I booked the initial cleaning with the commitment for 8 additional cleanings. 2 girls showed up and they did a poor job. They didn't clean any closets (linen, pantry, broom), didn't dust a bunch of things, didn't clean one entire bathroom floor, didn't clean the baseboards. They were supposed to come back today 11-1 and no one showed up. I contacted the company and they were a. Sending the same person who did a poor job yesterday and b. She would be here at 1:15 after I waited around for 2 hours, with no warning they'd miss the window read more

I booked my first cleaning with Sparkle in anticipation for guests coming into town and wanted my home to reflect accordingly. The cleaning team member arrived and I walked her through and noted extra attention on things like baseboards, the shower and bathroom, and noted that everything generally needed a deep clean. Upon returning back I came back to mopped floors and one area of baseboards cleaned. The shower looked as though it had been rinsed with water alone, the bathroom baseboards were not touched and 3 of the 5 tables in my home were visibly untouched. I reached out to customer support for a partial refund which was denied and replaced by a $30 credit for the future. I declined the credit and asked the a team lead come back the next day (accommodating that into the follow day was not a part of my original schedule). I opted to have the cleaners come back the following day to rectify the cleaning effort. They gave me a window of 2-4 and I asked politely for them to come at 4 pm to accommodate the fact that I would be leaving work early to meet them at my home. They called promptly at 1:30 to let me know they were on their way. The replacement cleaner did a great job and I appreciated her patience, however this is not a service I would recommend or use again. read more

I scheduled a preliminary cleaning session, and a single staff member arrived promptly. I must express my admiration for the young lady who was assigned to handle the cleaning duties. Her demeanor was exceptionally pleasant and endearing, which left a positive impression on me. However, it did take her a considerable amount of time to complete the cleaning, and she overlooked several areas. Moreover, there were no lasting personal touches left behind. In the past, I have paid the same price for a team of three girls who efficiently completed the task and added adorable personal touches to the space. If time is not a constraint for you, then the service provided is satisfactory. However, if you expect a thorough cleaning, it is advisable to have a team rather than relying on a single individual. The cleaner showed up with very little supplies and asked to use mine. I paid for three hours based on the corporate website's recommendation, and the cleaner finished in little over an hour. The cleaner was trying to work an additional job to make money, and I respected their tenacity. When I canceled the service, the corporate company charged me close to $180 for the one hour of cleaning I received. Upon emailing them, they wanted me to request a partial refund from the cleaner just trying to make ends meet. This is a terrible example of a corporate company taking advantage of their employees and customers. Stay far far away! read more

We hired Sparkly Cleaning based off of Yelp reviews and were extremely pleased from booking to cleaning! Fast, honest, thorough and efficient communication on the front end was highly appreciated during the booking process. On the morning of the cleaning, the staff was extremely friendly and trustworthy. I felt comfortable leaving them in my home while I left for work with my pup still at the house. They were even nice enough to let him out of his crate before they left so that he wouldn't have to stay cooped up for too long. When I got home I loved finding a truly clean and sparkly apartment! It was a pleasure working with the Sparkly team! Crystal, the owner, was easy to coordinate with on the front end. She was very responsive and helpful in setting up the visit. Stacey, one of the lead techs, was professional, friendly, and thorough. She walked me through her plan of action; she was very systematic. We went room-by-room and talked about expectations. She starts at the ceiling, works her way to the baseboards, and cleans the floors last. Once she was done, we did a post-clean walk through to inspect her work and she left a thank you card on the kitchen table. After Stacey left, Crystal followed up almost immediately to check in regarding the service. Stacey arrived on time and was ready to work. She came fully prepared with all of her tools and was very educated on which product worked best on what surface. In the post-clean walk through, she had some helpful tips on how to clean certain surfaces and prevent future damage. She also loves furbabies and was incredibly kind to our dog and cat. Our cat followed her around while she cleaned and she wasn't phased one bit. I can't recommend them enough. I will absolutely schedule another service in the coming months. 1st and last time w/Sparkly. The cleaning was ok. I am accustomed to a deep cleaning to be more thorough than what I received. There were 3 cleaners that came but 2 left early due to another appointment. I did a quick walkthrough but did not notice the many issues until afterwards. There were several issues: 1. Neither air vents upstairs and downstairs were wiped/dusted 2. None of the base boards were dusted/swept and vacuuming was not done between the carpet and baseboards. We have 2 dogs and hair buildup was not vacuumed. I asked several times if baseboards were included and they said yes, but they weren't cleaned. 3. Fans upstairs were wiped/dusted but not the ones downstairs. 4. The utility closet was asked to be mopped twice and still wasnt completed. I asked the last person left if she mopped and she said yes, but it wasn't as there was still trash behind the trash can. The cleaning resembled a biweekly upkeep cleaning rather than a deep clean and I was very disappointed. For being a new customer paying $270 for a single cleaning, I was expecting the absolute BEST service since they profit from biweekly/monthly continued cleaning service. I unfortunately wont be using Sparkly's again. read more

We hired Sparkly to clean our house after we had moved out so it would be clean for the pictures for the listing. So we did the move in/move out cleaning. I also added a couple of add ons (interior windows, bathroom cabinets, fridge), so the total came out to around $300 (for a 1500 square foot house with three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms). The scheduling was really easy; the company was really responsive to emails! The cleaning itself was okay - they definitely got us a head start on the cleaning. But it wasn't so clean that I didn't still have to put in hours of work afterwards (it needed to be clean clean clean for the photos for the listing). Our biggest worry with the cleaning was that we had cats in the house for years, and we wanted to get as much of the cat hair out of the house as possible for potential buyers. They had cleaned the floors, but there were definitely spots that were missed where I still vacuumed/swept (closets in particular). But the kitchen was well cleaned (they forgot to clean the fridge but refunded the money for that since it was an add on), and the house definitely had that recently cleaned smell when we entered after they left. They definitely helped us out by getting us a head start on the cleaning, and that level of cleaning would definitely be great if it was weekly or biweekly, but it required us a bit more work on our end to get it photography/listing ready! read more

The crew of Val, Katia, and Delaney came to give us an initial/move in clean (even though we were already in the house). We had had scheduling troubles with other companies earlier in the moving process, and they were able to come on fairly short notice. Their arrival time was schedule for 8-9 and I believe they came to the door at about 8:15. They worked efficiently and were able to do our 3200sqft house in only about 2 hours! From scheduling to cleaning, the process was simple, easy, and everyone was so friendly along the way! I've used a handful of cleaning services in the past, but never had an experience that inspired a repeat hire. That has all changed. Sparkly House Cleaning did an amazing job and the Erica and Shawn were the most friendly and accommodating crew I've ever dealt with. We have two dogs and a cat, so I know that can be overwhelming.
