying out my first Sprouts and since this one opened up right next to Whole Foods North, I dropped by here first to check them out. I walked by the meats and fish dept and was kinda disappointed in the selection. I was here for my Bison meat and found none. I asked and all they had was prepackaged meat in the freezer section from some place. Whole Foods has it fresh ground in there store so i passed. But props to Sprouts cause they did have frozen Elk burgers and i had to try those out. The produce looked fresh and pretty good prices but selection also seemed to lack as compared to WF. And to continue the theme...the wine selection was not nearly as good as WF. Salsa's, same thing. So i will be back to check on there progress since they are newly opened but being so close to Whole Foods North, I'm not convinced yet to switch to them full time. But it is always good to have an alternative. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to find Sprouts out here, I used to shop only at Henry's/Sprouts in San Diego and Los Angeles, so I am happy to have found this store. Prices are still fantastic, staff is, for the most part, friendly. Save for your little hipster pukes that for some reason couldn't hack it over at Whole Foods, yes, I still want to punch you, little hipster stock clerk. And you still carry those little things that you may not find at HEB or Randall's, etc. What little things? You know...those little things... I came here to get a couple of items for my wife. The one thing that stood out through my whole shopping experience was the service. I even had a helpful customer! I like to go into a supermarket get ask someone where to find it get it and B lin e to register and get out of there. No browsing for me. As soon I walked in I asked a worker that was packing a shelf where to find honey. He stopped what he was doing and walked me all the way to other end of store and helped me find that item. He also helped me fnd my next item until he was needed at the register. However, I was given a warm hand off to someone else who helped me. I was able to get in out in satisfactory time. I get my groceries at Sprouts whenever I can. Their weekly sales are good from Wed-Wed so if you go here on a Wednesday, the ad for the previous week along with the new one applies. Produce is fresh and plentiful and they also have a good selection of coffees and health goods. The meats they sell are usually really fresh. I get my steaks, chicken, and other meats from here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I will definitely keep coming back. read more
