The system I chose also included automation and so I added some items over the next couple of days and we all love it. I also ended up getting a surveillance system. I have friends that have security cameras that do an okay job and I know that I could find something cheaper than the professional cameras that I bought. I believe I could have even gotten some of the cheaper cameras through Secure 1 but I chose the better quality system. The reason is that in the last 3 years, I've had 3 experiences where someone was caught on video (once hitting our car in a parking lot, once vandalizing by kids, and once breaking and entering where the person was actually targeting my daughter) (and no, I don't live in a bad areas). Each time, the cameras caught our perps on camera but the camera quality was too bad to positively id the car or the person to a point where the police could do anything. If someone comes into my house again, I want to make sure that I know who they are and what they look like. I'm not settling for a poor quality camera and feeling that you just watched someone get away with a crime against you and there is nothing you can do about it. I appreciate the advice and input that I received from Henry. I appreciate that he was so quick to get my house to a point where we feel secure and I appreciate that he made sure that the job was done and complete to our satisfaction.
