I absolutely adore Main Street St. Charles! Whether it is for the holiday season, warm weather, cold weather- it's just a great fit. It is charming, you're able to support local, they have great spots to grab a bite/ drink, and it's only a 25 minute drive for me. This particular visit we were there during pumpkin glow. I've never been before and wanted to experience the holiday magic. We had plans to grab dinner, shop a bit, and take it all in. Parking can be tricky, so we parked behind the buildings off of main street near the river. The cobblestone and brick building make you feel like you're not in stl anymore- think east coast vibes. During this particular event, pumpkins were lit all throughout the street and made it glow. It was raining, but that didn't stop our stride! We saw performers, people in costume, and tons of decor. It is such a great spot to get a community feel and I cannot wait to come back during the Christmas season!

Walking down Main Street this afternoon was really joyous. Halloween is in the air. Plenty of excitement. Employees in costumes, haystacks, exhibitions, music, kiddos and dogs in the pathways. Happy vibes . Great hustle and bustle. What a great vibe.

This area is so cute! From the brick roads, to all the historic buildings turned shops, cafes, restaurants and bakeries. There is something for everyone here in this charming area. Lots of history and museums within a short distance too. I highly recommend making a stop to come and visit.

One of my favorite places to go! So many cute shops and boutiques like Chuck and Lou, April's on Main, Life is Good and the Cozy Shop just to name a few. So many restaurants and establishments like Big A's on the Ruverfront, Tony's, and Llywellyn's are just a few faves. You can also find a few small museums nearby, like the Lewis and Clark Boathouse and Museum! It's also a great place to stroll and read the placards on the buildings that tell about the history!

I was headed to get dinner with the family in St. Charles and was wondering why the area was so crowded and realized it was the Pumpkin Glow event happening, I had never been to it but apparently it's a big deal and a big deal it was, Main St. has many unique shops that stayed open later than usual for this event, it was music playing, adults and kids walking around in costumes, there was a horse and carriage ride as well, and cute carved lit up pumpkins infront of all of the stores and restaurants. Tonight was a food night to decide to have dinner in St. Charles otherwise I would have missed this wonderful event.

A place that has been popular for over 200 years, remains a great spot to visit today. Historic Main Street in St. Charles is the perfect place to spend a morning, afternoon, or evening near the River. Lewis and Clark new the area was special in 1804. There is something for everyone in Historic Main Street. Small Locally Owned Shops, Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Buildings on the Historic Register, Museums, Lodging, Street Festivals, and Holiday Events are al found on these brick lined streets. Fun for all ages can be found all four seasons of the year. Some of my favorite memories include candlelight Christmas Traditions with family and friends. Some of my favorite stops include Salt and Smoke, Grandma's Cookies, April's on Main, and Picasso's Coffee. There is always a new Gift Shop or Restaurant to explore.

Old St. Charles is quaint and full of historical charm. The shops range from cute and quirky to artsy and beyond, with something for everyone, and there are many nice dining options along the entire length of the brick-paved streets. Great place for a lazy stroll and a day full of fun along the Missouri River.

When my ordered was delivered, instead of an entree, I received an appetizer. I contacted, Erio's and DoorDash. Between them both, my ordered was made correctly and was delivered less than hour of my first delivery! Hands down, Erio's takes pride, not only in their food, but making sure that customers are satisfied with their order and secured in the knowledge that, they'll go above and beyond to make sure your experience and expectations is ! DoorDash also deserves praise as well! Again, 5 stars and 2 thumbs up is definitely deserved! One last note, always remember..if you're not happy with your order or you received a wrong order, contact DoorDash and more importantly, the restaurant. The restaurant will go above and beyond to ensure your order is correct :)

My fiance and I came here for his birthday. It was a gamble since neither of us had been here…read morebefore, but it definitely paid off! We came in on a Monday night, and the restaurant was rather busy, even for it being after 7pm. We were seated promptly by the window. The decor in the place is rather plain and, well, dated, but I'll never be picky about what a place looks like in the regard. Is it clean? Yes! Anyway, we had an opportunity to browse the menu before our waiter made it to our table. Mind you, it was a busy place and he was the only waiter, as far as I could figure out, so we were totally fine with a delay. We ordered an appetizer, mozzarella sticks, and we both ordered manicotti, one with red sauce and one with red/white sauce. I also ordered a side salad to try out their house dressing. Our appetizer came out fairly quickly, along with bread and butter. Both were great! I wished the mozzarella sticks were a bit warmer, but that's just me being picky. It wasn't cold by any means. Our manicotti came out pretty quickly. The presentation was very boring and plain: it was served on a plate, not a baking dish like many other places. However, the flavor? On point! It was sooo good. The pasta specifically tasted very fresh and was almost crepe-like in texture. Seriously tasty. The sauces were equally fantastic and not bland or boring at all. We wanted dessert, but we were so full! Next time we are totally doing dessert because I'm all about some tiramisu. It was a great meal and we will definitely be back. Don't sleep on this place and don't judge it based on the outside (a strip mall) or the decor. It's excellent!

I've been here several times & it's always a good experience! It's located in a shopping center…read more There's both tables & booth and the aesthetic is clean although it still feels homey. There's both tables and booths along the walls. If you're in a larger party I def recommend calling ahead. We've had cocktails here, chicken parm sandwich, grilled chicken panino sandwich, fratellis salad, chicken Alfredo, tutto mare, spaghetti, the al formaggio, and the affogato. Everything has been delicious, fresh, and hot! The only complaint I'd make is that although it says panini for sandwiches they aren't the traditional paninis that are pressed & grilled but instead are just sandwiches so that was disappointing to find out after the fact. The staff are so friendly and attentive we hadn't been for almost 2 months and our waitress still remembered us & what I usually order. I love getting the al formaggio but instead of ravioli I get fettuccine, I love being able to have a portion of all 3 yummy sauces they have. Overall a great restaurant! I love that it's family owned, fresh ingredients, and a lot of stuff made from scratch (complimentary bread is yummy). My only true complaint would be that they don't sell that creamy Italian dressing by the bottle, would totally buy it all the time it's so yummy! Anytime we're in the area we'll be stopping by.

Three of us took the Delmar Loop food tour with our guide Tracey. First I would like to say Tracey…read morewas a wonderful guide with so much knowledge of the area. She told us the history of the loop, what's currently going on and what's up and coming. We could not have asked for a better guide. The food is important but having a good guide I think is equally important. Tracey went above and beyond. We loved her. Five stars for Tracey. Now on to the food. I will list what where we stopped and rate each individual place. SALT AND SMOKE- OMG THE BEST PLACE ON THE TOUR. They gave us brisket and Mac -n- cheese( which they just won an award for) I live on the East Coast and we are not known for good BBQ but being a foodie I do know good food and this place was slammin! The brisket was the best I've ever had and so was the Mac-n-cheese made with some ritz crackers on top. The manager was very friendly and welcoming. They showed us the smokers up close which was very cool. They have 4 different sauces to try all made in house and all delicious. Liked it so much we are going back for dinner. PI PIZZA- Being from the East Coast, New Haven, home of world famous Sally's and Pepe's Pizza I have high standards for pizza. This pizza was not what I'm used to but enjoyed trying it anyway. They served a small pizza for the 3 of us which is extremely generous on a food tour! SHAWARMA KING- kind of a dive place for college kids, kind of while in the wall place. Chicken schwarma was tasty and falafel was average. Owner wasn't talkative or friendly but that's ok. I would eat here if a broke college kid or drunk at 2am but not a place for a first date SEOUL TACO- Korean taco joint. We had a beef taco which was delicious and kimchi rice that was also good. I would go back to this place for sure. PICCIONE PASTRY- they gave each of us a gooey butter cake canoli. St. Louis is famous for gooey butter cake if u didn't know. The cannoli was filled to order and was very good. Very sweet but very good. The tour was about $55 a person and was well worth it. I've been on other food tours across the country and this one gave us the most food for our money. I've been to others where we left hungry but not here! If you take this tour at 11 am like we did I suggest you do not eat breakfast! I would definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting St Louis both for the food and to learn the history. Lastly, the picture attached to my review is for Tracey. We ran into this famous guy as we entered our hotel right after our tour. We wished Tracey was still with us when we met him. Tracey we hope you see this picture and if the company sees this review please show Tracey the pic! Thanks!
