Let me start with, I'm horrible at planning anything! My fiancé and I went to view this venue and…read morewhen we tell you we fell in love with how gorgeous it was it's an understatement. The important thing to note here is that they do a lot of weddings! Towards the beginning they were undergoing a lot of changes within staff and it was difficult initially to contact them or get a response which was extremely frustrating. Once it got closer to our wedding day we got a new coordinator named Tessa and she basically saved my sanity because from that moment on I had no issues and felt so prioritized. Be patient with them in the beginning because you're one of many brides they speak to on a daily basis. Once you're wedding day is actually there, it will be worth every single penny. The food was amazing, the DJ is so good and attentive, our day of coordinator Hayley was also really nice and Victoria made sure to ask me if I needed anything she was there to make it happen. I can't stress enough how incredibly beautiful our wedding was and every single guest told us the pictures of the venue we sent did not do it justice. Also, get the horse carriage it's such a beautiful moment I shared with my dad then with my husband. We saw Tessa the next day when I went to pick up some things we left behind and she asked where we were going for our honeymoon and literally within the hour of us leaving she emailed us so many great ideas and recommendations. Lake Oak Meadows is lucky to have someone like her that is so kind, reassuring, goes above and beyond expectations, and genuinely you can tell she loves what she does. Thank you to everyone who helped create our magical day sorry if I was a stressed wreck initially but you guys definitely delivered and made me look good because like I said I can't plan anything accordingly. To see how great it turned out you guys definitely know how to make everything feel perfect. 12.2.21

Grab a bottle of their Grand Cuvée Reserve if you want something bubbly or my personal favorite the 17 Dolcetto Reserve (an 88point). MMM baked fruit and toasted oak. The property itself feels peaceful the second you arrive. The lake, the oak trees, the open sky -- it all comes together in a way that feels natural and romantic without trying too hard. There's something about being surrounded by rolling hills and water that just makes the moment feel bigger and more meaningful. One of the BEST parts about Lake Oak Meadows is how many perfect little spots there are. You can walk along the lake at sunset, find a quiet corner under the trees, or use the rustic barn and open fields as your backdrop. The light in the evening is especially stunning -- soft, golden, and perfect for photos you'll look back on forever. It doesn't feel crowded or overly formal. It feels calm. Intimate. Like you can take your time and really be in the moment. That's what makes it such a special place to ask such an important question. If you want a proposal setting that's naturally beautiful and unforgettable without feeling staged, Lake Oak Meadows is truly something special. I would be HONORED to be sneaky and take your proposal photos here! Email: hello@amandacantonphoto.com Instagram: @amandacantonphoto

The outside ceremony area is just magical with the paved path, little pond, and wood arch to come through at the back of the area. We didn't stay in the house overnight but were able to get ready there and it is very spacious and so cute inside! We really had a blast in the bridal suite and it was so comfy and fun. The whole ceremony flowed very smoothly and our wedding coordinator was really attentive and helpful. I especially appreciated how she helped the guys with their boutonnieres, since I was worried about how they would get them on with the pins. The food was super super yummy - we got the Mexican taco plates and I would highly recommend them. We did the photo booth as well and one thing I wasn't anticipating was how cool the props were. I thought they would be paper cutouts you hold up, etc, but there was a whole little dresser back there with all kinds of fun and silly physical props in the drawers. It was such a blast. The barn for the reception is so enchanting, as well, with all the lights and the high ceiling and wood beams. There was lots of space for everything at our wedding of about 100 people. - dancing, cake, some kids to find the couch by the entrance door. With a bigger wedding there would still be plenty of space, too. I also want to shout out Rene - he gave us a nice tour the first (and second) times we visited, and he was there on our wedding day helping out. He was always so kind, warm, and helpful, and it really was special to see him there.

I attended a wedding where staff decided the Americans with Disabilities Act didn't apply to them. The fact they forced individuals with mobility issues to leave the wedding area pre wedding only to have them walk a great length with no assistance and then refused to give them a head start or assistance back to the wedding area is absolutely horrific and clearly shows the massive failure of whomever runs this place. Shame on you Harmony Estate.

The decor was great and I loved that many people dressed up. I definitely enjoyed my time there. The only thing I didn't like was how long it took for the food to be brought out. My friend and I…read moretook our toddlers here for a mommy & me Valentine's date this past weekend and we were both super disappointed. We paid $30 per person for the tea party so $120 total. Honestly we weren't expecting anything crazy, but even with that we were super bummed with the experience. The one star is for how cute the place and setup are. It has a lot of potential, and maybe something was just going on this particular day that made the experience so awful. But even if that was the case I wish they would have explained. Anyway, the tea party started at 11 am and they did not specify how long it was supposed to be or the end time. We get there on time and sit down, enjoy the adorable set up and wait to be served. It took about 20-30 for us to be served our tea and lemonade. After that we are waiting for our finger foods (which on the advertisement they stated it would be sweet and savory). They did not bring our bites until 12:30! Meaning it took an hour and a half for them to bring a small tray of croissants, cupcakes and cookies! I was so confused as to why it took so long to serve.. I mean clearly almost everything was premade besides the little basic finger sandwiches (and it was taking a long time for everyone, because we were listening to all the little girls around us complaining of how hungry they were). So finally we get ours and instead of getting ham & cheese sandwiches like everyone around us, they gave us chicken salad sandwiches which the kids did not want at all. I ate them because at this point I am super hungry and getting a headache because i'm also super pregnant. We ask the lady if they have anything else and she said she can make them grilled cheese sandwiches. The main problem was that for the amount of tickets they sold/tables they had.. they were understaffed. There was just one adult (who i'm assuming was the owner) and two kids helping her (i'm guessing her kids). I loved that the kids were serving the tables but it literally took an hour and a half for us to get a super basic tray of snacks and they only came twice to fill our tea. On top of all that, what bothered me the most was there were moms waiting in the waiting room for a solid hour waiting to be seated! Their daughters all dolled up for a cute day with their moms and literally waiting an hour to be seated for something that was supposed to start at 11 am. A lot of the moms were disappointed but what can they say? They don't want to ruin the experience for their daughters. No joke if this was my business i would 100% refund all the moms there. I was so bummed I ended up leaving with a headache that lasted all day. I am just tired of businesses taking peoples money and not delivering.

The beauty of Vienza, the authenticity of Bolero (+ the incredible restaurant), and the simplicity of C'est La Vie are all really alluring. I personally like the C'est La Vie wines the best, the Vienza architecture and grounds the best, and then I like Bolero most for eating (and having drinks) in the VIP lounge. They each have their own appeal. What gets overlooked is the staff. I feel like I'm going to Cheers when I go there. Everyone knows me. Special shout out to their best employees, starting with my faves Rebecca - always happy and chipper, awesome conversation and customer service. Preston - very chill and has an understated sense of humor that I really like, great service too. Elijah - makes me feel like we've been great friends for 20 years. Dr. Doug - the best wine server in the Bolero VIP lounge. Rachael - will sit and engage with you for as long as you want, on any topic that you want. Others who are really awesome: L'ree, Gaby, Juan, and Josh (food server). All these guys always customize pours to what they know I love, and they always take care of my guests really well. I'm there with my 10 year old daughter 15 minutes prior and the old guy at the clubhouse counter goes, "Juniors play free during the week, but not on the weekends." Fair enough even though I didn't mention the price. I know from my past visits and online juniors are $10 off on the weekends though. I don't mention that. He says, "But I'm feeling generous today so I'll take $10 off." Okay so the cost it should be, not generosity. He doesn't give me a receipt. I check my bank account just to see what he charged. He charged me $58. The full price for 2 adults. It should have been $48 for my daughter and I at $29 for an adult and a junior at $10 less. But $58 to play The Colony, essentially an abandoned golf course that isn't maintained whatsoever to begin with. And then to have the workers be condescending and charge more than cost. That's theft and even worse that he tried to act like he was being generous. The other workers I've dealt with there have been cool and I dealt with the horrible conditions of the course cuz it's cheap and close. But I'll never go again after this. The cost to play is already a rip off, but to be overcharged on top of that is insane.
