Worst customer service ever. Does not even merit the one star. They told us to "come early in the morning and we'll get the tires changed quickly." We live 1/2 hour drive from town so my husband got up early and arrived there at 8:30 am. They said, "It will take at least 2 hours." He didn't have the time so he came home. We waited a week and then called first to ask if they can get the tires changed that day. "Sure!" they said, "Come on in!" They never asked what kind of car it was, just assured us they could finish that day. We drove 2 cars in to town just in case we'd have to leave it overnight. My husband asked the tech when he dropped the car off, "Are you sure you can change these tires? This is an EV and you have to be careful of the battery on the lift. Have you ever done this kind of car before?" The tech answered, "I have never personally done this kind of car before but I'm sure we can do it." A couple hours passed with no call from them, so with errands done we returned home. About a half hour after being home we got a call from the tech saying, "We can't change your tires because we don't have the right size wrench." Now, a good customer service person would have weighed the prospect of just buying a wrench (a business expense write-off) against getting business from us of changing out our snow tires 2x/year. He then would have called us to apologize for taking so long and told us when the car would be ready. But no, he just said, "Come and get your car." We called back and explained to the manager, Ethan Hula, that it's a 1 hr round trip for us, so could they please just take the car for us the 1 mile down the road to another vendor who had agreed to change the tires? "No", Hula said, "We've never done that (the website advertises courtesy rides.). Call the other vendor to come get it." Unbelievable. We called the other vendor and they were happy to drive down the road and pick up the car for us. I really hope they noticed the wrench problem before putting the car on the lift because at this point I'm not confident about their competence in just putting that car on a lift without damaging the battery. Never once did anyone at Square Tire apologize for the poor communication or inconvenience, much less offer to make anything better. We will never again use this Square Tire or any other. Their customer service is horrendous. They don't seem to care to honor their word, nor whether they get business or not. Hard to believe they stay in business this way. Don't reward people like this with your patronage. Wish I had read the other reviews first. read more

It has been months since this happened... But the experiences of another have reminded me of the situation that I experienced and I'm still ticked when I think about it. After the way I was treated the last time I went to Square Tire, I will NEVER be walking into that place again and I will be sure to prevent anyone I can from going there. The guy's name is Adnan and he took on a shamelessly boorish attitude after I got frustrated with him as he seemingly just COULD NOT comprehend the problem I was describing and the situation I was in at the time. It quickly became apparent that he absolutely just DID NOT CARE, either. I had walked in just before closing time. (Yeah. Sorry. I had no choice, really.) It was rainy and wet outside and I was soaked/dirty after having taken a tire off of a vehicle when the bead popped. All I was asking him to do was put sealant on the bead and put air into the tire so that I could get a stranded vehicle off of the road for the night. I believed that I had reasonable expectation that they could handle this simple task. But he outright refused. He came up with any and every excuse as to why he could NOT perform this easy task. This is especially infuriating when taking into account that we were literally planning to be there the very next day to replace ALL FOUR tires anyway. That absolutely didn't matter to him, though. I finally started walking out and, just as I set one foot out the door, he decided to make a smart-ass comment - nice and loud. (I guess it didn't matter to him that there were other customers there who were already uncomfortable with the situation...) He just couldn't let me walk out and away from the situation. That's ALL he had to do. I dropped the tire, turned around and stared at him in disbelief. I was BEYOND angry. I demanded the corporate phone number. He smuggly told me that they weren't a corporate business. I then demanded the owner's name and phone number. He scribbled it down - all the while laughing at me saying, "Fine. Whatever. It doesn't matter. His name is Scott Eldridge and he won't care. I'm like a son to him. He'll just ignore you and side with me anyway." (As close to verbatim as possible.) I can't stand that kind of brazenly disrespectful attitude out of someone...and I told him that. I was incredulous as I told him that his attitude was garbage and that he had absolutely no business working with customers anywhere. His attitude only got worse... Words were exchanged and he eventually demanded that I leave or he would call the police. I just left in disbelief of what had just happened. You know what's hilarious about this, though? We went up to Walmart after that. It was late and they were closing soon, too. But a woman in the shop - who, in conversation, told us that she is 65 years of age - fixed us right up. She even went to the trouble to remove a nail she found for us and patched it. She said it was late and so easy that she didn't even want to charge us - all with a smile. Think about that for a moment... A 65-yo woman - at Walmart - was happy to do what younger man couldn't/wouldn't manage to do. This was some time in the later half of last year I believe. I never could get through to Mr. Eldridge. He didn't return my requests for a callback to discuss the situation. I no longer have interest in dealing with them; the damage is done. read more

This place is a fuking joke !! Fukin D bags were supposed to put tires on a vehicle i service and couldnt get some of the lug nuts off and told me I had to come back to get the truck and get them off myself . Well when they put the wheels and tires back on they could get off the incompetent retards forgot to tighten the lugs nuts on the rear wheel and the truck went back in service today without the new tires and my guy calls me to tell me he was doing 70 mph with 3 men in the car all with large families and they realized there fuking tire was about to fall off missing 2 lug nuts and the rest about to fall off. Called the store and got the run around lieing dio shit tht answers the phone claims hes a manager till he realizes I'm about to kick the managers ass then tells me hes just a service writer and refuses to give me corporate number . If I could give it minus 5 stars I would. Took my vehicle in to get a head light bulb. Quoted me $30 for part and labor. 30 minutes later they called and it would be more as they would have to remove my bumper. After a hour I went in and $104 later it was done. I questioned the price and he said he gave me a break in cost. Wow, really? I will never go back. Ever!! read more

Go anywhere else. ANYWHERE. We bought a private-party used vehicle with the understanding that it needed 4 new tires, an alignment, a tune up and fluid flush/change. I was totally ready to spend $1,000+ getting my car up to snuff. A few days before my planned maintenance, I had a tire completely deflate on me, leaving me stranded. After I got the tire off, I got a ride to Square. I thought I could get a quick patch so that we could get the car from where it was sitting on a jack, back to Square for all the aforementioned service. Instead, we were told that at 6pm they were no longer taking jobs because they close at 7. Our previous experience here lead us to believe they closed at 9. We asked if the counter person would mind putting air in the tire so we could see where the leak was - after much argument, he finally did. It's about 10° outside, and with this flat tire, I was going to have to walk to and from work the next day, so I was pretty insistent. Turns out the tire had popped off the bead. He could have simply sealed it and given it back to us, and we would have come in the next day for over $1,000 in service. Rather than helping us in an emergency situation, he repeated over and over that he would not service this tire because it was too bald. I have no idea what the lack of tread might have had to do with sealing the bead because he wouldn't explain that to me. He just repeated over and over that he would not service that tire, and instructed us to leave. It was clear from the moment I walked in that this man had absolutely no intention to help us. Words were exchanged, and I took my tire elsewhere. For the record, the next service shop took a nail out of the tire, patched it wonderfully and sealed the tire back to the rim - all for free, all in less than 10 minutes. That service shop will now receive the $1,000+ tire & tune-up job that I had planned to do with Square Tire. Under no circumstances should you rely on this shop's help in a crisis. They don't care, they're incredibly rude and they simply do not know what they're talking about! read more

Horrible service. Horrible customer service. My parents bought a new set of Michelin tires there. Had less than 5000 miles on the tires and the right rear tire blew out. it had a huge hole in the middle of the tire. I used to work at a tire place, so I told them to take it in and that the warranty should cover it. Square tire claimed that the tire ran over something and cut it down and square tire wouldn't cover it. I then asked square tire why they didn't offer my parents a road hazard warranty and they said they don't offer anything like that. My dad went ahead and bought another tire, but not the same model of Michelin because they said they could get that tire in that size anymore. My dad noticed that the car was pulling to the right( which is where the new tire was installed, on the right front) but just thought is was because of the newer, different tire. He finally took it somewhere else and found out the right front was pointing way out and not straight at all with the front end, like they just "eyed" the front alignment, as the new mechanic explained it. Needless to say, neither my parents or myself will ever do business with Square tire ever again. Since then, we have heard many complaints from people around the Fremont area about them. read more

Took car into get the front end aligned because it was pulling. After they got done it was still doing the samething. So had another mechanic look at it. He said there is no way this frontend was aligned as the lower ball joints are bad and the front stabilizer bar link is completely shot. I thought maybe he was just trying to pad his bill took it to dires ford and they confirmed the same thing. Just waste your money going to square tire read more

I made the mistake of buying tires from square tire about 6 months ago and have had nothing but problems with the tires going flat all the time I thought not a problem they offer free tire repair. But Every time I would go in to have my tire fixed it was a 3 hour wait and this time might be the 6th time in 6 months and somehow even with it being fixed 2 weeks ago now tire is no good. The only thing I could see wrong with the tires was the weather cracking all over the tires? I'm not a tire engineer but should this happen after 6 months or is that why the tires are so cheap is because we are getting tires that have been sitting in a ware house for a couple of years? I know most people are just like me and want the best deal on tires but I will NEVER go to square tire for anything. I know I'm not the first or the last complaint this business will get but just thought I would get it out there. Thanks read more
