Visiting town for the holidays and was in need of a new gelx set before New Years. It was Sunday and most places were closed but came across Tina Nails and saw good reviews on Google so thought I'd give it a try. I was able to get an appointment with Linda and so happy I did! She absolutely ate! I was worried trying a new salon while on vacation but was in good hands. Completely understood the assignment and brought good vibes. The salon itself is clean, provides a calm atmosphere and has friendly service. Located on the corner of a shopping strip, there's plenty of parking in the front. Highly recommend Linda! read more

I knew going in this was probably not going to be the best experience but I do like to give places and people a fair try. Upon booking my reservsation I requested two specific ladies that I saw from pics were good with designs. I was told they are on vacation and two other technicians were reccommend to me that can do designs. I emphasized I wanted a design and the gentleman on the phone says these other two names can do it. Red flags already. I get there and of course the guy who is about to do my nails says he cant do designs. I knew it. He pawns me off on a very nice nail tech name Sophia. Sophia was moving very very slow on my manicure. She lacked confidence for sure but I wanted to give her a fair chance. To remove the beautiful gel manicure I had before, she used that nail file drill thing which I hate. I suggested foil which she did but still the damage was done. My nails were filed very uneven. The polish is bubbly in spots, and not completely covering my nail in others. Surprise, she couldnt do the design. It was a very simple flower. She tried though. The owner Tina did it. I just dont understsnd why I was put in this position at all. The gentlemen who makes reservations should have made sure I was given a tech who could do what I asked. If he wasnt sure, he should have asked instead of just meeting a quota of techs to clients. When the owner Tina did my design she saw how badly my nails were done but also did nothing. Pay attention to how they are charging you .. They really are scamming people. They will make fools of you if you're not on top of it . & they are fully aware of what they are doing. (They will give you one price for add ons but then add more when it's time to pay . On top of that when paying Tina added another $5 from the receipt price that the technician gave me to give to her & called her out on it She apologized and fixed the mistake . Then I asked to clarify how much was a specific service because each time I go it changes She said it's been a month that they up'd the price Yet I physically saw her charge someone something different . read more

Nevada's lockdown has been rough on my nails. Before this all began, I got a full set on my nails, so removing them wasn't exactly an option without experiencing a bunch of pain. Plus, I just feel better when my nails are done. I got a few friends on board to trek from Las Vegas to St. George with me to get our nails done. My friends got pedicures and I got an acrylic fill with gel polish. We made appointments all around, but we still had to wait about 20 minutes. This was probably because they wanted to keep my friends together while they got their pedicures. My friends all reported that their pedicures were amazing and some of the best they've ever had. Danny did my nails and he did a great job. My nails feel and look a lot better since I got them done. Depending on how long Nevada's lockdown continues, I may be back for another fill. I completely understand that there may be a wait a couple times but every single time I make an appointment I am always waiting. I received a pedicure and acrylic fill on my visit. I had called and made an appointment for about the time they open on Sundays. The owner was 15 minutes late to even open up and the employee that was circling the parking lot said this happens a lot- which is whatever. Pedicure was great- nail tech took their time and no complaints there! Really good foot and leg massage. Sanitary tools were used on my feet- thank God for that. I don't remember who I was sat with for my acrylic fill with gel polish. I was very specific about the color I wanted and shape. The nail tech does the manicure, files away the old gel and acrylic and burns my skin multiple times while she's filing away. I told her your hurting me and she just kept saying ' sorry, stop moving' or 'stop watching'. I WAS MOVING BECAUSE MY HAND WAS JERKING FROM THE PAIN. She proceeded to work on the fill. It's was incredibly thin, because she filed it all off after applying it. On top of my hands and nails hurting, I was bugged. I mentioned that the acrylic was super thin. She said it looks more natural- not so thick. My natural nails- are incredibly thin, they bend an peel super easily, which is why I get acrylic in the first place. She has me pick out a color- I love a nude pink that is somewhat opaque and that's what I picked out. So I thought. She proceeds to apply the gel and the color wasn't what I had wanted but I thought maybe it just needs a few coats. No this was entirely the wrong color, which I was told ' well that's what you picked'. This is not a nude pink or even opaque and even if it was, it did not match what I picked out from the swatches. I was honestly too tired to argue at this point.. I asked for some sparkle on my ring finger nails and she proceeded to do a powder thing on my nails and then add it to all my nails because ' it look better' but never mentioned I'd be charged an additional cost per nail for it. I only found out when I checked out because for a basic pedi and fill it was $95 total?! I also would like to mention that at some point she stepped on my foot and smudged the pedicure which was an honest accident. She had me sit in a chair so she could quickly fix it after she had done my nails. She pretty much just threw polish over the toe she smudged and left it at that. Again I was seriously too tired to argue or say anything. My nails hurt for days after this appointment. I thought about calling but to be honest I just didn't have a good feeling and didn't care about them fixing it or making it right.. The nail person I saw a about week later because the acrylic was lifting(which I'd never had happen before) and because I honestly hated how the nails turned out. She stopped at one point and asked who did my nails? She then said I had the 'ring of fire' on multiple nails and my nail bed was super damaged from it. I am done. I have come here many times, but I just cant get a good pedicure anymore. The "menu" for a basic pedicure says they will remove callouses. Most times they "foot shame" me and then want an additional $5 to remove callouses. This time the guy was finished from filling the tub to drying in 20 minutes. I didn't realize he wasn't going to work on my callouses until he was painting the nails. He didn't push back the cuticles at all, he barely filed, threw on some oil and a couple hot stones for a minute or two and then painted. I told her I was pissed on the way out and she said callouses are $5 extra. No, this photo was just found is on their website. Well... sorry Tina, you lost my business. Their A/C was broken, but we decided to endure the heat even though some people got up and left. My pedicure was fine. Kathleen did a nice job. Unfortunately, during the same appointment my daughter had a gel manicure done for her birthday and it was a bit of a struggle to find someone to do the design she wanted. It was finally done and it was okay. We were there for 2 hours. The main reason I'm writing this review: Tina's had texted her a $5 coupon to use for her birthday, but the man who charged us didn't apply it. I asked repeatedly for him to apply it and even though he said he would, he didn't. Why send out a coupon you're not willing to honor? If I could rate negative 5 I would. I came in here today hoping I could find a new nail place since I seem to have terrible luck in town finding somewhere consistently doing good nails. I'll link what I asked for and what I got. It took 2 1/2 hrs for a fill!! Kevin did my nails at first and I asked if they could do good designs, he said he'd do my nails and Tina can do designs. My nails were left lumpy, crooked, none of them even match in size or thickness, half aren't even filled properly. I get to Tina and she can see he absolutely destroyed my nails so she re did them & they're still awful. She said the design was so easy but couldn't even find a milky white color I asked for. I kept telling her I didn't like it and eventually just gave up. I knew no matter what I said it was gonna be bad. I told her it took way too long and I didn't even want the design anymore but she insisted. She put some tacky ass stickers on them that don't even match or fit & have weird wording on them?? I told her I didn't like them but was so over it at this point. Then she charged me $50 and asked if I wanted to leave a damn tip? I told her no. I left in tears. This place used to be decent but man has it gone downhill. Tina & her husband were arguing infront of customers about finances and personal issues. I actually love this salon. It's the only nail salon I go to besides Paul Mitchell. They are so accommodating and fun in there. They do have a diverse staff and they are located right next to the pie place. Everyone has a good attitude and the chairs give you a nice massage. read more

So the first photo is what I asked for and the second is what I got.... Both pictures are of my hands. These people are HORRIBLE at nails and they are SCAMMERS!!! When it came time to pay they wanted to charge me $60 for an acrylic fill in.... It's $40 online. They told me they charge PER COLOR... well no one told me that... the owner proceeded to yell at me and told me it's in the manual.... They never gave me a manual... she told me I'm suppose to ask for one.... How am I suppose to ask for something that I don't know exists? I'm new in town and get my nails done every 2 weeks religiously, they made a mistake by treating me this way. Prices are suppose to be visible in nail salons posted on the wall! Charging per color is unheard of but hiding it from the customer is even worse. I will be reporting them to the BBB. Told me that my nail couldn't be straight because it was "the way your nail grows is crooked" EVEN AFTER I HAD ACRYLIC TIPS ADDED FOR LENGTH!!!! I had a basic color with one stripe up the middle of one nail. I could've done a better job myself and my own nail had a better shape. The one line is both crooked and thicker in some areas than others of the line. My thumb has a LITERAL LEDGE edge before my almond shaped nail even begins! I told the tech 4 TIMES that it didn't look good and he just kept blaming it on me. Once the tech was done, he knew that I was frustrated and still charged me full price even after i had worked out with the owner to have a discount!!!!!! I told them that I would've loved to have left a tip but wasn't very pleased. He then said that "they work very hard and are tired" I'm sorry but just because you're tired doesn't mean that you don't show up and do your job right and with the quality that the customer deserves. Waited an hour. Just an ok pedicure. Nothing spectacular. Open on Sundays. Seemed clean enough. I'm gonna try somewhere else next time just to see if there's something better. I asked for a firm massage it's wasn't. To buff your nails they use a drill which is just lazy. My friend got the dipped nails after waiting 2 hours in 1 day it came off. I got my nails done here a week ago--a gel manicure. I was in and out in less than 20 min...and it shows. They are peeling off after just a week. I'm not sure the man's name who did my nails but he didn't do a good job at all! They were filed poorly--some even crooked. At one point I used the mail file myself to correct his mistakes. He also failed to completely take the old gel polish off and you can see it under my new color. They look awful. They didn't look great when I left the store, but I was rushed for time so I thought they were ok. As I was paying during check out the woman who cashed me out tried to salvage what he had done...and began filing my nails, adding cuticle oil...anything help them look more presentable. Wouldn't recommend. Unless you're looking for a quick manicure that lasts just a few days...and looks mediocre. Don't go!! read more

This place has been a bad experience both times we have gone. Anytime they do kids/teens they make zero effort and are way overpriced. This last time my daughter got gel nails. The nail tech cut her fingers in 2 places and the paint was sloppy and messy. He didn't let her choose the color she wanted and couldn't do the design she wanted. When it came time to tip we said no and they asked why and we told them so they had someone do the design she wanted and still charged full price plus extra for the design. $40. I just took my husband for his first pedicure and I can't stop laughing because I wanted him to know "This is not the typical experience!!" You typically get spoken to abruptly, the massage chairs are broken, and you never know how much you are going to pay. Haha This salon was bright, and clean, and beautiful inside. The massage chairs are new and work well, the interior decor matched and had a great vibe throughout. The salon workers were all incredibly friendly but didn't force conversation on me. They handed me a "salon" menu so I was able to see all pricing up front and the descriptions of each pedicure style was clear. The pricing was fair $25 for a standard pedicure, $35 for the deluxe (includes a sugar scrub and lower leg massage) $45 for a upgrade which included hot stones, paraffin wax and hot towel wrap. They definitely overcharged me for a 50 dollar manicure and 35 dollar pedicure. I tried calling and they said that they would call me back it has been almost threes days and haven't gotten a call back. also I just wanted a gel manicure and they told me no "my nails are to week and to short" so they forced me to get dip powder. the Pedicure was amazing 10/10 but after that definitely not. the guy also yelled at me for watching while he did my manicure he said that " it wont turn out as good if I watch". definitely not going there ever again. There is a complete lack of courtesy here. They will make an appt for you and then you arrive and sit waiting well past your appt time....like 30 + mins. Their time and money is all that seems to matter. Really unfortunate that they can't see what a disservice they are doing to their business. Won't return....obviously! And their response says it all. I made an appointment for a birthday pedicure/manicure. My pedicure was great! Definitely recommend. However I'm really disappointed with my gel manicure I picked a nice glittery black but it's still so light that I can see through... definitely not what I wanted. Another thing is when I was checking out I wanted to use my birthday $5 off coupon however the white guy who checked me out didn't even apply it he just told me "Next time" in a very rude tone. I even showed him the text but he still ignored and rang it up without my coupon. What is the point of sending out coupons if you aren't going to allow your customers to use them?
