Of course you cannot hear your phone because the alarm is going off. If you haven't answered in 30 seconds, they have already dispatched the police. Once it shows that the user disarms the alarm within the first two minutes, they don't call back to see if all is well and to cancel the police. I had this situation happen. I accidentally set off the alarm and I immediately called and explain that I set the alarm off accidentally and give them the code. They assured me that they had canceled any dispatch. They didn't bother to call the police to cancel it and the police showed up at my house saying that the alarm company had dispatched them. When there are false alarms that involve police dispatch you can be fined. I called and confronted one of the dispatchers and she said that it wasn't their responsibility to cancel a dispatch even if the homeowner turns off the alarm right away. I am going to immediate cancel my monitoring and find a service that has the intelligence to reach out if an alarm is canceled by the homeowner within a matter of two to three minutes to see if all is well before dispatching the police.

The crew who came out were very friendly and professional and took time to listen to what I was requesting to make our AV system work exactly like we want it to. Most importantly, they didn't try to up-sell me on anything. They did exactly what I was asking of them, and everything works perfectly now in the way that we wanted. I only wish I had called them out a long time ago. I would highly recommend them to help with any AV needs. They're not the cheapest option, but with most things in life you get what you pay for. When we decided to upgrade our home security system, we wanted to ensure we didn't have a repeat of…read morethe bad experience we had the first time around. We checked out three companies and Al and Justin were the only company willing to stop by after a job they were working on. They listened to what we wanted and Al (owner) provided a bid the following day. After evaluating the other two bids, it was clear we needed to go with DFWCVS. Not just because of price, but service, care, good communication and quality equipment. Al and Justin arrived on time to do the install and set to work. Since we were replacing the entire system and moving some of the cameras to better locations (thank you Al), they were around all day. They worked hard and I could tell, they worked well together. Al kept us informed at all times on where they were with the install. There was one small hiccup when Justin slipped in the attic and accidentally caused some damage to our kitchen ceiling. Justin and Al felt so bad about the accident, but we kept telling them, it was an accident and we were thankful nobody got hurt. Al took action and worked on getting a repairman to come over to access the damages. Luckily, we have a neighbor that owns his own painting company and he came over and gave Al a bid. The repair work was finished a few days later. You couldn't tell it was ever damaged . Al and Justin were finishing up some work for us and were relieved to see how well it had turned out.
