I transferred my kids to this school 5 years ago, having come from another Catholic school where we did not feel part of the family. At St. Hilary, I was welcomed in, and made to feel part of the community right away. I have seen the school go through many changes over the past five years, and like many families, we have had our issues, but like a good family, we work things out. I am proud to say my children attend St. Hilary. Everyone that visits the school, and/or interacts with the children, when they go on field trips, say that they are some of the best behaved children they have ever come across, very polite and well mannered. Yes, the school needs some "upgrades", but those are temporary things that can be worked on, the important thing is that the staff and other families generally care about the kids. I could not ask for a better experience for my kids. read more

Excellent school with small classes and amazing teachers. Definitely a great community

My granddaughter has been attending school here for 3 yrs now she started in kindergarten, we have been happy here and she's very happy in a loving environment, the teachers go out of there way to make the school a warm and safe place. Our grandson will start in the fall , were excited to have them together and learn and grow in this school community. Distant learning was definitely not foreseen for my child's first year in school. It has been a learning experience and I feel the staff and principal have made it a smooth process. I grew up going to church here and attended catechism and knew the priests and faculty to be always loving and supportive. My oldest son attended public school and I just didnt like what I saw over the years and its decline. I wanted better for my daughter and I wanted her faith to be the ground-floor for that. I cant express how wonderful all the teachers are, from Ms. Martin to Ms. Sanchez (LOVE HER) to the caring principle Ms.Sedano. My son graduated from St. Hilary and is now at San Jose State majoring in Aerospace Engineering. At St. Hilary he developed a great foundation that set him up for success in high school and beyond. Not to mention lifelong friends that are now like family. My daughter is now in her 8th grade year and her cohort started when the St. Hilary preschool opened. The teachers and staff are amazing, the curriculum is second to none and each child is treated with care. My daughter has been attending this school for 6yrs. I love how the classes are small in size and each teacher gets to know their students on a personal level. I've had the pleasure and honor of being apart of this school for the past 3 years as maintance/janitor. The changes that have been going on for the past 2 years tells you were .we are headed. The school has restored classrooms that needed to be addressed . The outside has an updated paint job that has been in much need.
