St. Clare is a great school. The family centered vibes are amazing, and we have enjoyed being a part of their community. They have new leadership which has helped transform this school into a hidden gem in the Clear Lake area. I would definitely recommend taking a tour and seeing if it is a good fit for you. read more

I got bullied and I told the teachers and they did nothing about it. last year was my grad and we did absolutely nothing because the school was to lazy to organise things. My cousin is graduating this year and they have a Photo Booth and they have a great place to hang out this is so annoying. read more

We have been blessed to find a school that truly cares about our child, as much as we do! The care and compassion that pours out for all students at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School is absolutely God sent! St. Clare Catholic School is commitment to providing, not only a strong Academic Education for it's students but focuses heavily on providing a strong Christian faith foundation. The Principal, Dr. Al connects (in his own way) with every student, which is incredible to witness. You will always see Dr. Al out and about in the halls at school. He is very active and involved as a Principal. Anytime we have needed him, he has answered our call right away and been willing to assist!! His strong leadership is evident, as his teachers have extremely strong connections with each student and again, the compassion that is expressed is just incredible. Our daughter has attended this school for 4 years (going on 5 years this fall 2019) and she started in their PK3 program. The student to teacher ratio is low and makes a big difference. Our daughter gets more one on one time with her teachers and more dedication to her education and learning style. Several teachers over the years have even stayed after school to help our child when she has struggled with grasping different concepts or subjects. We appreciate how the school pairs older students with younger ones and allows "mentor opportunities" for children to learn from one another. Our daughter has friends in lots of different grades and even teachers in other grades know something about our child. Additionally, we Love all the charitable work that the school does for our community! We are proud our daughter has the opportunity to participate and be apart of making a difference for others... which she started these charitable acts of giving, when she was 4 years old-- thanks to St. Clare Catholic School! From food to clothing drives for the needy, animal shelter donation drives and fundraisers to help support continue educational needs. The School choir even went out and sang at various nursing homes and other schools this year. St. Clare of Assisi Catholic School is a great place to be! Father Vincent is the head Priest and is very involved with the school, operations and expectations. He knows every child by name and truly wants each child to succeed and excel in life! The school's "Specials" teachers-- well simply put... are extraordinarily gifted! The Computer, Spanish, Religious Ed, Art, Music Teachers are so talented and passionate about sharing their "field of expertise" with the students. The PE coach is very encouraging and uplifting as are all the staff! With both of us being working parents, it is a blessing to know that we have the support of the school in so many ways-- our child attends the after school program. Which provides the right amount of fun and continued learning (homework assistance.) We are grateful and blessed to have found a school that truly strives each day to nurture and grow our child's heart, mind, body and soul through education and faith! read more

A wonderful school. My son has been going here for 4 years. They helped with my son's strong foundation. We are a big family here. All parents and students are on the same page. Teachers really care and they really challenge the students. Try this school you won't be disappointed. read more

I have three children here and the way the timing works I will likely have a year with all four attending St Clare at the same time. I suppose that makes us a "good Catholic family". I couldn't be happier with the level of attention my children get from the faculty and the administration. Dr. Al has always been attentive and willing to listen. My daughter started going to St Clare of Assisi school in January of this year for pre-k 3. She had a great teacher, so lovely and friendly. My daughter was in love with her teacher and the school. The stuff in the school were not that friendly and understandable though. My daughter has a medical condition that makes her tired, having fever, and not able to walk some days. I received a call from the school asking me to come pick up my daughter because she is sick. I had to explain to them my daughter's condition and get papers from her doctors that explain that her disease is not contagious. I thought that incident passed, and we are going to have smoothly academic years ahead at that school. In the beginning of this month, I received a call from the school that my daughter has a fever, and I have to go get her from the nursing room. I ran to the school, when I get there, I asked the lady there how much they gave my daughter Motrin. She said that they are not allowed to give medicine, and I was persistent that I gave them a permission to give her Motrin for fever because fever is not good for her. That lady told me that the school nurse is absent, and I have to talk to the principal about my objections. Few days later, my husband and I met with the principal and my daughter's teacher because the teacher did not respect our food restrict, and she was trying to give my daughter food that we don't allowed her to eat. Anyway I asked the principal about giving my daughter's Motrin and the statement that I provided for the school. He told me that he does not care about my statement, and he is not going to give my daughter medicine in the school even though we had papers from Texas children hospital about that in the same day that we had the meeting in, and in the file from the previous academic year. From my experience , It is not a good school for any child with a medical condition or special diet. Not recommended. read more
