The facility is wonderful if your loved one does not need medicine or begins to experience early signs of dementia. The CNAs are too busy on their cellphones, screaming across the halls to one another, screaming and arguing with residence and we witnessed a resident being toppled over by a CNA and lied to their daughter of why he was on the floor. We took her out of the Palace after walking in on a CNA arguing with her and learning that the CNA had hurt her 3 weeks before and threatened her not to say the truth while they blamed my grandmother stating she had hit herself. They do not allow cameras in private rooms either because they say its to protect their CNAs - no concern towards the resident. In addition, DO NOT let them persuade you to use their doctors & Do NOT let their psychiatrist Dr. PARICIO go anywhere near your loved one. It seems to be this particular location because we are now in Weston, and it is much better. We did give Weston the chance because seeing vast majority complaints are against the Kendall property. Really ashame that the management, esp the assistant manager lie, retaliation is present and blame is never their staff, but on the residents if you complain to her. Beautiful place, some of the staff really have good hearts that truly care, but all I can say is do surprise visits and encourage and reassure your loved ones to not be fearful of telling you if anything does happen.

We found this place through a realtor and the lady initially told us it would be $2500 a month. After a couple days, the lady told us she had another person interested and they offered $3000 a month and if we can do better. Umm?? Then she tells us that she much rather take someone from her website instead of a realtor because then she has to pay the realtor a commission. Umm.. yeah.. it's called doing her job! It gets better! She then tells us that the rent increases annually 10-15%! You're kidding, right? What this lady is doing is wrong and pretty disgusting. It was truly the best decision I made, and I honestly don't know how I would have gotten through my recovery without them. They offer both private suites and shared rooms for those on a budget, provide three delicious meals a day, transportation to and from the airport, and rides to your pre-op and post-op appointments. But what makes this place so special isn't the amenities--it's the people. The women here cared for me with so much kindness, patience, and compassion. After surgery, I couldn't even use the bathroom by myself. They helped me shower, changed my pads, cleaned my faja, made sure I was comfortable, and checked on me constantly. I had care during the day, at night, and overnight, and I never once felt alone or like I was a burden. Recovery can be scary and emotional, especially when you're far from home. They made me feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for every step of the way. They even arranged for lymphatic massage therapists to come to the house, so I didn't have to leave while managing my drainage bags. Every detail was thought of to make recovery as easy and stress-free as possible. A very special thank you to Adriana, Debbie, and Josie. You didn't just take care of me--you gave me comfort, encouragement, and peace of mind during one of the most vulnerable times in my life. I will never forget your kindness. I feel so blessed that I found Charm Home Miami. If you're wondering where to recover after surgery, stop looking. This is the place. I recommend them with my whole heart

I stayed at Charm from 7/23 to 7/30 and this was the best part of my entire surgery experience. I had no idea what kind of care to expect and was quite scared of the entire process, but I was blown away with every single person I dealt with at Charm. I don't speak Spanish and most of the ladies didn't speak English but they had translator apps ready and we communicated well. Language was no barrier at all. I learned a few Spanish words, they learned some English ones and we had lots of laughs. I paid for a private room with shared bathroom which was perfect for me. Everything was so clean and comfortable. I stayed the night before my surgery so when I needed to go, they woke me up and got me an Uber to go to my surgery. Maria then picked me up after I was done and took me back to Charm. The amount of care they showed me still gives me goosebumps just thinking about how great they were. When we got to the house they had additional people waiting all to help me inside and get me situated. Then they constantly checked on me and made sure I had food, water, medicine, TV, etc. I had a call button, which I used a lot since I couldn't get in or out of the chair or when I couldn't reach anything. There was not a single request I made that made me feel I was asking too much or I was a bother. I remember when I first had to use the restroom shortly after the surgery and I was standing there thinking to just let me die from this pain as I almost passed out, they were ready with rubbing alcohol spray bottles, holding me up and getting me through it. These women are Angels! I just can't thank them all enough! Adriana, Maria, Leidy, Loreidi, and the other 2 (I'm so sorry I didn't write those names down), I would not have survived this without you all and I am so thankful to you all. I hope I never need to have surgery like this again, but if I do, I will be back at Charm for sure.
