They helped me methodically address the chaos by assigning me tasks one table at a time, which broke things up and made it feel manageable. As expected, the time frame was not enough to finish both spaces, but instead of cutting things short or requesting to bump up the cost, they expertly managed the time, accomplishing about 90% of everything and setting me up for success with the rest.
