One affected area got infected (I think because of the treatment actually but I don't blame the Dr for that really), so she had to come back and have a small procedure that included numbing some areas using medicine administered by a (tiny) needle. My daughter totally freaked! Shaking, sweating, crying, yelling at one point I'm sure. My 5 stars is 100% because of the way Dr Davis and her assistants handled my freaking out daughter. They treated her with kindness and patience, but also like a patient getting a small procedure done - that is, straightforward, confident, respectful. They explained everything they were doing and answered her questions factually. Dr Davis intuitively knew that "babying" her or brushing off her hysterical questions was not the way to go. She exudes a combination of warmth and professionalism that I appreciate. We will absolutely continue to see her.

Jessy was knowledgeable about skin of color which is why I sought him out and really seemed to care about the outcome. He made me feel comfortable and there was no embarrassment felt because of his professionalism. It's been about 2 years now and I have been continually seeing Jessy; my back looks great and I have my confidence back! Would HIGHLY recommend - a lot of guys in NYC are scam artists but not him.

Not only that when I called her again she lies to me again that the tube is in your pharmacy and I go all the way there and I am a med student studying for board exam and they made me waste my time on calls to their offices and pharmacies only to find out that she never sent it in the first place. Lying is not just super unprofessional it pretty much shows what type of rapport you wish to establish with your patient, and when I talked to this PA he refused to listen to any of this and just said I'll have to go for laser which is not covered by my insurance. I don't know what their obsession with my insurance is, I have changed my derm now, but yeah good luck trying to deny people treatments for mild-moderate acne by looting them with your laser money. Oh and they also didn't even tell me I have to buy glycolic acid pads from their office, they clearly missed the memo on patient education. So now my PIH is still there, and apparently I'm supposed to run back to them for that. Even if you drop it at my house you still delayed my treatment by months so what good is that to patient. Btw their laser prices are also heftier, do yourself a favor and find a better derm, preferably in the city where due to the competition they have actually better packages,and not this dingy depressing office. I do agree with some of the comments. There is a gentleman who works there who can be quite short, if not rude, when asking questions. Also I find it incredibly inappropriate that he knocks on the door during your service. This has happened to me several times. It makes me extremely uncomfortable. It feels like he is trying to rush your appointment and it is very disturbing. I've heard him become incredibly annoyed with other customers over the phone for what seemed to be someone asking for clarification on their question. He as speaking so fast even I couldn't understand what he was saying. But he doesn't perform the service so that's something.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael, and was totally amazed!!! (I'm not a person that's into that social media review stuff). However, I found it imperative to write a review, after my first visit with this wonderful doctor!! I wrote my first review on ZocDoc. I couldn't give Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael anything lower than a 5 star review. I've had my share of mediocre Dermatology visits/services in the past 15 years, that really didn't rock my boat! I had a severe chronic ongoing skin issue, that was very difficult to deal with. My stress, and anxiety level was on overdrive, I wasn't sleeping well, basic tasks were very difficult to do, and the medications, creams, pills, and injections that were given/prescribed to me,(only helped on a temporary basis). Long story short: I wasn't a happy camper...***Now to the bright side!! Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael's first visit was extensive. She asked me if I had anything planned for the day, and I told her no. She told me great...because you're going to be here for a good while. That was fine with me, I was open/desparate to anything at this point. I wanted to be freed from this chronic severe skin issue... which had me climbing the walls!!! She asked extensive medical questions in regards to my symptoms, medical history, family history, medications, treatments etc...There was blood testing done, pictures were taken of my skin, laser treatment performed, and I was also given a oxygen/hydrating gel mask treatment (which made my skin feel so much better). My insurance covered one treatment, and I paid for (4) additional treatments. That was fine with me. It soothed, and cooled off my skin, considering my skin was always FIRE!! She prescribed some medication, and gave me some samples to try until the following week. I had my appointment with Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael for the following week, to review my results. My skin was feeling a bit better. She read to me, the results of my lab tests. My lab results showed that I had a certain/serious autoimmune condition. Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael was very concerned, and started me on medication immediately!! I take this medication every day. Dr. Dele-Michael eventually prescribed a second medication as well. I got the next available appt. with a Rheumatologist 3 months after seeing Dr. Dele-Michael. (I was told by the Rheumotologist that these medications/dosages is what I needed). It's been 5 months, and I can honestly say, Dr. Adebola Dele-Michael has changed my life around!!!! It feels great to live a normal life again!!!! And I owe it all to her!!*** Now, I must mention all her staff (angels): Clinton, Olga, Ashley, and Tina. I can only brag about them!!! They're nothing but professional, patient, welcoming, compassionate, and always on point!! Their work ethics is beyond exceptional!! They're a great team!! I don't have any issues, or complaints in regards to the practice of Radiant Skin Dermatology.
