Had a family member in this facility and they actually provided great care. The place was very clean in the Manager gave wonderful services. Anything I needed they accommodated my family. The staff is terrible- my grandpa has been here only a few days and has had to wait 40 minutes for someone to come take him to the bathroom. The staff has left him unattended on several occasions and he cannot walk. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! read more

We finally were able to get my mother out of St. Anthony's!! I'll start with the staff not getting my wheel chair using mother out of bed until after 11 am then wanting her to get back in bed at 6 pm Second, the lack of cleaning and the dirty floors. Then I need to mention that the food was served cold food on a regular basis with no flavor. Fourth I need to mention the lack of staff working, sometimes there were only 2 staff members working on an entire floor during dayshift. The last straw was that they cannot find a weeks worth of my mother's dirty laundry that was even labeled with her name. The 2nd star is for all the nurses and 2 or 3 aids that were super nice to my mother. read more

St. Anthony Health Care is a wonderful facility with a family feeling. The staff is friendly and share lots of moments with residents and their families. The facility is clean and diverse. The residents appear happy and smile often. Please keep this place in mind if you ever need Rehabilitation or long term care placement. read more

Where do I even start with this disgusting place of business?! They're horrible staff unpleasant and miserable nurses they keep on staff who don't do their job yet demote/fire the nurses who are actually nurturing the patients back to health mentally and physically!!! This is a corrupt place of business! They're filthy and sedate their patients so they can keep their lazy asses off duty while getting a paycheck. If ur looking to place ur loved ones in a facility where u don't expect them to recover or make it out of here this is the place to be! Today I took my mom to see her sister who these "wonderful staff members" at st Anthony neglected to care for her during the covid lockdown bc we clearly weren't there to watch how they never bothered to wake her up to eat change the diaper she needed BATHE her or move her out of the bed AT ALL causing her to have bedsores I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy! Being in hospice because of this, family is able to see her but the staff stated after covid screening, they required to give a covid test.... um excuse me? Why when we don't show any covid symptoms?! This place needs to be shut down they're horrible! The staff is under trained or clearly not wanting to do their damn job! I pray this facility doesn't see another year! I don't know how these horrible ppl can sleep at night knowing they didn't do their job! read more

Do NOT put someone you care about there!! We thought a private room in the Rehab section was a positive. WRONG! Staff ignored my sister leaving her call button unanswered for over 1 1/2 hours choking, she was on oxygen and was having trouble breathing and needed help. Continued to give her foods not appropriate for a diabetic. Started her on insulin which she never had to take before. I'm convinced the food they gave her contributed to this. There was a leak from the room next door right next to her bed for several days. Their response was to soak up the water with sheets and towels which turned brown! (SEWAGE?!) Her breathing was a lot worse when the soaked floor was present. The only positive thing about the whole place was occupational & physical therapy. Do your loved one a favor and find somewhere else!!!!!!! read more

horrible communication, horrible response time when it comes to a fall and stroke .... seriously she fell at night and us the family had to say something at 1230 pm that she needs to go to the hospital because it was completly clear she had a stroke the fricking night before...... and just all around the worst experience with a medical care facility i have ever witnessed ... pretty sure they killed my friend because of there inactions shes currently on a ventilator being kept comfortable ............. if it was up to me you wouldnt even get the one damn star read more

The worst place to send your loved ones, I would've rather kept my mom home instead of sending her here for rehab to get her strength back. After getting over COVID we had no choice but to take my mom to this awful place. I don't know where to start, the place shouldn't be operating. The nursing staff is very slow and lazy, we have to keep calling them for them to show up and then when we ask for clean sheets they said they didn't have any clean ones. They used to skip giving my mom a shower so I had to go to give her a shower and when I asked for towels they said they didn't have any clean ones, what kind of place does not have clean sheets or towels! Walking around the hallways all you can smell is marijuana; I'm convinced the workers were smoking it, I saw a few of them laughing with the smell of marijuana reeking out of them. I'm not sure if my mom was having her medicine on time or if they were giving her the right medicine. Her health condition worsened in a very short time, at one point I was worried that she had bladder infection so I asked the nurse to give her an ultrasound and their machine didn't work!!! we had to take my mom to the hospital and she end up in the ICU the next day and passed away 7 hours later. This establishment is supposed to be comforting and taking care of your loved ones but from my experience this establishment shouldn't be even operating, don't take your loved ones there! read more

Please do not send your loved one here. Our family member passed away here and if they had it their way she would have been alone. They were rude and nasty to her. They never came when she pressed the call button. Her meds Were not given on a timely manner and they claimed to have hospice care and when our Loved one was put into hospice they had no idea how to deal with that. They held out giving her her first dose of pain relief for about 6 hours. All she wanted was to die with dignity and they did everything possible to take that away from her. My Dad spent 6 weeks at St. Anthony's for wound care and they took excellent care of him. He was in the rehab section of St. Anthony's and they have private rooms and it was really nice and clean. They always greeted us when we came to visit my Dad even if they weren't the ones taking care of my Dad. Anytime I had questions about my Dad's care they answered me right away. They did lose a couple of his shirts in laundry and promptly paid me for 2 new ones. My Dad has spent time in 2 other nursing care facilities prior and told me if he has to come back he prefers to come back to St. Anthony's. I highly recommend them! read more

0 stars.. not any different. But need to write another review. I wrote one 9 days ago, and the lady, Fay, keeps harassing my mom and aunts to tell my sister and I to take our review down. Why?!!! Bc you know it's 100% truth?! I know from the earlier months of covid back in March and April, when patients were put in hospice there was no restrictions for their parents to see them. 4-5 or more family members would come see their loved one and for no time limit, bc they're ON HOSPICE!!! It could be any day they'll be gone from this world!!! But wait, now when things are opening up, less restrictions from the governor herself, this nursing home wants to be rude and make things worse for family and patients! The lady who keeps calling my mom and telling my aunts and uncle to have me and my sister take down our reviews..... I will tell you directly, NO I WILL NOT TAKE DOWN MY REVIEWS THAT STATE THE TRUTH OF THIS DESPICABLE PLACE! Now, if you think you can take your anger and what not out on my family member that's a patient there, you will definitely be hearing from our lawyers! How about you do your job correctly with the passion someone is supposed to have towards those in the nursing home, or leave the place! If you are not happy with your job and don't feel like doing things to help the patients, then find another job!!!!! Don't complain, call and harass family members who are leaving true reviews about this place. Also, don't deny a family member coming to see their loved one in hospice bc they don't know when the last time will be, bc you have "a shift change." Like what kind of lie is that?!!! I have NEVER heard of someone being denied access to see their loved one bc of a shift change! And he even complied with your ridiculous rules of your own, making him take a covid test which will only allow him to see his sister for the remaining week. The next time he wants to see his sister after that timeframe, he was told to get another covid test on his own with his own payment. Stop making your own rules Fay! There is a God! What St Anthony's is not is a NURSING Care center. From what I could find about this 102 bed facility there are 3.5 full time nursing staff with administrative duties. My grandmother lived in this facility for the last 4 months of her life and died there with the most inadequate care. Staff are poorly trained, especially in end of life care and pain management. When problems arise, and they will in any facility, you want to know that your concerns will be heard and addressed in an appropriate and professional way. They will not be handled that way here. Don't expect to be able to get in touch with the Md on staff or to get help by the social work department. Choose a different facility for your loved ones and educate yourself on how to work the chain of command, how to file a complaint with the Local Long term ombudsman that covers the facility. This facility is owned by a for profit corporation that inadequately trains it's staff and your loved one will pay the price for that. read more

For the sake of your loved ones, stay away from St. Anthony Nursing Care Center. St. Anthony is poorly managed; next of kin are not always notified of health matters, injuries, hospitalizations or even death (management still has not contacted me regarding the circumstances surrounding my mother's injuries, complications or cause of death); the employee moral is extremely low; residents are merely sources of income for the owner; management will not aid in resolving Medicaid problems, but instead management threatens to evict; residents' personal belongings are mishandled/damaged/lost; complaints are totally ignored; meals are unappetizing; furniture and mattresses are old and in need of replacement (there are not even enough bedspreads for all the beds); the facility is filled with residents merely sitting around in wheelchairs and vegetating (no mentally stimulating or real entertaining activities); and management has not treated me, next of kin, with any respect or compassion before or after my mother's death. read more
