I love going to sprouts. The employees are always so friendly and helpful. As soon as I walked in I was greeted. The employees are also very willing to show me where the actual product is rather than just the area it is located. I was looking for a specific product but it was out. The gentleman that helped me was able to pick out a great alternative I never would have thought of. I am excited to try this new product out in one of my recipes. read more

It's pretty hilarious reading some of these reviews. Yes, this food is all natural and doesn't typically have preservatives. So it will go bad faster than food with additives and preservatives. A few of these reviewers don't seem to understand that. They'd be better served at Walmart. This is why you can't have anything nice, Greeley. All jokes aside, this place has decent prices for healthy food. I've never had an experience where produce, bread, or any other offering went bad shortly after purchase. The food is high quality. When going to or through Greeley, try to stop at Sprouts. Several weeks ago I used their restroom. It was filthy...especially the baby changing table, even walls, floor and doors were dirty. Spoke with an employee. She shared they have had concerns. I asked to speak with the manager. I gave him my name and address. He contradicted the employee saying they hadn't had complaints. Then he said they were changing the cleaning company in 5 days. I told him the bathroom needed to be cleaned today. I would have done it myself if my husband, who is disabled, and my appointment were later in the day. I commented that I wanted to see the condition of the men's restroom since men don't aim well. Have gone in the past 4 weeks. The bathroom has yet to be cleaned. If they can't clean their bathrooms, just how clean is the store with open bulk containers, employees using bathrooms with their aprons on, not washing their hands, several employees could use a hygiene lesson--they smell so bad. The store is going down hill. The Weld county health department, the corporate office, and manager for Weld County and front range stores, must not supervise this store which used to be top notch. When I go shopping into a store The most important thing is good customer service. Today I was there and ordered sliced meats and cheese. The Employee there by the name of Ethan has some crappy customer service, And his attitude sucked. He don't even change his gloves when slicing meats to cheese. I mentioned it to the meat cutter and he told me his name and asked him why he was acting the way he is? The answer i got was because he was the only one working in his department. First of all Ethan if you are not happy with your job please find another one. And also please start wearing your name tag so I don't have to ask another employee for your name. I've done grocery shopping there twice in the last three weeks and over half the groceries have gone bad, when you go back to talk to the manager she's nasty mean(blonde lady in her 60's) you can show her the date on the products and that it's rotten and she's not going to give you an exchange, it's pure theft and it's unhealthy people could die from botulism food poisoning etc. do not go there until they get a new manager and everything gets taken care of- this is the first time I've experienced this at any sprouts since they have opened. I bought the jelly sandwiches rotten next day, I bought them lunch cheese boxes rotten within 30 hours, all the fruits and vegetables that are fresh rotten by the next day, the expensive bison gray and rotten by the next morning from frozen to thawed- everything is rotten-their trucks may not be a temperature in route is all I can think of- or they're just not rotating their stock. Went back in yesterday to give them another try and COOKED shrimp five dollar sushi the second we got at home it tasted so bad we were afraid we already had been stricken sick, DONT BUY THE SUSHI read more

Ever since CoVID started they feel that now they have the ability to discriminate completely against people with disabilities. That when something is not possible that they can refuse service to a service dog and handler. Not appropriate at all and can end up with the DOJ involved and a pretty lawsuit. read more

This place is great. The employees are always friendly and helpful and the produce and meats are the freshest around. Whenever I want I really good steak I head to Sprouts. A new find that was surprising is that they actually have very good Ahi Poke! Just another reason to visit often. I highly recommend this place. Great service, fresh food and good value. read more

They have such an amazing selection of fruits and veggies. Also a great selection of gluten free foods. Parking is great but the area is very crowded. Traffic can sometimes suck in the area. They are a little pricey on some items but for the most part have great sales. I'm really glad this location is close by. read more

I am a displaced Jersey Girl. I am used to Trader Joes and Whole Foods, along with coming from the Garden State farmers markets everywhere. I eat like a vegan who eats seafood. (Pescatarian no dairy, there's not really a name for it). So yeah. Moving to Greeley, I was depressed I wouldn't be able to eat how I do. Living in Slaughterhouse Land upsets me greatly, but I am so thankful to have found Sprouts. Their prices are amazing. I do all my shopping here. (except maybe garbage bags, and paper towels and items like that). But other than I buy everything here. The prices are seriously amazing. The quality is amazing. They also will order you something if they can. I can seriously buy like 4 bags of fresh organic local food for like $20. One bag at Whole Foods used to cost me over $50 for ONE bag! My only complaint and it's a BIG one is I wish they had a salad bar and hot food bar (like Whole Foods). There is no good salad bar in the area. Safeway doesn't have one, and the one at King Soopers is a joke. But this place makes this organic, granola eating, vegan feel good about living next to Slaughterhouse Land (that was written about in Fast Food Nation - man that says something). read more

Which is why I was so very excited to discover Sprouts! Great quality produce at extremely low prices. I'm visiting Greeley for two weeks while my daughter does a graduate conference as USC and I play with my grandson. I appreciate, and crave, fresh fruits and vegetable and was THRILLED to find a Sprouts in the area, especially after visiting some of the big box stores. My grandson and I stop in each morning after dropping of my daughter/his mother on campus find the fresh food we'll eat during the day. I appreciate the salad and cold pressed juice section -- I've enjoyed the quinoa and couscous salads plus the Evolution brand juices. The bulk food section has provided some delicious raw nuts (for me) and the deli has provided fresh chicken (for him) so that I don't have to resort to nuked frozen chicken nuggets, a thought that turns my stomach!!! There's a good selection of organic produce and plenty of fresh, locally sourced food!! The cashiers have been delightful and the people who shop at Sprouts are friendly and helpful too read more

This is the best place short of going to the farm. Having grown up in the farming country of the mideast, I was disappointed to find out that Wal-Mart set the standard for produce in Colorado. But Sprouts has given hope that qaulity produce is available in Greeley, and at a reasonable price. There have been times that I have visited Sprouts for the entertainment value. Now we don't have to go to Denver for "Baby Bok-Choi". Bulk items are super: Arborio rice, thank you, and other rice, too. Good pine nuts. An inviting selection of packaged soups and fruit juices. A lot more plusses than I can remember... I didn't care much for the on-site made sausages. They lack Teleme cheese, but then doesn't every place in Colorado? I miss Teleme. For opening days, prices were very low! I suppose they will stabilize at average for the type and quality (organic, fresh, uncommon, exotic, and yummy). Addendum. My boyfriend and I went to Sprouts when it first opened, just to check it out. We didn't plan on coming away with an entire cart full of groceries! The food here is really good, fresh, and reasonably priced. Packaged items and canned goods will cost you more than at King Soopers or Safeway, but the produce is a steal. Seriously, I recently bought three pounds of peaches for only $1! Sprouts is now our main grocery store, but we still have to go to King Soopers for some things because Sprouts does not carry them, or they are too expensive. read more

I have been visiting Sprouts more and more over the last year. I have come to prefer it over the rest of the grocery stores in Greeley for a few reasons. First, the staff has always been uniformly friendly and helpful. Second, their produce is almost always the best in town, and more often than not is less expensive. Third, I love the fact that it is a small store. Obviously they do not have the selection of some of the big stores, but that is part of the reason I like it. I can walk in, take my time shopping and looking at stuff, and not feel like I am on an epic journey. Also, because it is smaller, there is less impulse buying, which results in savings. For those reasons, it is my preferred store. If I need to stock up on canned goods or paper products, I prefer Walmart (and that is virtually the only thing I prefer Walmart for), and occasionally I want to pick from the bigger selection at King Soopers or Safeway, but for my normal grocery needs, Sprouts is it. Edit to add: I have not personally done any of their healthy shopping classes, but I observed one one day when i was in for something else, and it is a nice little thing that they do. I know some of the other stores do it as well, but the lady that was doing it at Sprouts seemed genuinely interested in helping people learn to shop in a healthy manner and she had a great sense of humor about her. read more

For good quality food this is the place in Greeley. The prices are better then any place in Greeley. The produce selection is top notch with great prices and freshness. Their natural sausages are amazing! They also have a great natural wellness section. I was sold for live when I took the ads from Safeway, Kings, and Sprouts and did an item for item comparison. Major savings. I think some people might think it is a hippie over priced organic store, it isn't. That is what I thought before our first shopping trip that ended in a full cart. We stopped in here last night while we were in Greeley. Specifically looking for the Palisade peaches they had advertised. What we found was a picked through pile of leftover crap. Asked the manager and he said they would have more in the next morning. Your sale started today so why were there not more to begin with? I have seen better produce at Wal-Mart compared to these peaches they had out. Noticed their prices on branded vitamins are a lot higher than their competitors. Picked up a couple of things on sale and left disappointed. Never been to Sprouts at any other location that was out of produce the first day of the sale. Very disappointing. read more

I have to disagree with the other folks here...I don't love Sprouts. The produce is the least expensive in Greeley, yeah, but the quality is lower. I've experienced sour oranges, watery, old onions, funky blueberries, etc. Plus, if you shop there for more than produce/meat, the higher prices on canned goods/dry goods/dairy/etc. more than make up for the cheaper produce. Finally, for a "natural" seeming store, some of their products have bad-for-you ingredients, like partially hydrogenated veggie oil (trans fats) in some of the bulk food. And the bread selection doesn't compare with the better King Soopers or Safeways in town. Good chicken, though. read more

There was a young lady at the store in the meat department who was very kind to my mom and I, and she offered to let us pick a different drink rather than water because she thought it was sometimes a little boring. So, we smiled and picked two Tazo teas, and went to the checkout counter and started paying for the rest of the products. The woman who checked us out, by the name "Ann" quite rudely confronted us about the teas we selected after explaining we traded it in for water. She told us that she would, "let it slide," and that usually the staff are supposed to have customers purchase water with the lunch special. My mother retorted her attitude, telling her that we can put the drinks back, and that we have water at our hotel room. We were buying snacks because my mom was visiting me and we were planning on having a fun weekend together. She also told Ann that if she wants, we can bring the worker from the Deli over and she can speak with her, "as this is a conversation to be had with the employee and not the customer." We left, with many customers and staff staring at us, and came back to the hotel where my mom called the manager. After calling the manager, Aaron (or Erin), my mom learned that the young lady at the Deli was allowed to give us alternative drinks, and that it was commonly practiced. This means that Ann rudely announced our presence when it was not necessary. We don't know if it was racially charged, but we were the only two African American (Black) females in the store, and we assume this was why we were approached in such a loud manner. I am a student at UNCO, and I am a senior Criminal Justice and Anthropology major. I will never come back to this Sprouts despite being offered a refund and free sandwich. read more

I really want to incorporate more organic and/or healthy eating options, but shopping at Sprouts is very uncomfortable for me. I sense an unmistakable aloof and maybe snobbish attitude and environment at Sprouts. I am a hispanic woman, I am not rude or pushy, I am well spoken, and my money is just as good as anyone else's. When I am at Sprouts, I just want to get in and get out quickly. Previously, I would walk in with a ready smile, but after I felt the thick and heavy negativity, I just pretty much grab what I need and I do not browse much. I am not blaming Sprouts, however, I would feel that it would be a huge improvement and many more people would shop at Sprouts if we could experience a more varied ethnic mix in the work force. Maybe the belief is that ethnic cashiers may be rude? Not necessarily true, any culture can be rude if not trained properly. A varied ethnic as well as appropriately trained work force, would have a huge impact on how this type of environment can change and become approachable and friendly to all. Incorporating a varied ethnic staff and workforce would definitely make a positive impact. Hope more can be done to make it easier to shop at Sprouts. read more
