Granted I'm sure going to any chiropractor could have given me results, but it's so great not having weekly head pains. I can honestly say he did an amazing job, and very personal- really striving to make a personal connection and getting to know you. He also helped me really learn how muscles in your body are connected, and sitting a certain way or injuring something in your back for example can escalate into pains in your neck. I've also tweaked muscles while lifting, or pulling muscles and it's incredible how helpful adjustments can be. And also helping me learn better ways to lift or the correct postures/positions so that it won't happen again. His staff is warm and friendly, and I'd recommend him and his business to anyone- he really is a great guy and a great doctor, hands down.

From debilitating migraines to dull…read moreheadaches that would last for literally months, I feel like I've spent more of my life with a headache than without. Naturally, I've seen every specialist there is to see, but the one profession I've encountered more than any other (by a factor of about a dozen) is the chiropractor, and until Lucid Chiropractic, they all said the same thing: that they've cured tons of people of their headaches, and that if I simply follow their [expensive] program, I'll be good as new. Except no one so much as touched them. They came with the same frequency, same intensity, same everything. The chiropractors would push for me to stay in treatment for another month or year, saying that my feeling better was just around the corner. Needless to say, I soon wrote chiropractors off for good. Then my husband came home raving about a chiropractor who came into his office, and how this one was "different" and that I needed to give him a chance. I was opposed to this, and eventually my husband had to force my hand by booking the appointment for me. On the drive over, grumpy, groggy, and headachey--like I always was--I said "fine, but I'm not letting them take any x-rays. My head's been x-ray'd so much that they'll give me brain cancer by the time they solve my headaches." My initial meeting was with Dr. Geoff. After a lengthy (and informative) description of what sort of chiropractic care he provides (hint, it's not the normal pop-and- crack-em variety), he asked me what was wrong. I explained to him my headaches, and then the unthinkable happened. He said "Well, I'm not sure if we can resolve them or not, but we can try. To start, though, we'll need to take some x-rays." My husband thought I'd walk out the door at the mention of x-rays, but instead I was all in. This chiropractor knew that there were limits to the care he could provide, already proving he was both more honest and more intelligent than most I had worked with in the past. That his rates were beyond reasonable, and his "treatment plan" only lasted two-to-three months of relatively regular visits, was bonus. Initially, my headaches were static, but I noticed an unexpected change: I was no longer groggy and foggy-headed. I didn't even realize that one could feel clear-headed and energetic as a normal part of life. I didn't mention this as a problem to solve, and no one planted the idea in my head that I might be more alert, and yet I was downright spritely. It was euphoric, and made continuing with Lucid Chiropractic absolutely worth it, even if my head still did regularly hurt. After several months, though, even my headaches started to fade. Now that I know what it feels like to feel good, being groggy, dull, and achy is nearly debilitating. I am so acutely aware of all the ways in which I do not feel good, and I marvel that I was able to live like this, every day, and be a productive person. When I do something stupid and throw myself out of alignment, I can feel it, and that's saying something. I am not normally the most self-aware person. And now I merely go in to see them when I know I'm out of alignment, they do their magic, and then the next day it's like I'm a real person again. Dr. Geoff and Dr. Ollie are amazing, and I'm so glad my husband bullied me into seeing them. They single-handedly have improved the quality of my life.

I was having intense lower back pain from the birth of my second child for over nine months and it was just getting worse by the day. I had scheduled physical therapy and knew I needed something else to hopefully heal. After searching for a specialized postpartum PT I figured it was worth a try to find a chiro who specialized in the same. I didn't even know if it existed, but it does here! I honestly wish I would have found her sooner, during my pregnancy, after I found out she specializes in pregnancy care too. We walked through all my issues and concerns and she got to treating me. It took about three months to start feeling some true relief. I was at times dejected from not feeling too much better and she always was very frank with me. She wanted to help, but I needed to be honest if things weren't getting better so we could address what treatments I needed. I got the feeling she is hyper aware of the stigma chiropractors have with potentially taking advantage of people and really truly wants to break that and have you feeling better than when you first came. She also gave me exercises to do at home each week to help with the healing. The online booking system is super easy to schedule and she usually has appointments if not immediately, the day after.
