They go above and beyond to care for my children, and help them become super prepared for kindergarten. Mrs Thuy helped all of my kids with potty training right when they're ready. Ms Hoa is our favorite, she is so nurturing and caring for my nervous middle child! Mrs Cindy is firm but necessary in my opinion for the older kids. She taught my kids to read during their last year before graduation. The Directors, Ms Tanya and Ms. Tracy were the cherry on top, making me feel at ease to leave my children when I'm working all day. I couldn't recommend Sunflower enough!

Also, in the state of California, parents are generally allowed to access areas where their children are present, especially in licensed childcare settings. Knowing that made this policy feel even more concerning. As a parent, feeling comfortable and reassured about your child's environment is extremely important, and I didn't get that sense here. I would recommend proceeding with caution or exploring other options that allow for more openness and peace of mind.

My three year old at the time was attending another daycare that only accepted children age two and up. I wanted both of my kids in the same place, so I enrolled them here and I am so grateful I did. My son started here when he was about 11 months old, and from the very beginning you could tell the staff genuinely love and have a true passion for children. My daughter started when she was three and was very shy and scared at first, but her teachers and the staff made her feel so comfortable. She was able to be herself here, just like she is at home. I truly love all the staff and the amazing events they put together. They make every holiday so special and fun for the kids Halloween, Easter, open house events, picture days, and so much more. You can really tell how much effort and love they put into creating these moments, and that's something I truly appreciate as a parent. They even allowed me to have a birthday lunch for my daughter's 4th birthday, and she was beyond thrilled. For my son's 1st birthday, they also made it feel so special. Those little moments mean everything, and it shows how much they truly care about each child. My daughter is now four, turning five, and will be graduating with her TK class. Thanks to this daycare, she already knows her ABCs and colors in Spanish, which is amazing. My one year old son already knows his colors, loves singing, and absolutely loves everyone here. What I also really appreciate is that if there is ever an issue or concern, the staff communicates it kindly and respectfully. It's such a warm, joyful environment for learning. When my toddler started at Dragonfly Academy, she was still on diapers, and I was lucky if I could get her to even sit on the toilet. Thanks to the patient and dedicated teachers, she's now fully potty-trained! It warms my heart to see how much she loves her teacher, Ms. Huong, and how excited she is to talk about her classmates.
