A rarity these days. My certificate allowed a couple's massage for my partner and myself. We were received by a friendly smile. Our massage therapists, Tina and Holly were so much fun! They were able to set a relaxing and calming environment and work on all our needs. The atmosphere was spacious and allowed one to mellow out. Great way to relieve stress and unwind after a busy week! My husband and I visited last month for our anniversary and got a 90 min couples massage. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, especially since we had only slept a couple of hours the night before. It was great to be able to completely relax. Unfortunately for the massage therapists this meant my husband and briefly myself falling asleep and probably snoring. Haha, oops! But I guess just take that as a compliment. Amazing spa around St. Augustine! Set up an appointment online the day before and they confirm with their available times. The masseuses were professional and helpful, gave us a tour of the place after our massages. We got the couple massage, it was amazing and relaxing. Their massages are perfect, they ask you beforehand how you like the massage and explain all details. Will definitely come back to this place when I'm around St. Augustine. I visited The St Augustine Spa last October. I was interested in some of their services and decided to start by purchasing a spray tan package. Five tans for $99. After getting home I realized they had sold me the wrong package, one in which I would have 'unlimited' but had to be used in one month. I got that sorted out with the owner via email. She responded quickly, telling me she would switch the package. Hooray! Meanwhile, I received an email from them telling me my Botox appointment was confirmed. ( I hadn't booked one.) Got that sorted out. Had first spray October 14th. 24 hours later, my skin looked no different. I emailed and voiced my disappointment. I've had many spray tans in my previous location and had no problems. Went in for the second spray towards the end of December. The owner suggested using the darkest spray with a bronzer this time. Seemed a bit excessive as my natural skin tone is fairly pale. Same result. Emailed the Spa again to let them know their booth must be faulty. No response. I contacted them five additional times, and by January 8th, frustrated by their lack of response and customer service, I notified the owner that I would be sharing my not-so-good experience on Google. She responded within the hour, but by that time, I had already posted my concerns. She told me that the machine had in fact been faulty, due to a leaking tube. She was having it repaired, but she would give me a refund, per my request. It's now January 27th and I still have not received my credit of $99. Needless to say, I will not be using this Spa again. I have now started the process with my credit card company to have the charge reversed. This is my first negative review towards a business. I don't usually complain, but in this case I feel so taken advantage of. I recently went through two major surgeries and was looking forward to being in a relaxed atmosphere and feeling a little pampered. This experience has been anything but. The owner has just berated me for leaving a negative review, even though it was 100% accurate and honest. I told her I would revise it as soon as she refunded me. I always aim to be fair. The other negative is that with both of my visits, I was left hanging around in the waiting room for ages before anyone showed up at the front desk. An all-around major waste of my time, and an unpleasant experience dealing with an owner who refuses to do the right thing. read more

I visited the St. Augustine Spa for a relaxing day with 3 friends. They accommodated the four of us for the relaxation we all were overdue. When we entered we were welcomed by the receptionist who was very nice. Then the owner showed us around the spa so we knew where each of the services and amenities were located. We each got a 90 minute massage. I had Amanda as my massage therapist and she was amazing! She made sure to focus on the areas I told her were causing me pain (neck, shoulders and lower back). The room for the massage was nice but it was a little bright compared to the dimmer massage rooms I have been to. (But this did not dampen my experience.) The table was heated which was nice and Amanda made sure to keep privacy throughout the massage which made me not notice the lightening. One of my friends also did the aromatherapy steam pod which she said was one of the most therapeutic experiences she had a spa. There are two saunas and jacuzzis to use and a very relaxing and therapeutic meditation/relaxation room. The spa is newer and the owner said they will be adding a salon with hair and nails. The most impressive amenity was the complementary child care! I personally do not have children but this would be a huge advantage for busy moms who want and need a massage or facial but don't have someone to watch their little one. Overall this spa won me over and will come back again. The entire staff were friendly and asked about our experience and if we needed anything more. I've been looking for a good spa in the St Augustine area since City Wellness closed. This is not it. The deep tissue massage was OK but the ambiance and typical spa expectations of service did not exist. I arrived 15 minutes early and sat in the front entry waiting area, was ushered straight into a massage room and after 90 minutes was ushered straight to checkout to pay. For the price I'm used to a little different level of service than you might receive at a Massage Envy. Some of the other reviews I read set the bar high, but that was not my experience. It did not feel to me that the main service offering was a day spa. read more

I was interested in lazer lipo treatments. I requested to have a consultation prior to purchasing the package to make sure I was going to be a good candidate. I was assured I should get noticeable results if I purchased the 6 visit package. The first visit should have been a clue. I was forgotten in the waiting area. I had to place a phone call to get someone to come acknowledge my existence. The two visits were a clue. The third visit I had a new person apply the lazer pad. She commented she was not sure why I had not had all the available lazer pads used on me for my previous visits. The "last" visit, I was again completely forgotten. I had to remove the lazer pads myself and walk out front to find someone. Since I was not able to finish the complete treatment that day, I was given another treatment. This totaled 7 treatments. This last visit, I was measured. I had not lost any weight and had only has less than .5 inch total result. This procedure does not work. I have no faith in this facility. They obviously have issues with not respecting their customers. How do you forget someone is in your facility twice in 7 visits??? I do not recommend this facility at all!! read more

We just visited today to celebrate my cousin's 40th birthday and I must say, we couldn't have picked a better day spa. They truly helped us to make this a special experience for the birthday girl with mimosas, a card, and birthday balloons. This was such a special touch and very much unexpected and appreciated. We had massages and enjoyed the sauna and jetted tub amenities. Everything was very clean and the space is beautifully designed and decorated. My cousin tried the steam pod and she said it was her favorite of all the things we did. I definitely want to try it the next time I visit. Overall we left super relaxed and refreshed.
