Otterness came under fire after killing a dog that he adopted. This sculpture is in Otterness's trademark style of faceless characters with round body parts. This character happens to be a mouse, as the name implies. It really does resemble a mouse sitting on its rump, with its head cocked to the left. The sculpture is in great shape and has lights that shine on it at night. There is metered street parking available within a reasonable walking distance for those wishing to park and take a closer look. As with most sculptures that I have visited and reviewed, this is not a long stop. I was there less than 15 minutes. So, you may want to consider planning out additional stops at many of the other attractions in the area, or making this stop part of a larger itinerary to maximize your time and trip.

Tower Grove Park is a very special place in St. Louis with many amenities. First of all, there are…read morelots of sidewalks that allow you to walk all around the part. Parking is free along the streets, as marked. There are pavillions that can be rented. There is a regular Farmer's Market, as well as fairs/festivals that take place here throughout the year. There is a fountain where lots of people take photos and a glass enclosed building that is popular for wedding receptions. You will find kickball/softball fields, a playground, and much more. I do recommend you cross streets with caution (don't be staring at your phone!). People often drive fast through the park and you could get hit by a car if you aren't paying attention. It's all along a single road one-way that requires parallel parking. I only participated in the market, but I did see tennis courts and playgrounds. We shared a veal and mushroom risotto between the two of us, and it was perfectly moist, the veal was not overpowering, and it was perfectly cooked. The veal just simply melted in the mouth. My osso buco came on a saffron risotto, and the osso buco was fantastic, tender, and simply delightful. I enjoyed the marrow very much, but I almost wished that the dish came with polenta, not risotto. However, it was still magnificent. We took dessert to go, because we couldn't finish everything at all. However, this is definitely not going to be the last time we come here. The ambience was fantastic, very intimate, darkly lit, but still noisy, with people having fun here. Our service was top of the line, with great humor. Give this place a try. However there were some things warmer than others... my steak was warm, my daughters was cold, her lobster was warm and mine was not. The pork chop was just tepid and the potatoes were just cold. The same went with appetizers, fried artichokes were cold but zucchini was so hot I burned my mouth.... It was much busier when we went last night than when we went for dinner and i left feeling as if they either need more cooks or one that can handle a busy restaurant because the food was just not good.
