The guy wants you to pay cash or write a check to his girfriend's name. Says he doesn't have a drivers license and his mother lost his birth certificate. That's what happened the day he showed up with his pregnant girlfriend. I should have sent him back to his momma's house but he seemed nice so I took the bait. I have no idea what this guys real name is the reviews here shows he also goes by the name Eric but he was listed as Ron Squared Away previously. He is thin about 35 5'9 dark short hair, balding and last week had a beard. Claims he has 20 years of experience in tiling but has made some major novice mistakes on our job. First thing we noticed, tiles were actually pressed against each other while there was a space as you went down that same row of tiles. Then the toilet flange was set below the tiles, major problem as any expert will tell you the flange needs to be flush with the tiles or set on the tile. A recessed tile will cause leaking problems which was why we needed to replace the tiles in the first place because the first genius set the flange below the tiles. Then the worst of it was revealed when we looked to see the job from the crawl space. He was supposed to replace the rotted moldy wood sub-floor, said he did it but only part of it was cut out he still left part of the rotted wood. I told him to fix it right and he never responded. I'll post pictures. So I noticed the picture of Eric, must be Ron's brother not the same guy who tiled our bathroom but the number here is the number I've been texting and communicating with so beware folks. These guys are great! I had a problem with my soffit coming off the side of the house. I had just purchased the home and knew I had to get it fixed. I called several roofers and siding companies and all of them either said they don't do repairs or would call me back. None of them called me back. That's when I searched for handyman here in yelp and found these guys. I called in the afternoon and left a voicemail. I had a text come back to me within 15 minutes saying he will call me back. Which he did! I told him my issue and within a few days Ron came out to check it out. It was the day before thanksgiving and we were expecting snow so he climbed up on the roof and tacked it up for me to hold it in place until they could come out and properly fix it. He didn't charge me anything that day. I was shocked at his willingness to help me out in my time of need, even though he couldn't complete the job that day, so I knew I was going to stick with these guys. After the snow cleared up they came back and completely fixed it. Ron even came back a week later to add some sealant and make sure it was holding up well! Talk about awesome service! They gave me a fair price and were honest with me the whole time as to pricing and when they would be available. I highly recommend that if there is something you need fixing that you can't do yourself (I'm a DIY-er but I don't mess with the roof!) to call these guys and see what they have to say.
