DONT GO HERE! So Bummed!!! So disappointed. Was supposed to get a massage and a scalp treatment and was only given a scalp treatment. When i checked out the girl up front was using the fakest voice and expressions ever, all she cared about was the tip and kept asking if I was going to tip. Please put someone else's upfront who will care about the customers and not just use fake voice and no sympathy. I woke up today and realized I look 50 all of the sudden. My wife suggested I get a facial. She booked one for me with Rosa and it was really a great overall experience especially for the price. I just had shoulder surgery so she took extra care to make sure I was comfortable. I have to admit I was skeptical but it was way worth it. read more

While I'm not a person that visits Spas on a regular basis I thoroughly enjoyed my facial with Marla yesterday. I didn't know my head could hold so much stress. I had the European 60 minute. When we arrived the staff was friendly and inviting. The place is esthetically pleasing to the eye. There wasn't a big push for me to have to purchase product which I am grateful for. I come here once a year around New Years when my family travels to St George, and I think it's the best spa in the area! I've gotten multiple facials and they've all been fantastic. Esthetician was sweet as pie with a fantastic bedside manner and chipper attitude. The wax, though, was way, way too hot. I thought I would have redness, but I have actually lost enough skin to expose raw, moist skin. I have a business trip this week and will be attending with scabs across my forehead and eyelids. It hurts really bad. I have been holding frozen peas on it. I hate complaining and only say something when the situation is bad enough that I would want to know if I were looking at reviews. read more

I was in today and got a pedicure,and for $50 I think my whole calf should have at least been scrubbed or decently massaged... it was fancy and very nice ambiance but that isn't as important to me as a decent massage. Called hoping to get a same day spa appointment and they were able to get me in for a facial with Traci ... best facial I've had in years (and I'm a facial connoisseur). She had the best touch, gave great hand massage, was soft spoken and was so relaxing and calming. No hard sell on the products she used on me but I did end up getting the lip balm which I love! One of the WORST experiences I ever had. It was unfortunate because I had been going to this spa for a while. The front desk staff was very friendly and all, but the massage therapist assigned to me was horrible and had no sense of customer service. First, she didn't ask me if I needed anything before the treatment (like if I need to use the bathroom, etc.), she also gave confusing instructions about the position, and then to top it off, she asked me to hold off going to the bathroom or she won't finish the massage when I asked her I badly needed to pee. UNBELIEVABLE.... These folks need to be more SENSITIVE to their customers' needs and not their own convenience. I was charged to pay in FULL when the massage was not finished only because I chose to save my bladder. I was even asked if I want to put in gratuity for an unsatisfactory job... :( NEVER going back again. read more

I got a hot stone massage from Marissa, she was very sweet and kind. She used great pressure and got some knots out that I needed out. The other review sounds like an ad person, but I really went here mostly out of desperation...after moving from Chicago it was hard to find a really good masseuse and everyone needs one!!! The prices are on par with everyone else, about $60 to $70 for an hour depending on the massage (I believe reflexology is only offered for a half hour at $25.) Its in a strip mall place, not very impressive, but once you get inside its as classy as any other spa I've been to. In fact it was quite nice! They lead you into a 'relaxation' room while you wait/fill out forms. Its dark and there is tea, coffee and cocoa for your relaxation plus little snacks (mostly peanuts...need more chocolate.) My masseuse, Arika (I hope I'm spelling that right) was on time and quite a delight, just a lovely woman in addition to her actual skills as a masseuse. I've tried other massages in St. George and they left me desiring something...they didn't quite 'do' it for all my back and neck pain. She got it all. In addition you can add various services for about $5 (body butter massage, various oils, a foot scrub) and boy you get more than your monies worth for that!!! I looked over the brochure as this is a full day spa (right down to various anti aging treatments) and it seemed well priced and generous for what it was. I may come back someday for a pedicure though I've never done one, but the price was decent, the people were nice and the place was pure class. I will definitely be back and I'm recommending it to everyone I know. Update: Been going here several more months with excellent service. Had a pedicure and while the lady who did my feet was very kind and did the general service...she said my feet weren't 'that bad'...and trust me they were the callouses from the dry air were horrific (thus why I paid for the service). She didn't get it all but it did help me break through it the next week on my own. So I'd skip the pedicure if you need something seriously done, but take it for relaxation. We also had my niece do the 'kid' pedicure (for 14 and under). She's 3 so we were a little worried how well this would go. The lady who did her feet (I feel bad I can't remember her name, but she was excellent) knew how to work with kids and coaxed her into relaxing. My niece liked her so much she let her take a photo of her done feet to show her parents! This woman was truly excellent so for all services I've had done here the masseuses and pedicurists are excellent and friendly. read more

I recommend scheduling for later in the day to make it more relaxing since less people are there. The massage was perfect pressure and the facial left my face so clean and hydrated. My friend and I met for a girls weekend in St George for the weekend. We had the Great Escape spa package: massage, facial, and pedicure. It was wonderful! The massage therapist, Suzanne, was excellent. I went in with a headache and she worked on my problem areas and did an overall fantastic job! I added a scalp massage to my treatment for $5. One the best massages ever! My friend had a male therapist (I didn't catch his name) and she said he was excellent as well. The facial was excellent ( I forgot the name of the esthetician, but she was knowledgable and great at her work!). She also did my pedicure. The price for the package was also very good! Seriously this guy has magic hands and is incredible. I have a had quite a few massages in my day, it's something I find not just a luxury, but necessity for joyful living. These hands are a gift! He's attentive, thoughtful, has innate skill, awareness and attention to detail. He exudes humility and kindness. Yet, those fingers have a bold and delicious feeling as they attack all the right places. Dare I suggest you go for the full 80 minutes, anything less is just a tease. I was in town visiting Zion and decided to have a spa day. I used to work for a resort spa and I have several friends who are aestheticians so my standards are super high. A friend from home who is in the beauty industry recommended this place so I gave it a try. I had a hot stone massage and the European facial. Both were absolutely lovely! When you pay for a 50 minute massage, you should receive what you paid for. I arrived early to make sure I had ample time for check-in. Appt was for 1 o'clock. They don't have you get changed until your appt. time. Therapist came to "quiet room" to get me at a few minutes after 1. Then walk me to the room-I still need to change my clothes.( massage time) leave me waiting on table another 5 minutes...now we're 10 minutes in before any actual massage. Massage was 35-40 minutes tops. Whitney was great, I just think they're not giving what customers are paying for. The friend I went with had the same experience. read more

If you are a seasoned spa goer you will be very disappointed. Too much happening in a modest space that makes the experience anything but relaxing. Sadly the relaxation waiting room is filled with oversized leather furniture and whether one is in street clothes -or naked under a robe between treatments- everyone is crowded in together. Staff therapists seem overworked and they were cleaning pedi tools in the same room as the pedi baths. Other staff ran through with laundry while we were having the pedi. Facials did not include steam with extraction. ?? The organic facial left my face feeling like I needed to wash it after having coconut oil rubbed in for a very long time. We left $450 to pay for massages, pedis and facials. Not overpriced but not worth it either. read more

I came in 15 minutes early for my treatment. I was taken to the "relaxation lounge" which was anything but relaxing as it was filled with young college girls talking loudly about boys they've hooked up with. My therapist was running late and the treatment started 15 minutes after it was originally scheduled. I booked the body wrap and facial. The facial was a total joke. There was no steam to open the pores - how is that even a facial?! Basically the girl washed my face and put on a mask. No steam. No extractions. Nothing. When the "facial" was over and the body wrap removed, I looked at the clock and only an hour had passed. The session should have been 90 minutes. Nothing about this experience was worth what I was charged. Beyond a disappointment. read more

Very cute ambiance, a lot of nice products you can buy, has a nice quiet room that you can decompress in before getting a massage or facial. My massage was wonderful! One of the best I've had! Loved the complimentary essential oils they used! They wrap your feet in warm towels during the massage which was wonderful! 5 stars for the massage! Following my massage, I got a manicure and it was the worst thing I've ever had to pay for. I could and have done a better job on myself! My nails were briefly soaked in cold water, slathered lotion on my hands (no massage or warm towel or anything) and then just laer on top of layer of nail polish on top of each other so it was glumpy and tacky (no nail drying station). The paint around the cuticle was bumpy and uneven which resulted in my polish coming off the next day. (They didn't have "time" to do shellac, but she had to remove my polish numerous times on numerous nails because it kept getting nicked while she did another nail or it got gloopy. Would have been way faster to do the shellac and had it hard set then having to constantly redo nails. (Watched ladies get full hot stone pedicures with shellac while I got my simple manicure, and mine took just as long with 1/8 of the amenities). I hate leaving bad reviews but if you want a massage, this place is great, but if you're looking for a manicure stay far far away. (Manicurist was super nice and personable, just not her strong suit, hoping she's better at facials!) read more

Lestie gave me a great facial and 2 perfect eyebrows that work for my features. Besides the great staff, what I appreciated the most is that the experience felt genuine and not pretentious. This spa is below average. I gave it a fair chance and went enough times (maybe 6-10) to earn a free service. First, I was searching for a person to do my eyebrows. The girl who did them was ok, and again, I gave her a couple tries, but gave up after asymmetrical brows more than once. The massage therapists are mediocre. I used the free service for a manicure and it was horrible. Immediately upon returning home, I removed the sloppy polish. If it wasn't feee, I would have complained. Needless to say, I will never patronize this establishment again. After living in Southern Utah for awhile, I've learned there are no high quality salons in this area. Went in for a mani/pedi...not impressed. The ambiance lighting was nice but I didn't notice there were bubbles in my manicure until I got outside! The employee probably couldn't see them either and if she could shame on her! Half of my fingernails have bubbles. The pedicure station was not comfortable and the employee sent me out the door before the pedi could dry. Went straight home and my big toe was missing paint. Will not go here again. read more

I did the desert spa package. I think that's what it is called anyway. $200 for a stone massage, European facial, and a manicure and pedicure. I think it's been a great deal and a great experience. My only semi complaint, I guess I'm old school, but I don't like talking during a massage. I prefer to relax and drift but the lady talked the whole 80 mins and I couldn't relax. She was VERY friendly and like able. And she was good. But I just don't like talking while relaxing. My facial was great. And they went through so many extra steps with my pedicure and manicure.
