This makes all the difference in the world. We also noticed that the calmness of the classroom helps him stay focused. He has matured and learned so many different things within the short time that he has been in attendance and we couldn't be happier. Our only regret is not doing this sooner. They fostered a love of learning in him and helped him to build strong vocabulary skills very early on. Because we did not move to Clear Lake until my oldest was 18 months, he attended two other schools (including Creme de la Creme) and had a nanny prior to MSODT. If I had to do it again, he would have started at MSODT right away. Creme did not offer educational focus in the way that MSODT did. You can tell that all of the staff in the School of Infants really care in a way I didn't find with other programs. While my oldest had a slower start, MSODT Clear Lake gave him the foundation he needed and now he loves math and reading and is in the GT program. Almost every child I know who attends this school ends up skipping a grade in public school or is at the very top of their class and GT. I couldn't recommend this school more. They are fantastic in their focus to build a love of learning.

In 2 months we have seen growth far beyond what we expected. We were concerned our son would be upset about the amount of time he spends at Huntington, but the instructors invest in him and he feels valued, making it a positive experience that he has come to enjoy. Our investment, both in term of time and money, seemed significant at first. However, after seeing just the early results, I cannot think of a single thing we have invested in with a better return. We look forward to his continued progress.

As I sought clarification, she sharply interrupted me and accused me of "having an attitude". This is a tried and true micro aggression that she had no problem throwing around which shows she felt she had the right to control my tone all while hers was one of disrespect and condescension. When I attempted to express my confusion, Ms. Conn's response was to rashly announce that she would "just take him off our list." Throughout our conversation, Ms. Conn wielded her words and tone like a weapon, showcasing an unsettling display of privilege and power. As the school leader, we expected her to foster a sense of collaboration and partnership in the enrollment process, bridging the gap between families, students, and other school stakeholders. Instead, we encountered an individual who took pleasure in her gatekeeping role, someone who reveled in the ability to dictate, limit, and control access. Ms. Conn's entire attitude was unarguably condescending, her demeanor cold, and her empathy was nowhere to be found. We consider ourselves fortunate that we could glimpse her true nature before we made the mistake of entrusting our son's education and emotional well-being to her. Zero stars.

I don't like saying anything bad about this school because they are great but some rules just don't make sense. Everyone can't afford to pay 18 dollars for a sweatshirt by a certain time. If the kid is in uniform that should be all that matters. Then you have the kids who do have the sweatshirt telling the kids who don't that they have to take their jackets off like they enjoy seeing them being cold.
