Park lake called not too long after letting us know there was an opening. We were very hesitant to switch her schools. The one she was attending was good... but it's amazing what actually a big difference between good and great is. I am glad we made the switch. It was easy too. This school feels more like family...you feel comfortable. You won't feel uneasy asking any question if you need to. Or with anything. They check ids and who is on the actually pick up list if you need to have someone pick up. No one can just wander in the building. They also provide lunches here so she actually eats her lunch and enjoys eating what everyone else is eating (healthy!). She not comparing or not wanting her food if someone else has something different. During this pandemic, they put in place over the top procedures.. to make sure the kids that needed the care during this time were safe and it has been!! They pay attention to all the small things! Communication is excellent. I know what she learns every week, how she is doing, whats happening at the school, etc. The teachers and the staff are all wonderful. Our daughter loves it here. I would drive an extra distance to bring her here. I could go on about this place. It's worth the wait (or the transfer, like we did) if there is a waiting list!! Couldn't be happier.

I've also never seen an owner work harder than Priya. She is the first person I see in the morning and she is the last person I see to leave. Due to unexpected circumstances, my family had to move in the middle of the pandemic. And when I made the very tough (and scary) decision to put my 6 month old baby into daycare after months and months of working two jobs being a stay at home mom and working from home -the Goddard school exceeded every expectation. They were one of the only places that would accept her part time and when she turned a year we upgraded her to full-time. My daughter goes to school every single day and cannot wait to get there. At Baldwin Oaks, all the staff are friendly and caring. The Montessori style resulted in immediate changes: the kiddo has become more self sufficient by wanting to clean up after playing, washing hands, getting dressed by themself. I feel it's much better than just having playtime for most of the day. The school itself is a little worn around the edges (this is definitely not a new facility by any stretch), but well maintained. The office does have have a fingerprint scanner for check in/out, but otherwise not much else in the way of technology such as cameras, electronic doors, or online payment. But these minor inconveniences are far outweighed by the staff and the way the kid has developed this past year.

I ONLY stayed at the preschool because her staff was EXCELLENT, but once one staff member left after 14 years from the preschool things changed, instead of Mrs.Friends wishing her well, she wrote a highly unprofessional departure email. In that email Mrs. Friends spoke poorly of that staff member & sent it to the parents of the children attending the preschool. Mrs. Friends did not stop there she also harassed her while at work on her last days & even told her to not come back to finish her 2 weeks. This preschool has seen countless amounts of teachers come and go because of Mrs. Friends poor and unfair treatment of them. If they stood up to Mrs. Friends she quickly pushed them out. These were teachers and aids that ACTUALLY cared about the kids. The last straw for me was when my disabled ( epileptic) daughter was left at her school after I had communicated with them via ProCare ( to not incur the 5 dollar fee for not communicating the status of my child being present/absent) to pick her up the day before as she has multiple appointments for her health during the week as sometimes attended there after school program. Mind you we had paid Mrs. Friends almost 2 months in advance to hold her spot in her after school program & even then Mrs.Friends harassed me about that via ProCare. I am aware no school is perfect but at some point someone has to bring this to light because if Mrs.Friends does this to us a patron of her establishment for 9 years, what makes you think she will be any different with you?
