We drive around summer weekends and find fun places to eat. We rolled in here and instantly loved the Squeez Inn. First, the decor is charming and whimsical. Hats drop from the ceiling when patrons enter and exit. There are gnomes and fun tchotchkes to look at everywhere. Service is snappy, helpful, and fantastic. The food is so good. We started with the hot dog rings aka the "Ozarks Calamari." These hot dog rings are deep fried and taste just like the county fair. Dip them in ketchup and mustard and try to not be transported back to a corn dog and fireworks right at the end of a great night at the fair. My husband ordered the Squeez Burger with cheese skirt. The burger is loaded with everything and that cheese skirt...the burnt edges mixed with the burger patty and fixins' man. It's good. I ordered the teriyaki steak sandwich. The bun itself was light and tasty. Nestled into the bun was lettuce and a sweet, teriyaki seasoned steak. This sandwich was delicious. We can wait to take another drive out. So excited to try this local landmark, made a road trip with the kids. The owner worked so hard just coming off surgery and the cheese skirt on the burger was excellent. It is worth trying and we'll worth the trip to Stockton. The restaurant has lots of nice touches like the floating hats and gnomes all over. My daughter liked the mushrooms in front. To much hype on the place, gave it 2 try's won't get a third from me. Food was ok, but the person waiting was not helpful, didn't comeback to table. We had this happen twice. Had mold on my wife's bread bun pinched it off and didn't say a word because waitress never came back. Food needs to be one more notch up the ladder before sending it out to public. In today's world to many companies fighting for your dollar, food Network has raised the bar for better service and food quality! Please give it try I'm sure the locals like they only have a few places to eat but it's not drive to place for the wow factor ! read more

Ok first off.let me say I have been here in the past and all was good.but today was a different ballgame here.food was ok as usual..but the refreshments(Pepsi dispenser..tea)were horrible.there excuse was the delivery doesn't come til Tuesday.well I would guess that would fall on the poor managements ordering skills right?.so no Pepsi for me.so I try the sweet tea..just about puked..tasted like it had been sitting for three days.not a good thing.also I ordered mushrooms with my burger.what I got was rubber canned mushrooms.you would think they would use fresh.this isn't a good start on our relationship squeeze inn.i know you can do better!! read more

Great food here! Wish the hours were better though. I used to live in Stockton and would have eaten here way more if the faculty was open past regular work hours. We were on a motorcycle trip from KCMO to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and Stockton, MO was to be our stopping place for lunch. I checked Yelp and was intrigued by this place. Quirky, cute, and real America here! If it is a busy day, you may have to wait, but there is plenty to look at while you are waiting. We all opted for the Squeezburger. First, it's important to note that Squeeze Inn takes cash or check only. No debit or credit cards are accepted. Also, check their hours of operation before coming out because it varies and they are closed on Sunday. I had the Squeezeburger, with fries and a Rootbeer to drink. The burger was big, juicy and had good flavor but the bun started to fall apart while eating the burger. Not bad if you eat fast (like me) but others at my table really struggled with it. This place isn't for those who are on a diet or are looking for a whole wheat bun. This is a decadent burger with all the fixings and your arteries might start to harden as you watch them cook it up. One word, "Delicious"! The only complaints I might have are they aren't opened every day so you need to check their hours before going and they don't take credit cards. This little hole in the wall burger joint is a must try! The squeeze is the bomb! Loved the steak taco as well. Huge portions. Miss Ruth was extremely friendly and warned us about ordering too much.
