12/29/25 Reluctantly went in due to errands in the area, I say reluctant because the last year or so Idk what is going on there but this place is not what it used to be, and its just this one, Brandon and Riverview are 5 stars repeatedly. The staff are not friendly, look annoyed and miserable, not helpful, just night and from from the other 2. Not nearly as many mgrs sales specials, answers get quippy weird responses. It boils down to mgmt here. This store needs help. I went in 2 grab a cpl items and picked up a plant and as per usual all the plants had not been watered in goodness knows how long, which is an issue at all the stores. But I wanted to revive it and for 50 cents I figured i could try. When i Was checking out the front end mgr (who I have had strange convos with in the past) he and another man walked by and said hi. I commented about the plants dying and needing water and the other guy just responded, thats why they're on sale. Not sure we will water them. It was snarky. So I said to the other guy who stayed to bag my stuff, so that means no water for the plants, do I have to do it? He just looked off into the distance and ignored me. We had a fantastic experience at Sprouts Farmers Market! They hosted a field trip for local homeschool families and did an amazing job educating both parents and kids about food supply, nutrition, and healthy choices. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, and they even catered a delicious lunch for all the families, which was greatly appreciated. A special thank-you to Melinda, who went above and beyond by letting my wife and me try two new grab-and-go bowls -- a steak bowl and an ahi tuna bowl. After shopping here for years, they decided to charge 10 cents per bag for the same thin plastic shopping bags that are free at every grocery store. Couple that with the horrible service recently and the other problems from the new management, I will not be returning. Too many other options in the area that actually want my business. read more

Adding a mini heads up: If you like me n drop by when u can just to buy a meal? They added a freezer a little bit inside between the fresh package meals n the booze n fruits area. It has discounted frozen meals with 1-2 main n 2-3 sides for about $11+ vs paying main: $7 up + sides $7 up per sides. They also have the taco kits there. Im happy they bring exotic fruits to. Found Buddhas Fingers citrus. They are freaky looking n sooo freaking tasty. I would get them before i go back i buy a bunch lol they are on a hold list in agriculture cuz believe me i tried finding a nursery to buy myself a plant. N its no go for now cuz Florida is a citrus state n they protecting the farmers P_P the three nurseries that have em told me no way. Oh well ill buy rm when i see them. Nice whopping.99 cents per fruit. Smells gentle n sweet great for candy making. In Puerto Rico we have a similar fruit that doesn't produce pulp n its 99% rind. I believe it's called Citra or something like that. It's a giant grapefruit. The fruit part taste like acid but the rind has the consistency of an apple but taste like orange. Great for rind candy. Grows in the highest points of the island. Oh yeah also bought their fresh apple cider, very earthy notes love it! Great to add more yeast n just let it turn to booze! Lol read more

I haven't been a Sprouts here in Florida and my sister wanted to go there to get some veggies so I happily went along. It's very easy to find as it's on Lithia Pinecrest so you won't miss it. The store itself was VERY clean and they had so many choices for people who may be vegan, doing keto, or organic. I was very surprised at their large selection, it was very nice. Their coffee aisle smelt so good, I stayed there for a bit. I bought a couple of veggies and fruits for $5, so I was very happy. Great products at a great price. I can see why people come here. Cashiers are confusing because you don't know which one was open cause the cashiers aren't there and when you think you're loading on an open cashier lane, they tell you to bring it to another lane. The cashier lead was not helpful as we waited for a few minutes and they were just chilling. read more

This store is amazingly clean and well kept. So much fresh & organic produce to choose from. Their meat department is on point! They also have $5 sushi on Wednesday's! Unlike a lot of other stores, they have a wide variety of organic and specialty items that you wouldn't find in a normal grocery store or "health food" store. Surprisingly, it's all reasonably priced! I was excited to find pistachio muffins, because I haven't found them anywhere since moving back to Florida. If you haven't been, you have to check it out! Sprouts is a smaller and less expensive Whole Foods, with the exception of their fruit and vegetable section. They have an extensive selection of fruits and vegetables, both organic and not. Everything I purchased was ripe and lasted several days. They stock hard to find items such as eggplant and escarole. There is a large selection of fresh nuts and chocolates. The bakery section is well stocked with individual items such as muffins and breads and pre packaged pies, cakes, rolls. They have a large selection of cheese, as well as a deli dept. I consider this store a specialty market. I would stick to publix and walmart for the majority of my food shopping. read more

A great store with many options. We came in search of no salt items. We found chips, peanut butter dark chocolate almonds and a few other items. I did not find no salt salsa but may need to look at more. We also tried some specialty melon that taste like lemonade, green beans and chocolate covered banana chips. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this store on Lithia Pinecrest. In particular their deli & deli manager. She's a delight and an efficient joy. I love the snack boxes they offer. They're just the ideal thing for me. In the last few months I've been having a problem sourcing them from the Causeway Store. It's been weeks since I was able to get some varieties. The excuses vary, but still excuses. What I did not know I'd that Instacart has their drivers fulfill orders from one store. For me it was Causeway, which I did not understand why as I live @ 1 mile from the Lithia Store. After an ugly confrontation with Instacart over this issue, it dawned on me that perhaps another delivery service would work. My friend went to the Lithia Store and sent me photos of full cases of snack boxes. Not the photos of empty cases I was getting from Instacart shoppers. In any case, I placed an order with Grubhub for the following morning and lo and behold, it worked! But more importantly, the Deli was low on them that morning, and the Grubhub driver said the Deli manager told her to wait a few and they'd make some for me right then...and so they did. After delivery, I called the deli manager to thank her for her kindness. It means a lot to me. I'm a handicapped senior, and I rely on delivery a lot. She said anytime I need them, please call her a day ahead, and they'll make sure I have what I need put aside for me. I can't ask for more than that. Thank you, thank you. read more

This is more of a organic health food store. I've gone to this store many times and I only leave with fruit and vegetables. I have walked around this store and never really find myself buying anything. I prefer to do my shopping at Publix, Costco and Sams Club. I'm not always crazy about the fruit and vegetables at Publix so I now go out of my way to go to Sprouts for fruit & veggies. I LOVE Sprouts especially their great meat department where I often pick up some fabulous Ribeye Steaks, Filet Mignon, burgers, chicken and the best bacon ever! I also enjoy their fresh produce department that has great selection and prices. Next up the olive bar is a big hit for me and it is quite a bit cheaper than Whole Foods and The Fresh Market! I also like to purchase their brand of canned goods, fresh and frozen wild caught seafood. And I love that they have a section with specialty flours and sugar alternatives! The worst experience I have ever had in grocery store. Saturday May 20th at 1230pm cashier at station #3 is so unhappy with his job that after visiting this store for first time ever makes me never want to come back again. 1. Price check for nail polish was done incorrectly and unexplained. 2. Gentleman who was bagged my items forgot to place my items into my cart. Good thing I have checked before left the location. 3. Attitude of the cashier was awful when I calmly did price check on my own and challenged him about it. Good thing there was a lady in vitamin section who explained. 4. When I asked how can return item , cashier was gone back to his station . When I came to the station to do that , he ignored me. If you're a crunchy mom or whatever, I could see this place being your go-to grocery store. Lots of organics and stuff that is tough to find anywhere else. If you're like the rest of us, this place has a lot of weird stuff with high prices. I can't even pronounce "quinoa" and you want me to pay $7.99 for 11.2oz of it? I'm not too impressed, and I'll tell you why. There's an issue in the dairy section. I recently bought their brand name jalapeño cream cheese on 8/5/2018. I should have looked at the date, but I didn't. I opened it when I got home, and it just didn't look right. I put on my glasses to search for the expiration date and it showed a Use by Date of 8/3/2018. I through it out immediately. It was only a little under $3. My bad for not looking, but I wasn't about to go all the way back to return it. I also bought some fat free milk that day. It was supposed to be best by 8/9/2018. This wasn't the Sprouts brand, but I wasn't going to buy that brand after reading one of the reviews on Yelp. This milk was from Dakin Dairy Farms. They didn't have a date later than that from this particular dairy farm on 8/5/2018. It started tasting sour on 8/8. My husband through it away on 8/9 because it was totally sour. I've never had this issue with any other grocery store in the area. Stay away from the dairy department. Yes, I could have returned it and spoke with a manager about it. But, shouldn't these expirations be checked regularly? I'm not going to speculate as to why my cream cheese was already expired, or why the milk soured before the expiration date. I'm just not going to shop for dairy anymore at this store. I'll end on a positive note. I do like the sausages that they sell in the deli section. They have a very nice variety of many different types of sausages. I also like the Mallow Oats from Mom's Best Cereals, which they didn't have on the shelf this time. That one had a great taste for anyone who is vegan. I'm not, but I thought I'd try it out since I was wanting something healthier that day. It was pretty good. I like their packaged plain brussel spouts. They have a seasoned version which I haven't tried yet. Their bakery department seems to be good. The mini brioche bread was very good, and was made with no preservatives. I may continue to buy those items occasionally if they still have it. This was my 3rd time shopping at Sprouts. I'm not sure I want to go back for a 4th visit after the dairy fiasco. read more

I absolutely LOVE Sprouts. In this part of the world, we're almost forever and a half from Whole Foods or Earth Fare (My #1 Go to), but that doesn't mean that I have to go without. Everything from Jackfruit to dragon fruit, and all things Zevia, Sprouts has it going on. What really did it for me though? Was this past weekend when I was looking for some steaks. Yeah, they had a 25% off the packaged stuff, but I needed some 8oz cuts and was able to get 4 beautiful steaks cut fresh. OMG. Those NY Strips were to die for... I digress. What I love is that there are a lot of "small" items to be found here too as well. Everything from whole allspice to Jerk seasoning. Teas, Bulk Coffees, and cold pressed juices. I have been shopping at this sprouts location for over 2 years. No issues with the service or products until recently. Ever since the previous manager Matt has left this location customer service and product quality and appeal has suffered. For example, after I had purchased groceries for my family of 4 I got home to realize that the sell by dates on two separate items had expired. The following day I was in the area for unrelated errands and returned to see if I could exchange the exited products for new stock, of course the lovely lady at the register obliged. However, when I attempted to ask for a manager or supervisor to question why two different product from two different brands were both out of date, I was treated by a man named Julio. After some back and forth, and putting up with some much undeserved attitude, Julio informed me that he didn't care to discuss the matter further and to take my exchange or be refunded. Overall, the quality and attitude of this store and its employees have gone downhill over the last year or so and I will no longer continue to shop at this location. read more

Went into sprouts to get my husband some healthy snacks! He is deployed and I needed help finding his favorite snack mix that I can normally find at my local grocery store in California. A nice man who works at sprouts asked if he could help and I explained to him my husband is deployed and I was looking for his favorite snack mix -attempted to explain what's in it and he helped me find a sprouts version and then proceeded to tell me not to worry about paying for it and to thank my husband for his service. The good.... I purchased some Sea Scallops and a pound of cod fish. Then over to the Deli. American cheese was on sale so I bought a pound. Then I grabbed a half Gallon of whole milk, and a few other things. This was all on April the 28th. I went straight home and put everything away. That night my son and I had the scallops and they were great. The plan was to have the Cod on Sunday. The bad,So when I opened the package of Cod fish it smelled strong of ammonia. So bad I had to discard it.... Fast forward to today May 3rd. I took the milk out to have a coffee after dinner tonight. Opened it for the first time and poured it into the cup..... chunks. Totally disgusted with this place. The date on the Milk May 8th again unopened and today is the 3rd. I will never go there again, NEVER. read more

I had an issue with this store over some meat that was PROCESSOR -packaged, NOT STORE-HANDLED or CUT. Brought the food in question back to the store and met Philip, the store manager. He went above and beyond to make amends for my time and trouble. This is what customer service and respect is all about ! Store is super clean, many unique items, produce is second to none. Baked goods, bulk items, all very well priced and fresh ! I live a fair distance away, and still make the trip to the store when I can. Today I had a disappointing experience at Sprouts, Lithia. Me and my disabled mother visited this establishment, we turned to walk down the snack isle, and an employee was behind us. She said "excuse me " and continued to mop the isle that we were walking down. She kept going and wouldn't stop.. me and my mom had to frantically speed out of the isle and she kept following behind us with it ! Honestly this was completely disrespectful and she showed no regard for us as customers. Nobody was kind to us at all and I felt like I was at Walmart. read more

We used to shop here when it first opened, and the food was good. We decided to go get a vegetable tray, pasta salad, and coleslaw last weekend for a party. However, I was advised by my friends at the party that the pasta salad and coleslaw were sour. We literally bought the food on our way to the party. Sprouts is still relatively new to the Tampa Bay region but I am enjoying seeing their markets pop up around the area. I began comparing regular and sale prices to Publix (right across the street) and it was surprising to see repeatedly that Sprouts has the better price. The staff is helpful, the store is clean and on Wednesday's you can enjoy shopping between both the previous and upcoming sales prices. I like to come in every other Wednesday, they have a great selection of speciality items I can't get at Walmart or Publix. read more
