Rob gave us a choice of a history tour, music, or friendly conversation. We appreciated this as we live in St. Augustine and have heard the history many times. Ron asked us what type of music we liked and let it play. He had blankets for us which was great for the cool breezy night. We really enjoyed how friendly Rob was. We are very personable people and loved not only hearing about Rob, but he also shared some unknown facts about St. Augustine that you don't always here on the tours. It was a wonderful experience.

A little rough of a wait when you have a two year old. However, there were plenty of kind people that engaged to make the time go by faster. Ride charges $25 (adult) $10 (kids) $0 (2 and under) we shared a carriage with another family. The ride was smooth and literally around all of downtown through many alleys, and main streets. I dom't recall how long the ride was, but my guess would be over an hour because when I got off my legs felt stiff. Bonus they have a blanket on board if your feeling a little chilly. Being the highest rated walking ghost tour in St. Augustine, and the fact that it was dog friendly,…read moremy husband, dog,and I decided to check out the Night Watchman Ghost Tour. We gathered at the storefront, and almost immediately my dog started acting confused and scared. He's an 80 lb pitbull, and get doesn't really get scared of anything. At one point, he lept into my husband's arms (a move solely used at the vet's office). As soon as all of the patrons had arrived, Scott, our storyteller, told us about a little ghost girl Lily that lives in that building. She will often play with marbles and a doll in that same room. My husband and I have no doubt that she was petting the dog and that's what freaked him out. It was a great beginning to our ghost tour for sure. Scott then spent the next 2 hours taking us from place to place telling us about ghost encounters in the buildings that we were standing in front of. He was immersed in the history of St Augustine, even being a volunteer archaeologist and helping move parts of history. His storytelling skills were second to none. Even our dog, who had walked ALL day long around St Augustine, stayed close to Scott trying to listen to the stories and was excited as we moved to each place. It was a slow paced tour so you don't have to worry about being physically fit to partake. It was a well-spent 2 hours that my husband and I truly enjoyed. The dog enjoyed it too, except for being petted by the ghost Lily. We highly recommend this tour! Thank you, Scott, for such a fun adventure!

His ghost stories were right on par and none of that tacky paranormal equipment or fabricated sightings. We were lucky enough to be the only 2 souls who signed up this particular Thursday. He could have cancelled, rushed through the tour or lost interest due to our group size but this was NOT the case. At one point, we steered questions towards the general history of St Augustine and there wasn't a single question he could not answer! Love visiting this location!…read more I've always made sure to make a stop here when I'm visiting St. Augustine. This last visit was no different! Inside is spacious, clean and what's really interesting is that they have informative areas that showcase the distillation process and other fun facts about the distillery! I enjoy coming for their tasting that they offer. While it use to be free of charge local businesses in the area that also had tastings started charging so that makes sense especially with the amount of visitors they get! Luckily it's only $5 dollars and you get a chance to enjoy a variety of their products. There are employees are different stations that give you information on the spirits and mixers they offer while they craft drinks for you to try. Such as a mule with their vodka, a sweet tasting drink with their crafted rum, another with gin and the final stopping point is an old fashioned! If you end up loving any of the drinks, you're able to purchase a bottle there in their gift shop. They also offer to hold any of your purchases for a later pickup time if you don't want to be holding onto your purchase if you're busy visiting and exploring the city. They also provide different paid experiences involving their whiskey. I have yet to try them out but maybe one day I'll make sure to!

We stopped in unexpectedly, signed in without any trouble, and were done in under a half hour. It helped that it wasn't crowded at all and our group of 5 were the only ones on the tasting tour at the time. You get to taste 4 different cocktails made with their various products. The first two were decent, with the second being a step up from the first. The third was our favorite by far, a tiki rum cocktail that actually had a really nice flavor to it. The fourth and final one was a straight vodka pour from an older woman at the last station. She told us that good vodka shouldn't taste like nail polish, which is a bold thing to say right before handing someone a sample that tasted pretty much exactly like acetone. A couple of us couldn't even finish it. The staff overall were super friendly though, and it was genuinely cool getting to go behind the scenes and see all the big machinery in the distillery. Now the gift shop at the end is a different story. Everything was overpriced, and their clearance section was almost insulting, with maybe $2 knocked off the regular prices. We won't be buying any of their products, but for $5 the tasting itself was a fun little experience worth checking out if you're in the area.
