    Mushroom and Bacon Cheese Spatzle
    Tyler T.

The spatzle here is delicious! I came a little early so I saw the trays of spatzle they had, and I assume they take that and fry it and add cheese and other good stuff to the top of it, cause that's what it tasted like. I had the Mushroom and Bacon Cheese Spatzle and it was delicious. Nice and crispy, but still having that soft texture of the spatzle. The one drawback though, was that when I ran out of the toppings for the spatzle, the spatzle got really boring really fast, just cause there was nothing more to add to it and it was like eating a plain tasting carb (albeit a fried one).

Wonderful!! The cashier was so friendly and explained the menu to us. The menu is not in English, but he was so helpful and friendly. I got the rocket pesto spatzle (5.50€) and would highly recommend. My boyfriend got the normal cheese spatzle but added ham and mushrooms. He enjoyed his meal as well. Good value, very filling, and good service! I would come back :)

Since my friends and I are visiting Berlin for such a short time, we figured we should have some authentic, inexpensive German food while we were here. Spatzle Club fit the bill and was very satisfying and filling. The staff was very friendly and kindly explained the menu to us in English. I had the beef spatzle and my friends had the mushroom with cheese and the tomato sauce with cheese. While I did enjoy my spatzle, the best one ordered among us was the tomato sauce and cheese. The only thing I would caution is you should try to get there early as they were out of their homemade spatzle by about 14:30.

This place was fantastic!! Best meal in Berlin so far on our week vacation. Staff was just soooo nice and made us feel immensely welcome. Did a great job on explains what he was preparing for us and it hit the spot perfectly.

We came here after having been turned away by an Indonesian restaurant that was "full for the night". We are so glad that fate brought us here instead of that Indonesian restaurant!! What were we even thinking anyway -- forget the Indonesian food, get the local specialities!! Ordered the schnitzel as well as the meatballs and both were executed perfectly. Schnitzel was hot and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside -- not overly salty either. Meatballs were juicy and packed with flavor from the minced onions that they had mixed in. The beer (we ordered a Pilsner) was the best that we had tried in all of the Berlin and Dresden restaurants that we visited. I believe it is from some small private brewery affiliated with the restaurant somehow. Whatever they are doing, they are doing it right, so definitely order the house beer. Super cozy seating (you'll probably be sharing a table with other guests) and packed all night long but amazing vibes and casual comfort food. Would come back if I ever visit Berlin again!

We tried to go to a nearby Greek place but they were full and kind of rude too. We walked over here and the place was empty at 6:30 pm so a bit worried. No need. The draft Pilsner was very excellent and the food was outstanding and reasonably priced. We got pork schnitzel and meatballs and it was really very tasty. Would recommend!

The asparagus came with a great butter and breadcrumbs sauce which drizzled on the potatoes was amazing. As silly as it sounds the boiled potatoes were the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked through but not mushy and they kept their shape. Pretzel was excellent as was the pork schnitzel, pounded thin and perfectly fried. We finished with apple strudel with ice cream, which was just ok, maybe a 3 for me. The waitress was quite surly and we had to chase her down to order after sitting there for 15 minutes without anyone coming to the table. That was the only real downside, though I noticed other tables were getting served quickly, so maybe it's a one-off thing only. Restaurant is quite big with lots of seating, many beer options and nice clean bathrooms downstairs as well.

Walking in the door gives you the feeling of dining in a Bavarian beer hall where there are plenty of locals enjoying the atmosphere. For us tourists, photos are included for most of the menu selections. I tried their signature dish: knuckle with cabbage and a potato dumpling. Even the half portion was huge! The veal schnitzel and steak entrees were also delicious. My server spoke little English, so knowledge of German would be a plus if dining here. The restaurant seems to be known for their beer and has quite a selection, however, a smaller wine menu is also available. I would definitely recommend making a reservation or coming early. As my friends and I were leaving, the line for entry was out the door.

The first thing I wanted to ensure was that this restaurant accepted Apple Pay. I asked one of the waiters inside if they took Apple Pay, and he looked annoyed. When it was confirmed they took Apple Pay, I said, "Okay, I'd like to dine here then." I was a solo diner, and he said, "Okay, well, sit wherever you want." Once I sat down, I began to peruse the menu. Another waiter came over to take my order and began speaking German to me. I told him that I unfortunately don't speak German, and he got annoyed and kept speaking German. I ended up pointing to the items I wanted to order, but already wasn't feeling great about my experience. I ordered the Pork Vienna Schnitzel, and it was the most disappointing meal I have ever had. To be frank, I've had better Vienna Schnitzel in the United States at German-themed restaurants. The breading on the Vienna schnitzel was very puffy and fell off. There was no flavor to the food at all, and it was very bland. I simply ate the food out of sheer hunger, since I hadn't eaten since 7 AM that morning, and it was almost 2 PM by then. I finally paid and left, but I did not feel welcomed in the facility, and the food was a bust. Hopefully, other American tourists have better experiences here than I did.
