Definitely sets them a part from other coffee spots. I hope they continue to grow and create amazing/creative drinks!!! They're blackowned!!! Cons: 30 min drive from the downtown area and I was a little perturbed. BUT they are opening up a location within the next month downtown so that is AMAZING! So although I was upset at first about the drive, I must say it was worth it!!! Support this Black-owned business!!

I do hope they eventually get some cozy seating for a longer visit. So my chosen libations were the cinnamon latte and the green bliss drink. Both were delicious but my absolute favorite is the green bliss drink. It's my favorite so much that I'm openly admitting that I'm writing this review on the parking lot the day after I first drank it and feeding my newfound crave. I'm abandoning Starbucks over it (don't judge me), and very happily feeding my new addiction. Yep.....that word. The cookies and icing from Dough Re Mea were also good. I'm all about supporting local business and thoroughly excited to see more and more small businesses opening in my neighborhood!

We had not eaten at Erio's in many years since moving away. This is the Erio's location where we last ate. Apparently, it has been sold since we were last there. I'm not saying the food was bad, but it certainly was not what I remembered. For instance, the house Italian dressing used to be a thick creamy slightly sweet dressing. It was delicious and came recommended. Now it's a sour vinegar and oil dressing with heavy herbs. We were looking forward to getting a pizza but were disappointed. The crust was tough and the toppings were sparse. I didn't care for it. They were busy, so I do overlook some things, but I should have been offered water, and I was not. I guess I could have requested it. I did enjoy the warm bread and butter. If I try this place again, I will not order pizza. If pizza is what I'm hungry for, I think I will go to Massa's or Rizzo's and save myself the disappointment. I guess it's all in what each of us likes. Your experience might be different.

When my ordered was delivered, instead of an entree, I received an appetizer. I contacted, Erio's and DoorDash. Between them both, my ordered was made correctly and was delivered less than hour of my first delivery! Hands down, Erio's takes pride, not only in their food, but making sure that customers are satisfied with their order and secured in the knowledge that, they'll go above and beyond to make sure your experience and expectations is ! DoorDash also deserves praise as well! Again, 5 stars and 2 thumbs up is definitely deserved! One last note, always remember..if you're not happy with your order or you received a wrong order, contact DoorDash and more importantly, the restaurant. The restaurant will go above and beyond to ensure your order is correct :)

There are very few things that can convince me to make the trek out to St. Charles. I'm just not a…read morefan of the area, to be quite honest. But then I heard about the Adam Morgan foundation's annual fun run. The Adam Morgan foundation is an organization that provides support to families with autistic children. Hmm...a good cause? Running? A 7pm start time? Okay, count me in. This was the 2nd annual AM fun run. It was sponsored by Fleet Feet, and it began in Frontier Park in Old Town St. Charles. The fun run featured a 10K run, 5K run (or walk), or a 1.5 mile walk, so it definitely catered to all abilities. Pros and Cons of the race? Pros: A really good cause. Good race support with lots of volunteers and water stops. Cons: If you're doing the 1.5 mile walk or the 5K, you'll be surrounded by tons of people. I see that as a good thing. However, I chose to run the 10K, and as a middle of the pack runner (not super fast, but not ridiculously slow, either), I was alone for much of the race. Seems like not many people (Maybe 30?) opted to do the 10K. I don't mind running alone when I'm familiar with the neighborhood. But this race took us through the Katy Trail, which I'm not very familiar with. And about a mile of the race had us running alongside a trailer park. And running alongside a trailer park in St. Charles at sunset is NOT where this girl wants to be! Yikes. So while this one was a good cause, I'm not sure I'd run this race again. Maybe I'll just donate money next year and leave the running through the backwoods part to the braver souls.

Three of us took the Delmar Loop food tour with our guide Tracey. First I would like to say Tracey…read morewas a wonderful guide with so much knowledge of the area. She told us the history of the loop, what's currently going on and what's up and coming. We could not have asked for a better guide. The food is important but having a good guide I think is equally important. Tracey went above and beyond. We loved her. Five stars for Tracey. Now on to the food. I will list what where we stopped and rate each individual place. SALT AND SMOKE- OMG THE BEST PLACE ON THE TOUR. They gave us brisket and Mac -n- cheese( which they just won an award for) I live on the East Coast and we are not known for good BBQ but being a foodie I do know good food and this place was slammin! The brisket was the best I've ever had and so was the Mac-n-cheese made with some ritz crackers on top. The manager was very friendly and welcoming. They showed us the smokers up close which was very cool. They have 4 different sauces to try all made in house and all delicious. Liked it so much we are going back for dinner. PI PIZZA- Being from the East Coast, New Haven, home of world famous Sally's and Pepe's Pizza I have high standards for pizza. This pizza was not what I'm used to but enjoyed trying it anyway. They served a small pizza for the 3 of us which is extremely generous on a food tour! SHAWARMA KING- kind of a dive place for college kids, kind of while in the wall place. Chicken schwarma was tasty and falafel was average. Owner wasn't talkative or friendly but that's ok. I would eat here if a broke college kid or drunk at 2am but not a place for a first date SEOUL TACO- Korean taco joint. We had a beef taco which was delicious and kimchi rice that was also good. I would go back to this place for sure. PICCIONE PASTRY- they gave each of us a gooey butter cake canoli. St. Louis is famous for gooey butter cake if u didn't know. The cannoli was filled to order and was very good. Very sweet but very good. The tour was about $55 a person and was well worth it. I've been on other food tours across the country and this one gave us the most food for our money. I've been to others where we left hungry but not here! If you take this tour at 11 am like we did I suggest you do not eat breakfast! I would definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting St Louis both for the food and to learn the history. Lastly, the picture attached to my review is for Tracey. We ran into this famous guy as we entered our hotel right after our tour. We wished Tracey was still with us when we met him. Tracey we hope you see this picture and if the company sees this review please show Tracey the pic! Thanks!
