Luckily he listened, and I still treasure the pieces he got me from RP Diamonds & Gold Imports over the years. In the years that followed, RP Diamonds & Gold Imports has helped me with several custom jewelry pieces: Kham was my point person for those projects, and created beautiful, unique pieces that exceeded in design, execution and precision the ideas that I had described. The shape wasn't affected either. In addition to the high quality of the craftsmanship, I also really appreciated how hospitable Vartan and the rest of the associates were. I was walking out feeling a bit despondent when I saw some jade jewelry in a Jewelry Art Center display and popped in to ask if they could repair my ring. Jewelry Art Center said yes we can repair your ring, we're a bit busy it'll take a few weeks. A few weeks and $300 later two prongs were extended the jade is secure and polished and I can wear my ring again. It looks beautiful and is wearable again. Thank you Jewelry Art Center!!!

These days however, the center is open to the public at large, a big plus & welcome change. Lately been a sucker for 14k chains again. Gold seemingly making a huge comeback and never really goes out of style. Looking to treat myself. I set a budget going in. I also did a fairly exhaustive search on eBay to get baseline pricing numbers for my chain before arriving. Humbled-honored to meet really sweet couple Nilo & Gul Mohammed, owner-proprietors of "A One Imports," located on Lower Level, along with all of the other showrooms. They've been here 40 years serving customers. And, they had precisely what I had come to look for in my desired piece...at what I must say was a very fair (borderline incredible?) price, comparatively speaking. And trust me, I compared. Same necklace retail at--say Macy's, Zale's, Kay's, Amazon (cheap stuff) or even eBay would've been hundreds, possibly up to $1K more by weight, design and markup. Mrs. Mohammed (Nilo) works hard to stay within your budget, making sure you're a completely satisfied customer in the end. Check some of the other showrooms if you must, but make sure you at least include A One Imports for comparison before settling on your final purchase(s). You could potentially save a tidy sum and fold some of your hard-earned money back in your pocket. I doubt this business will be undersold here at the Center. Their impressive showroom of fine jewelry includes loose diamonds, jewelry repair, and they even buy scrap gold. AND--a huge, unheard-of plus here at the Center--they accept most major credit cards without any mark up-processing fees. Most of the other showrooms request cash only or will hit you with the interchange fees that the banks charge the merchants. No mark-up at this showroom means the customer enjoys a measure of flexibility with financing & budgeting those larger purchases like wedding & engagement sets for example. Give 'em a shot!
