I'm Here for a concert. Never again. Over $300 for 2 adults and 2 kids , there are only portapotties, it's on a giant hilly field that gets dark, people walking around smoking weed and drunk everywhere tripping over your chairs, and parking was a nightmare and is extra $. I had a handicapped placard and was told I could park closer however they wouldn't put me closer even though there were spots available. No communication on which line to wait on. We already had our tix and spend at least 10 min on the wrong line because no one told us. The 3 Food truck lines were outrageously long and slow. My husband tried to get food 3 times and the lines never moved. He never ate. I could go see concerts in Madison square garden for these prices and have access to proper toilets , proper seating and concessions. I can't believe I drove over 3 hours for this. read more

This is a beautiful place! From the great guitars on the walls, the beautiful lighting and the timber built building, this place screams, come in and relax. We enjoyed drinks and appetizers for our first visit. I am not a sweet wine fan, but they have a nice dry red on the menu. The house made hard root beer was yummy. The size of the pretzel, shocked the whole table. The beer cheese was to die for! Definitely will be back when I am back in the area! read more

The food was delicious and came out piping hot, but by the time it got to our table we had waited nearly three hours for it. Our server did her best to accomodate us but there appeared to be a severe understaffing problem as there were many, many large parties seated in the winery and only four servers on the floor, and it took forever for us to get anything - including water refills and napkins. Even when the staff were told that a member of our dining party had a time sensitive event that he now had to leave for, it took 20 additional minutes for him to get his burger and have it put in a box. The owners came to our table a few times, but only offered excuses for the slow service, reprimands for our server (who was great), and apparently did not intend to take anything off our check to accomodate for the unacceptable wait time until we specifically asked. They did not come to our table when it was time to discuss and settle the check, and instead sent a DIFFERENT server over to ask how long we had waited, what our experience had been like, and what we wanted taken off our bill. We were told that the owners would not be out to talk to us again - and never received an apology for the poor dining experience before leaving. Would not recommend this place, especially if you have only allotted a specific time frame for your meal! read more

This is my third time eating here. The service is amazing all the times I have eaten here. And the food is always cooked very well and very tasteful. I had the salmon and cheesecake tonight the salmon was cooked to perfection and the cheesecake was so delicious too. And the place looks amazing on the inside too. read more

Summer 2023 Concert Series, there to see the iconic Night Ranger! They do a great job, full blown stage, awesome sound, phenomenal facilities. This is a secret diamond, I'll be coming back for more shows in 2024. And the wine is very good, tried that and the craft beer. You've got to see this place to believe it!!! read more

This is a great little winery next to a nice beer brewery. We are traveling through and wanted to stop. Although the wines were not varietals that we like, the place is nice and clean and easy to get to, park etc. The tasting room is a bit sterile from a decor standpoint...but, a clever way to present their wines. Pricing was reasonable, just wished they has a few real dry whites and red without all the flavors. Every wine I had had a very heavy mouthfeel. I think this if typical of the region. All wine is so specific to taste, you should check it out for yourself. read more

This was a great little local winery to grab a glass, or two. We decided to sip a glass while in the area seeing family for the holidays. The tasting room was very nice and modern, as well as spacious for friends and family to join. The server was very nice and gave a lot of details and insight into the wine we enjoyed. I can't speak to how good the wine is because I was there for a concert. I will say the grounds are very attractive. As for a concert venue, I was not the least bit disappointed. Make no mistake, this venue is in the middle of nowhere, but that's the charm. Nice stage, lawn seating, small crowds. I saw Rodger Hodgson of Supertramp there and loved it. The gates opened at 5pm (the lines to enter run through the vineyard) We arrived at 4:30 or so and paid $5 for parking. We were through with seats set up a couple rows from the stage by 5:30 for an 8pm show Spyglass is not lacking for food or drink once inside the concert area. They sold their own wine of course, but it was a very very hot afternoon, so I opted for beer. Spyglass is touting the coming of there own micro brew called Three Beards. There is a beautiful house on the hill where it will be housed, but for now they had a beer tent with outside beers. Beers ran from $4-$6 with a fair variety. It was so hot that day, that all things considered, they were cold. They also had wine slushies and sold chilled bottle wine. There was plenty of food options for everyone. Gourmet Grilled Cheese, gyros, sausage, definitely something for everyone. I wholly recommend seeing a concert there. One of the best atmospheres I've experienced in a long time. read more

This business is not trustworthy and the owner is irresponsible and crooked. I followed instructions provided on their website for a refund of two tickets to a concert Postponed to 2022. Per their e mail instructions I mailed the wine receipt and tickets back and received confirmation via USPS that they were delivered. After no refund, I made 5 phone calls and was assured that the Owner Tom Webb would process my refund.. There was no response to 2 follow-up emails. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the local magistrate. Stay away, this guy is a fraud. read more

Gorgeous space. Plenty of parking! Super great service. The wine selection is ridiculous and they have taps with PA craft brews available as well. These folks put on huge concerts throughout the year - coming soon they have the marshal Tucker band, Chicago, Bush, working on Alive Cooper, and a bunch of other well know bands. This place looks like it could hold a crazy fun festival! The wine! The real reason to visit. Reds, drys, sweets, blends, desserts, an amazing selection and all unique and delicious. If you have not received a refund for a concert PLEASE write a review. Owner is a thief!!!!! I also have been trying for months to get my refund for a cancelled concert. Even stopped in person. Got this huge lie about the last four digits of my credit card being the same as another customer and that was why I never received a credit to my card. Said if that didn't work call him and he would send me a check. Guess what? No credit. Called and was told he would send a check. Guess what? No effing check. Tom Webb is a liar and a thief. We wish we hadn't stopped here. Pulling up, the place looks weird because it looks like you're walking into a persons house. We had to stand around for 5-10 minutes because the staff was no where to be found. If they had been busy this would have been understandable, but we were one of only 2 groups in there at the time. The staff seemed annoyed that we were there. As soon as he gave us our wine he went into the back room and sat on his phone. What a ripoff! We bought VIP tickets for a show at $250 per ticket plus fees, totaling $530. From the beginning it was a disaster. We watched as GA people got in before we did. When I asked why VIP people could only enter at the VIP entrance (furthest from the stage) but GA could enter at either, I got barked at viciously by a former prison guard who was volunteering there. That set the tone for the rest of the night. We couldn't find the promised food and drink, even after asking several people who worked there. The VIP tent was far away from the stage and of course literally no one sat there. They allowed people to put chairs close to the stage, causing a very dangerous situation. People were tripping over chairs after it got dark. I also kept tripping on a weirdly placed conduit sticking up out of the ground all night. No free food and drink, no early entry percs, no nothing but VIP parking furthest away from the stage. When I contacted the venue, I was told I would be called by the owner. That never happened. I've read reviews elsewhere where people have said the same thing. What a horrible way to conduct a business. And their wine isn't that great, either. Never, never again. Tom Webb, if you're reading this, you really need to clean up your act. read more

I chose to have my tickets refunded for Jeff Dunham Concert due to multiple rescheduling and a conflict. I had tried to work with Tom (The owner) to do so over the last year. I personally gave my tickets to Tom and he failed to refund me my money. I called his business over 20 times to try and rectify the issue and Tom blatantly ignored my calls. I ultimately had to sue him. After a default judgement, because Tom didn't enter an appearance and or show at the hearing. He then failed to pay requiring me to file a writ of execution which allows the constable to seize property to auction off to satisfy the judgement. Once the constable went out Tom did write him a check however, it costed him over 350 dollars in court fees for his arrogance. Also wasted my time and efforts over the last year. This became a matter of principal for me. I am not the only one who had to sue him to recover monies. So for those interested in a refund you can simply file a civil case against his name and add DBA (Doing Business As) Spyglass Ridge Winery. Quite simple and the court was helpful with the process. Tom, since you won't return my calls I'll let you know that you were deceitful and I have lost respect for you and your business. Myself, friends, and family that use to patronize your business will no longer do so after the way you conducted yourself. read more

It was difficult to find, but well worth it. The tasting was free, and there were about 20 varieties. The prices were great as well. We bought 5 bottles for about $65. Don't use your GPS to find them... You'll end up somewhere else. From Sunbury PA take 61South, turn right onto Route 890. Drive about a mile then turn left onto Plum Creek Road. The winery will be on the left about a mile down. read more

I absolutely love this vineyard. They have events all the time; Anything from concerts, to shelter pet fundraisers, to Celtic festivals. Spyglass is an amazing vineyard and has great wine. I highly recommend the Steuben!! The owners are super nice and very personable. read more

Celtic Fest- August, 16, 2014 Five Stars for the many wineries in attendance and availability of multiple types of beer at the Celtic Fest. Wide variety of vendors, also a plus. One Star for the cost and long line to enter the grounds. Expect to drop at least $65 a couple to park, get in the door, and to get your beer or wine glass. Then add on cost of beer, food, bottles of wine, etc. They need at least two entrance lines early in the day to accommodate the crowd. There was very little benefit ( about $3) of buying tickets online. You had to wait in the same long line with those who did not pre-purchase tickets. Musical performances up to about 2:00 pm were less than average. Full tents blocked the stage..grrr. Not sure we will attend next year.... read more

Giving 4 stars because of the events they hold there, not necessarily for the wine. The place is 1/2 winery 1/2 events center, although all of the larger events are held outside. The wines are mostly sweet wines which I don't drink, but the few dry wines that were available were average. Not bad, not great, just OK. People seem to love the sweet wines although the folks drinking them don't really seem to be wine experts. The people working there are great, the owner Tom is excellent, and the events they hold are varied and well presented. They do some Celtic events which are great. I'd definitely recommend stopping in for an event but probably not just to try the wine unless you are a serious sweet wine fan. read more

If u like real sugary wines then i guess this is your type of winery, i bought the tom red? ( Not that memorable) We were there for a concert the line to get into the "field of mud" parking area took over 45minutes in bumper to bumper traffic in which u have people going to the bathroom right there in the field cause there r no porta potties! Come on.....sold out concert, invest in one Mr. Farmer Brown! The rules read no glass in the lot but people had bottles but seemed respectful of their trash clean up. The line to get into the concert another 3/4 of a mile long line that was moving at snail pace. We opened our chairs back up at the bottom of the hill n waited out the crowd a bit. When we did decide to get in line an employee came up to us n gave us bands to use a "second" entrance that cut thru the fields by the campers. Security patted down my folding chair bag but not my regular bag that had all my stuff in it(??????). The sound isn't bad but no jumbo screen to get a good view of the band if u happen to be further away from the stage. read more

my wife and i were at the Styx concert on the 27th saturday. we had a great time .the band was awesome it was the first time to see Styx. we have also enjoyed the Celtic fest for the last two years. the wine is always good and we are looking forward to next season read more
