Being first time parents, you can only imagine how nervous we were of leaving our daughter at the beginning and yes, I confess I was always watching the cameras at first but after seeing how they take care of my daughter and every other kid, the trust started building up even more! Every single employee at this site cares so much about every kid and it is shown with every song, hug, and kiss they give the kids! Not only is my daughter completely bilingual but she continues to show me everything she learns at this awesome daycare! Please do not have any doubts that your kids will be in the best hands! This is a long but honest review.My son started when he was 10 months old with their summer…read moreprogram.he only does twice a week for four hours each day in the afternoons.my son has never been watched by anyone else and has very bad separation anxiety.now at first I just dropped him off and left him figured maybe that would be easier it's not.so I stay for about 30 minutes and that seems to help him most days but not all days. I do like the teachers and the other children in his class.they are very sweet.I love the open door policy and the cameras that you can watch.now there are a couple of issues that I would say that they do have.their playground should not have any wood chips especially at this center since it's for babies.I know three-year-olds who still put stuff in their mouth so I just think it's unsafe and with the 3 to 1 ratio it's not possible to keep your eyes on every child.they definitely need a lot more training on how to deal with a child like mine. has very severe separation anxiety.they tend to just leave him and let him cry a lot.I'm able to work from home so I can watch all day.now granted his first day he didn't want anything to do with them and they did try the first day but it seems like after that They just kind of left him alone to do what he wants and cry.another problem is my son came home one day with a piece of wrapper in his mouth from school most likely came from snacktime and the other issue is my son wound up with a blackeye one day and of course it was one of the days that he was screaming his head off all day and no one went to check on him no one tried to help him cope or anything so when I pick him up I saw the black eye. I asked how it happened they don't know how it happened.now I'm sure he would've screamed his head off from that but they wouldn't have known because they didn't check on him or trying to comfort him periodically I understand They can't Comfort just one child the entire time but I would expect them to check on a child periodically and try to help him to calm down and I do expect him to have bumps and bruises he gets them all the time at home but I would expect someone to have checked on him try and comfort him or at least to know what happened still not sure if we're going to continue we're probably going to get a couple more months and see if things improve or not if not he probably will not be staying I do not Think badly of the place or the teachers.the teachers are always very nice.I do know that there is one that was substituting one day for one of the other teachers in his class who made sure to tell me when I picked him up the day he got the black eye he was crying a lot with a emphasis on a lot which trust me I know he does this at home he screams all day at times but I think they do need to better understand and have more training on how to deal with children with severe separation anxiety.all in all I would still recommend them depending on the child if the child is not used to being watched by anyone else and is only going part time I don't think I would recommend them just on my own personal experience and like I said there are days where they do help him cope and he calms down fast and there are days when They just kind of leave him alone to cry.I did speak with the lady in the office almost a month ago I believe and things did get better but things seem to be slipping again as far as him being ignored almost

We went to Mathnasium about three weeks ago. My daughter took their assessment to see where she…read moreneeded help in math. Well, three weeks later and no call, no contact, no nothing. This place was highly recommended, but if I can't trust them to call me back with some information on how they are going to help my daughter, how can I trust them to actually tutor her? I made repeated calls in the last three weeks, and twice someone said they'd have someone call me back, but I didn't get any calls back. I left my name and number several times, and it's on the form I filled out there. I just called today, and I got no answer and no voicemail. I am so disappointed.

Upon meeting her she assessed my child and provided a start date that would work for everybody. Ms. Jenny advised me that if she didn't think he was ready she would not have taken my money but would have allowed him more time for development but to return; which confirmed her great character. I have reviewed the other comments to include the subjective/negative reviews. I must say everyone is entitled to feel/believe their own thoughts. The negative comments appear to be unfair, emotionally dysregulated and biased making the opinions more SUBJECTIVE than OBJECTIVE. Ms. Jenny is the only one in the center supervising who is attentive to children & teenagers of ALL different AGE brackets, as she has only a few young assistants who help her when they are available. Ms. Jenny is fair, firm and consistent who takes her job very 'seriously' while committing to ensuring the children are learning and grasping the information but holding them accountable; rightfully so, when necessary. I (as a Parent) have witnessed myself quite a few kids being lazy, having multiple attitudes, talking back to Ms. Jenny, displaying no desire in being there at the mercy of their parents choice (not Ms. Jenny forcing them to be there, to set the record straight). With Ms. Jenny's assistance to my child; upon, being assessed prior to admission of a private school, tested higher placing him in Advanced Kindergarten. Though he is currently in Kindergarten he is doing 1st grade and some 2nd grade work. There is another family I personally know who has two sons who are both excelling in 2 grade levels above their current grade but that Mother, like myself stays on her children also. Another 5/6 year old little girl is 2-3 grade levels above her current grade as well. The parents and children complaining unfairly about Ms. Jenny expect to pay an amount and think she is to perform a miracle over night to a child who has a parent who is not taking an equal vested interest themselves, checking on their child and not holding their own child accountable. Ms. Jenny is not there to pacify, babysit, provide hugs and kisses, pats on the heads and bandaids for emotional issues. However, Ms. Jenny does award, reward & acknowledge the ones who have improved, diligently committed and stayed the course. When it comes to the possible success of a child it would appear as such: The possible responsibilities are as follows in percentage breakdowns: Parent 35%, Child 25%, School/Educators 15%, Environment 12.5%, Ms. Jenny 6.25% & miscellaneous still governed by Parent 6.25%. Meaning everything plays a role in a Childs development but the higher percentage falls on the 'Parent' therefore blaming Ms. Jenny who plays a small role is unacceptable, misplacing liability with the parent & child projecting their irresponsibilities on their own shortcomings. Ms. Jenny being of Asiatic decent, her English dialect is a mixture of her native tongue. I; as a Parent, have a major role in my Childs education and hold myself and him responsible so he seems to be doing quite well for what it's worth. If you're not sure of your Child's mental status I recommend getting them professionally ‍assessed prior to being in denial and thinking Ms. Jenny Z should fix/heal an issue you may be nonplussed about. Let her know what your child is dealing with, so she may provide a reasonable service. Don't believe everything you read! Ms. Jenny is not for the faint at heart or thin skinned individuals who are easily offended. As in life and with everyone around us either you will get with the program and elevate or fall off the wagon by the wayside, setting your children up for failure ‍ to a world that is not so kind!!!! With only a few months remaining in his school year we started kumon with Miss Lan Ye and Miss Karen. It has been incredible the progress he has made. His reading and sight word recognition improved dramatically. He has now progressed to first grade and is reading at an exemplary level. In addition he is now taking math and has quickly mastered addition problem solving. Their program has been just what we needed to get our son off to the right start! Thank you Lan Ye!

We are still really new to Kumon, but so far he is interested in learning and he has been excited to go. I will update my post in a month with his progress.
