They diagnosed the problem immediately, and drove that night to pick up the part from another marina out of town, it was fixed and on the water by 10am July 4. it saved the family weekend. This is a Grade A, world class, first class experience - thank you! We could not be happier with our decision to join. The children started in the pool and hot tub while the dads got the boat and dock orientation. Moms were chilling by the pool, enjoying conversation and pool side beverages. Our boat was brand new, super clean and ready. It had all the modern features including navigation, mood lights and a wireless phone charger. The dock side changing room, showers and bathroom are super clean, well appointed and require a members' code to use. Gunnar and the dock team helped us get on board and leave the dock. We cruised directly to Meredith and loved seeing the town from the water. Then back to Akwa then out again past Governor's Island, the Witches and into the Broads. We had the lake mostly to ourselves and everyone loved the views and quiet engine. Then we sped back to Akwa for conversations, cocktails, dinner, swimming in the pool, playing volleyball, bocce and the hot tub. Our Recommendations: Lobster Roll & Calamari. First of all, there is public docking long enough to fit a 43' boat, which is nice for us. You walk across a beach (where you could stop and take a dip) and a few people were playing ladder ball. Up the stairs is a pavilion style restaurant with exposed beams and a bar made of a sailboat! The craftsmanship is very nice. They had delicious sangria and someone in our party had a haddock sandwich, which was tasty. There was more staff on than patrons, so service was quick! This place has a really good vibe.

Get Ready, Get Set, Get Elevated!…read more Bottom Line Up Front: This is our second year using Elevated Wake and once again,e had a wonderful, enjoyable, vigorous and "elevated" time for a good price. For four hours, pre-teens to "teens in thier fifties" did it all; water skiing, swimming, wake surfing and "hyper-tubing." The Good: One word -- Captain Pat! Ok that is two words, but one name never to forget. Captain Pat was an experienced boat Captain and water sports instructor (has been doing this for 30 years) and knows in the Lake well. He got us underway on time, was prepared, and was a delightful host, instructor and DJ. We had three new water-skiers ages ranging from pre-teen to "salty" adult that Pat successfully got up on skis within a few tries. We had one new wake surfer that he had up within two tries. Pat was patient, experienced, and very insightful; he knew what to say and how to say it to each participant, literally and figuratively, and even-keeled. As far as tubing goes, with a few hand signals, the tubers are in control, and the speeds range from slow and steady, fast and furious, to ludicrous speed. Fun was had by all in our group. Four hours on the water was the sweet spot for our group of nine. We started on time and finished promptly on time. Captain Pat picked us up and dropped us off at our location on the lake. His company also provides services other lakes in the area, and offer boat rentals. The Bad: There was nothing bad! From start to finish, we had a wonderful time -- Pat was a great captain and host. He let us choose the music for each participant and he entertained all our questions. The Ugly: Other than my slalom ski attempts, there was nothing ugly! I highly recommend Captain Pat and Elevated Wake Company! If you find yourself in Lake Winnipesaukee, this is definitely an enjoyable way to spend a few hours. Came back from the Miami Boat Show and walked into Erica Blizzards showroom in Lanconia NH we felt very welcome. Big Smiles from all, from their spotless boat yard to the amazing showroom. We purchased a beautiful new Chris Craft Launch 27. Our home in Meredith has a private slip, but we choose to store it winter and summer at Lakeport Marine. I have told my wife, sorry I didnot know of this powerboat stuff 20 years ago, sure is easy and alot of fun ! There was literally everything, shirts, stickers, postcards, hats, nightlights, ceramic tiles, mugs, ornaments, and more. The two women working were so nice and we had such a great conversation, and one even gave us recommendations for more things to do nearby. There's also a small museum that's really informative and a 20 minute video available, but we were just passing through so didn't watch it. There are two trails, we did the 1.7 mile one to the human-made loon nest and it was such a beautiful hike with songbirds, mossy rocks, and gorgeous foliage everywhere. We even saw an osprey, no loons probably because of the weather and it wasn't quite nesting season. Totally worth the stop, I loved it and will definitely be following them on social media and joining their email list.

This…read moreis no small part to the efforts of Amy Tripp, the BOD and the yearly staff which seems to continually get better. The boats for the young sailors has increased in size and quantity. The facility is tight and perfectly set up. The boats are immediately adjacent to the water. They are in very good shape. The house is just right for the current size of the program and the new outside tents are perfect for the lesson groupings. The Covid precautions are smart, sensible and reassuring. An added dose of common sense this year is found in the staggered drop off and pick up times. Every day has been easy in and easy out. The instructors are down to earth and knowledgeable. They herd cats and keep the kids competitiveness to a perfect mild roar. They make sure the kids are having fun! Isabella is the second child I have put through a summer session of sailing at the lake and she loves it. Truth be told she has asked when it would start since school let out. An important note is that unlike many other sailing schools they keep it at 2 to boat. This means, quite simply, that everyone actually gets to/has to sail, not just ride in boats. This is very important because sailing is best learned by doing. If your in the lakes region, go for it. Be sure to sign up well in advance as spots book quickly.
