Well, I've been living in the Steele Creek area going over a year now have no complaints. When I…read moreneeded repairs done they -Tammaria was on it immediately! George the property manager is very courteous when I need advice. To me, personally speaking the team is great! I live in a semi gated Townhouse dwelling and it's safe here, the neighbors so friendly no crime to my knowledge and no drama. Even though I'm renting, I told George I would like to be the first perspective buyer if it go on the market. He obliged and said will let me know. Hopefull I will be a longstanding tenant. I treat this propery like it is my own with respect. I retired from New York and lived in Charlotte going on two years. Grew up in a house and this one here feels so close to home!

If I could give a negative zero, this company would get just that. The person who owner the house I…read moream renting, must had sold it to a company which hire these people to manage the property. Now, Bottom Line is raising my rent, charging extra fees which doesn't make sense like paying for their internet for the company to use, and they are charging me an extra month on my rent. My original lease started on 8/15 & ended 8/31. This new lease starts on July 1 so why am I losing a month? I tried calling these people and they either doesn't answer, passing you on to other people who does not return calls. I would mess with this company in any kind of way.

DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They have charged me for services that were never done:…read morecleaning of the house, washing carpet after my tenants moved out. Failed to fix basic things to be presentable to potential tenants like changing the light bulbs, removing the rubbish from the property even though I paid for it to be done. Next, they have neglected to rent my house for 5 months after my first tenants moved out. The company claimed that the market is slow, people are not interested in renting my house. As the time went by, they lowered the rental price three time to "attract" potential tenants. The truth is their real estate agent didn't respond to potential renters' calls, texts. People who were interested to rent the house found my phone number and texted me directly, stating that they are interested to rent my house, but the listing agent does not respond to any of their requests. After this event, I fired Preferred Home Management company and rented the house myself within one week from placing an add. I leave in a different state than the house for rent is located and trusted that all of the above service were done as promised. Upon entering the house after 5 months on the market I could not believe that i paid for services that were never done. They committed fraud!!!

Not to mention there was a roach problem we were unaware of and had to handle ourselves while in the unit. They also think we should have to pay $1300 on top of rent for listing the home early even though they didn't find someone to move in early. Every maintenance request I had to follow up on and I didn't even get an email or text response when I inquired about listing our rental so we weren't even sure they had done it. Do not move into their properties or use them. They do not value their clients and practice bad business.

My review to express my disappointment regarding the condition of the home I recently rented…read morethrough Invitation Homes at Olive Coast Street, Charlotte, North Carolina. During the onboarding and move-in inspection process, several items were identified that required repair or attention. Although my lease began in April and rent was paid for that month, I did not move into the property until May. Given that the property was vacant during that time, I reasonably expected that the identified issues would have been addressed before my move-in date. Unfortunately, when I moved into the home, many of the outstanding items had not been completed. As a result, I was required to take time away from work shortly after moving in to accommodate maintenance visits and repairs that could have been completed before occupancy. As a tenant, I believe it is reasonable to expect that a home is move-in ready at the start of the tenancy, particularly when concerns have already been documented and there was ample time to address them before occupancy. The inconvenience of coordinating repairs after moving in, combined with the need to miss work, has been frustrating and disruptive. I paid rent beginning in April, and I believe the property should have been inspected and prepared for occupancy before my move-in date. Instead, I was left dealing with issues that had already been identified, causing unnecessary inconvenience during what should have been a smooth transition into my new home. I respectfully request that Invitation Homes review this matter and consider an appropriate accommodation for the inconvenience and time I lost from work while facilitating repairs. I would appreciate a prompt response outlining how these concerns will be addressed. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Cheryl Ann Snyder-Samuel Charlotte, NC

Stay away from this realtor. This is the worst place I have…read moreever stayed. Abernathy Park, in Greensboro, ran by this company. For starters the water pressure is low and the way they bill for the water is criminal. When I went to visit my family for 3 weeks, my water bill for that time period was higher? I was not even home. I submitted a request with 4 items on it after 4 visits from maintenance, I canceled the request. You have been to my house four times already and still have not resolved my issues They promise a full-size washer, but after 3 washing machines, I have never gotten more than a medium load for cold water and the hot will not do anything larger than a small. They keep wanting to switch the washer out- After the 3rd was delivered-the maintenance told me they know the machines are bad and he wanted to order me a new machine. This is hideous. Why did you not do that from the beginning, if you knew they were bad? I declined all maintenance requests going forward. What was fixed is now broken again. Recently, I put in another maintenance request when there was a foul odor in the apartment and how it made me sick enough to go to the doctor, and three days later, no one came to check my vents or air quality in my apartment. There is dog feces everywhere, the residents who do not have pets are forced to deal with this. Management does nothing about people letting their animals poop any and everywhere. They even stated to me when I complained that "They do not clean dog poop". The turnover for the apartments is big, people move in and out asap! Many even break the lease, as it is not a safe place for humans, only dogs! Let this serve as a warning. Management is unprofessional and shallow!! They had new roofing installed, and my balcony was full of debris, which I had to clean, but when they replaced the shingles on the office building, they put down tarps so the debris would not get on the grounds. Just like they do not clean dog poop, I see no where in my lease where I am responsible for cleaning trash that management leaves on the premises.
