First we discussed our goals for the project and he put together a solid plan with really good recommendations. Chad was flexible in trying to find a home for our networking rack and worked with the designer and contractor to determine the best spot. There was a lot of work done during the installation, but Chad and the team made it look easy. He walked us through the best speaker and TV placement. He also worked with us on determining the best spot for new Wi-Fi access points to improve signal throughout the house. Chad took care of all the inventory and brought it to the house when construction was complete and they could start. Besides all of the installation knowledge, one of the best things that Chad does is the post-installation videos. I had purchased the wrong equipment, wired my house wrong, and installed a versa box which left a hole in my fireplace (all because Tollbrothers had rushed me through the process or frankly gave me the wrong info to start). Johann never acted frustrated that he was dealing with a less than ideal situation. He never showed frustration with the situation, but simply offered me astute work-arounds and solutions. It's obvious that he takes pride in his work and his craft. You can tell he truly enjoys finding solutions and making customers happy. Moreover, it was obvious that Johann takes great pride in the incredible team he has built. Communication between him and all his team members was seamless. Each of the four members that showed up for the install were not only knowledgeable, but they were also kind and respectful. They treated my house with care, cleaned up any messes from the install, and asked if there was anything else they could do to help. Not once did they make me feel rushed for asking questions. They worked in coordination with our painting and drywall company, coming multiple times to make their job easier and to minimize the time we had to live with paint and mess from the popcorn removal. The smart use of technology meant that there where no new wires or holes in our walls. Not only did we get some great new technology, but also saved money over a more traditional installation. I received inconsistent responses until September 4, 2024, when I had to repeatedly call and text. Eventually, their Denver office dismissed me, claiming they no longer service my camera system, despite having replaced the cameras just three months prior. They even texted me that my camera system would be available soon. Now, they say they have no cameras because my system is "too old," even though it's a brand new Lorex system installed in 2023. After a month of inquiries, I received a sarcastic comment from the person responsible for ordering cameras, stating that they no longer service such old models. Why provide me with misleading information for an entire month? How can you claim not to service them when you just did three months ago? I strongly advise against doing business with them; you will only encounter frustration. I have text message evidence of our communication and wish I could have recorded our phone call, as it was both disrespectful and unprofessional.
