I love this place! Was introduced by one of my neighbors. They have everything. All types of fish to cook and a variety of healthy shopping options. They even had a guy giving away samples. I purchased some cucumbers fresh veggies and granola and garlic butter mussels. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Except for this was for healthy options. I definitely plan on returning very soon! They have everything very organized here. I've seen this store from the parking lot but never tried it out. So glad that I did. Prices are reasonable considering most is organic and healthy. Deli/Sushi bar phasing out gluten free products? On the board it says you can order a gluten free sandwich, but the staff consistently say there isn't any gluten free bread available. Last time I tried to order a sandwich, a staff member said "you know that's a $10 loaf of bread, right?". Which is the price that I too, as a customer, pay when I need bread from Sprouts. Additionally, there is not any gluten free soy sauce available anymore. Anyone else encounter a similar experience? read more

I have been to this location a few times now and can't express how much I appreciate this store. I have met the helpful and friendly faces it employs. My items are always ample. One thing I miss is the near reach for wines and beer ;-) ok that's the liquor store, I digress. Access to fresh produce and local suppliers are a must for me. Apart from the farmers market all year around, Sprouts delivers excellent options and service in the community in which it serves. I went to Sprouts today in Pasadena, MD in search of desserts for company. My search included gluten free and no sugar added. Found the gluten free with no trouble but had assistance from the store manager for the no sugar added pie. The store only had a whole pie which I was only looking for a half pie. The manager was going to cut the pie in half but instead gave me the whole pie as a demo item. Needless to say I was totally shocked and excited. I can't say enough about this store. The store is well stocked and clean and the employees are really nice and friendly as well as helpful. Bottom Line: A great spot for produce, healthy groceries, bulk foods and fun health-minded products. Spouts was one of my favorite grocery stores when I lived in San Diego so I was over the moon when I heard they were making their way east and even setting up shop in Anne Arundel County. Spouts basically started as a farm stand in San Diego offering fresh produce and I always felt like the store's produce was better than most other grocery stores. But I wasn't sure that a store in Maryland, several driving days away from where so much produce is grown, would be able to offer the same quality and freshness. I would say the produce at the Pasadena store is better than other local grocery stores. Anyway, what I love about Sprouts is every store is bright, clean and nicely laid out. As much as I don't like grocery shopping I feel inspired at Sprouts. The produce is nicely displayed and I like that they still use wooden crate-like displays as a homage to their farm stand days. I also love that they generally have bulk foods. Sometimes I just need a little bit of something for a recipe and I like that the bulk foods give me flexibility on how much to buy. However, I will say that during the pandemic their bulk foods are pre-packaged into small packages for obvious health reasons. Aside from groceries, the deli offers ready made items from fresh sushi. They also have a salad bar and olive bar. For deli meats, I really like the Boar's Head brand and you can get them at Sprouts! And of cheese, glorious cheese. There is lots of cheese to choose from at Sprouts. It is easy for me to get lost in wonderment in the beauty section at Sprouts. They have lots of essential oils, great sunscreens and yummy smelling bars of soap. Natural products aren't my thing but they have lots of natural health and beauty products for those who prefer them. I also usually enjoying looking at the cards too. Overall, its a beautiful store and I just wish it was a little closer to my house. read more

I don't think I would be back, I did feel like everything was overpriced and even though I love walking around what feels like an indoor farmers market I like to keep money in my pocket. There are a few special that I am not sure you could or would find at a Wally World but I would look just save some money. The staff was helpful and nice and there displays were well kept. I just thought maybe their stuff was a tad over priced. The store was well kept as well, so that was a plus and I also liked all the vegan options that were available. read more

Prices are high. New coupons & app. But, when the competition has the same exact products for sometimes half the price, you got to ask, wtf is going on here??!? Sprouts does carry a couple items that some local stores do not, this is why we return. Meats are over priced. Produce is not fresh most of the time. Sprouts needs to lower prices, they must be tossing out tons of food cause you can't donate spoiled food. I don't see this location lasting much longer if they do not adapt. Hope they figure it out. food is consistently expired. check the dates on EVERYTHING before you buy it. i've bought moldy cheese, expired yogurt, and this coconut water that i bought just last week that i already drank half of. i went back to return the cheese and the cashier says that's just what happens with organic food. no apology, nothing. and the cheese wasn't even organic... i'm forced to shop here because there aren't many healthy places to buy food in this area but it honestly really sucks. but most of the staff is super friendly. lots of variety of products too. only reason i can see for people complaining about the staff is if they were rude to them first. so just be nice read more

This is such a nice small grocery store. Lots of organic options! If you're looking for brand name cereals and sodas, this place isn't for you. But if you're looking for delicious produce, fresh cut meats or seafood, a large cheese selection, delicious sushi to go, and lot of milk alternatives, this place is for you. I picked up some sushi to go twice now and I love it, super fresh and well rolled. They have a large nut and bean section where you can scoop them into baggies. Also, chocolate covered nuts which is a vibe. You won't find candy at the register but you'll find 3 for $1 honey tubes which I happen to love. They have lots of organic food options as well from broths to cereal to almond flour. Lines are always short and quick! Remember to mask up and definitely check it out. read more

This is my new go-to place for quick groceries. They have very fresh produce, meat, and seafood selections. Their cheese selection is absolutely divine... a whole wall of every type of cheese you can think of. Their seafood prices are a bit steeper than other places, but meat is cheaper. Check out the meat stand and request it by the pound rather than picking up the prepackaged ones. They always have some type of sale on berries, which you can check on their weekly ad via the Sprouts app. My favorite pick is the Sugarbee apples, which I've never heard of before. They are perfectly sweet and crispy. They also have many vegetarian and vegan options for those who need it, as well as an assortment of grains, nuts, and dried fruits. Tip: pick up a bag of the Jalapeño kettle chips in the green bag. You'll thank me later. read more

I absolutely love this store normally, but I couldn't give it more stars because of the terrible service at the deli. When I went to the counter, no one made eye contact with me, they just kept cleaning and doing other chores. Finally after a few minutes of standing there ignored, I spoke up and asked a lady if they were open. She looked at me like I was the rudest imposition and said, "Someone will be with you." Nice store but don't buy the organic pineapples as of 11/2022 they must be freezing them in route or something bc I have bought 2 that were green and I let them ripen a couple of days, still a little green when I cut into it and both were completely rotten.
