My son transitioned through all the classrooms with Ms. Brenda, Ms. Rosie, Ms. Maribel, Ms. Sky and Ms. Maria and had a wonderful experience with each one and still remembers them all. They genuinely care and we shared a lot of milestones here from crawling, walking, potty training and all the way to basic reading, writing and learning math. When I started my second son at 1yo, they also easily helped him adjust with the new environment and the schedule within days. They run a very structured program, which we like and always include learning language, reading, math, art, music and other activities. We also really like how they provided a fun summer program for the kids. My eldest was very well prepared academically and socially for Kindergarten after aging out of this learning center. Ms. Ana, the director, is wonderful and also very understanding. She's always on top of things, communicates any immediate concerns and always provides good support to us working parents and the kids. We truly appreciate this school, their teachers and our overall experience here have been a big blessing to our family.

I appreciate the healthy/variety of food and snacks provided while being mindful of high allergic foods. I also like the different activities they schedule each day with the kids. His teachers Kim, Maribel, sky and Melissa to name a few are very sweet and nice - they have shown lots of care and kindness towards my little guy. They have talked to me about baby's day to day behavior and I have felt comfortable to bring up questions/concerns as well. My son's primary teacher Ms Perla warmly took us walk around the whole school and answered our questions patiently. We were all impressed by Ms Perla's professionalism and patience, and also the well arranged schedules and activities designed by Sprout Preschool. Then we send our son here. Sprout Preschool has provided so many creative classes and activities that help kids grow intellectually and emotionally. My son is enthusiastic about learning and exploring the world before we joined their preschool classes. He shows so many signs that he has a huge improvement in understanding, emotions and practical ability. We appreciate it immensely. I have been blown away at the preparation, care and dedication the staff has shown to our children during this unprecedented time. It's not easy to teach this age group and it's even more of a challenge to do it ONLINE, but theses teachers have stepped up and taken that challenge head on! The first 2.5 weeks of the stay at home order were hard for my kids; No school, no friends and they didn't understand what was going on. As soon as classes rolled out online they look forward to seeing their teachers and classmates daily! Here we are 6 weeks later and we have been doing themed weeks, worksheets, online songs and videos, ALL ONLINE! But what really blew my mind was our green room teacher taking the time to have the students do a Mother's Day card! That's right...arts and crafts online , it made me feel so special and appreciated that she would be so thoughtful to do that for us. As a teacher myself I know how difficult distance learning is and I cannot express my gratitude and love for this school and staff!

Luckily, I have Yelp as a platform to voice my concerns since St. Matthew's tried to silence my family. I'm here to let others know that we voiced our concerns, in writing and at a Parent's Meeting, about huge safety issues at this school. The fact that anyone can walk onto the school campus and into the classrooms is mind blowing. The classrooms are all unlocked during school hours. There are absolutely no locked gates to monitor visitors. Anyone can drive their car to the back of the playground where the children play without being stopped. With today's ongoing epidemic, you would think safety would be of the upmost concern. After attempting to bring this up at a parents meeting, we were told by the woman who acts as the Preschool Advisory Board Consultant/Interim Director and the five members of The Preschool Advisory Board who were present, that there were more important issues to address. I'm sorry, but when did our children's safety become insignificant? Ten days after writing our letter and attending the parent's meeting, I was called in for a meeting with the Pastor who let me know the Consultant/Interim Director and the Board had decided my child's enrollment with the school was being terminated and that I was refrained from speaking out to any other families/faculty. I cannot make something like this up. I was literally told to grab my child, leave the property and speak to no one! The "Consultant" and the Board should be ashamed of themselves! And every St. Matthew's Preschool family should know that if you speak up, you too may find yourself being ambushed at your child's pick-up, letting you know that your enrollment is terminated. I do however have to say that the teachers, both past and present, were amazing. St. Matthew's managed to lose their Director and 2 teachers in less than a month. If that doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what does! Either way, the teachers that remain are in my opinion why many families stay. St. Matthew's should learn to appreciate and value their faculty because without them and the support of the families, there would be no St. Matthew's Preschool!

I also love that they have cooking activities, which is such a fun way for the kids to learn and explore. Beyond the academics, they put on the cutest little performances for parents to watch, like the Christmas show, which we absolutely loved. We also like that the school focuses on both academics and play. Even starting in preschool, they introduce light homework, which helps build good learning habits early while still keeping things fun. Another thing we love is their focus on community engagement. They bring in local police officers, firefighters, and librarians to talk to the kids about safety and the community. Fridays are especially fun with activities like pizza making, dress-up days, and arts and crafts. They also do a great job celebrating different cultural holidays so every family feels included. Mandarin and Spanish classes are available too (for an additional cost), which is a nice bonus.
