On…read moreour scheduled day, I had a few conflicts and Tiffany was happy to reschedule for later in the day, however I was still unable to continue. I know that small business is important in our community and missing appointments can take a hit on profitability, so I cancelled the appointment but paid Tiffany $350 (at $35 per hour, this would have been 10 hours of work--we were only anticipating around 5 hours needed). Tiffany said just to reach out and she would be happy to make a new appointment and refund any payment over the.amount of time she needed to complete the tasks. I reached out a few times to reschedule and Tiffany was unable to secure an appointment. Now, six months later, she is unresponsive and refused to refund any portion of the money I paid. First, she offered to refund $125 and then $175 but then became unresponsive. Truly, she did not commit to any work and has not done any work, therefore she should refund me the full amount. Tiffany also contends there is no contract, however we did have a contract, since U.C.C. states any verbal agreement under $500 is a valid contract. It has been two days and no responses from here. I looked her business up in the Tennessee Business license registry, and unless I am missing something, there is no such registered, tax-paying business under this name or her name. I simply want a refund since she did not do anything.
