They have a menu board filled with sandwiches and wraps and there's something for pretty much everyone on the menu. They also have focaccias and pre-made sandwiches down in the glass case that are very yummy. There are two vegetarian options but anything can be made vegetarian. You can make a custom sandwich as well so you've got quite a few options. The only real negatives are that they sometimes take a while to take your order because it gets busy and the 'sandwich artists' don't know who arrived before who but that just means you need to speak up, which I'm not so good at. And the other negative is that it's quite expensive. A roll costs 8.90 and a sandwich costs 7.90 but if you're looking for a filling, healthy option among fast food, it's worth it. They also have halal and gluten free options, just let the staff know :)

Once I did find it I was welcomed by friendly staff. Basic toasties at $7.50 and more adventurous toasties are $9.50, each with about 2 or 3 different ingredients. Looks like each toastie takes max 5 minutes to make and if you dine in, it comes with a little salad too. I tried the Tandoori Chicken toastie on recommendation from the staff and was not disappointed. Coffee was pretty good too. Great for a quick lunch if you're in the area, don't forget to leave a note on the blackboard too!

It's conveniently located in the newly revamped (check out all the new stores!) Central Market arcade, best located near the entrance coming in from Gouger St. The 'gourmet' toasties start form $9.50, they also do house shakes etc and a whole slew of other brilliant creations. If sweet toasties are you thing, they do that too! I got the roast pork, sauerkraut and cheese toastie with pumpkin bread which was pretty damn good. It comes with a salad as well which makes the meal perfect! I also go the Agro milkshake - give them a go! It wasn't until a friend drove me to his favourite shop that I got to try the great selection. The guys Adam and Joe took over from the original owners and cakes are made specially by Marissa. On this visit I tried only the ice cream and gelato. It was very tasty and will have to work through all of them to find my favourite. There are not many tables inside and it is a very casual setting. What I did notice was the large number of people coming through the door for a takeaway ice cream. I'll be back.

They make a great coffee and have pretty much all of the essentials you might urgently need in the kitchen. This deli is open all of the time, from about 7am until about 7pm every day - including Christmas day, which has come in SO handy. There are tables and chairs and they encourage people to dine in the shop to create more of a cafe atmosphere - and they're succeeding. In the past few years, I have seen business increase to such an extent that I avoid going there during weekday lunch hours, where all the local tradies and council workers come for lunch, and somehow - the people serving manage to keep track of all of their names, orders and stories.
