prom/corsage - I received an order not in accordance with what I wanted. I brought in a picture. colors were off. make sure you read what on your order. the receipt was emailed so I didn't pay attention. in these times money must be well spent. letting businesses get away with your unhappiness is not normal should it be an option. I went back after I picked up my order and they said have a good day. No how can we fix it, nothing. the thing is ... there are so many florists that do make it right. I don't need to patronize businesses that won't make it right. I have 3 grandsons, that's was my middle grand. There are so many opportunities for people to do the right thing. I hope people read this and strongly consider the fact I wasn't asking for a refund, only to review the fact that the order didn't match the prom attire. matter of fact, thank you for not getting it right. Four days before my brothers funeral I realized i had never ordered any flowers for the service - I was sure that I was too late and nobody could accommodate me on such a tight timeline, but st. Johns was able to! On very little notice, I was able to order 3 beautiful floral arrangements and even added in the comments asking if they could sprinkle blue flowers into the white flowers for his favorite color and they honored that request, which was really nice of them. Delivery went off without a hitch which was nice. I am so grateful they were able to help on such short notice because to be honest the floral arrangements made the ceremony. Lilia, Sam, Marcus and countless others have been nothing short of amazing each time I've needed some fresh flowers or special arrangements. Being market style you can go right into the fridge yourself and choose anything you like, even just one single flower. They always have the freshest roses, carnations, tulips and countless other types. I tend to come in once a week or so just to grab some little flower guys for a few small bud vases I have around my apartment but I LOVE to have them to make me a full arrangement every once and a while... they have never disappointed me. Most recently I had a little surgery and wanted to buy a special arrangement for myself. Lilia did a fantastic job coming up with just the most perfect bouquet to make me feel better. This little shop at the intersection of St Johns and Herschel is a hidden gem. I walked in and asked for a corsage for a six year old on short notice and they totally delivered based on my description of her dress and her size. They were able to craft a corsage that would fit a smaller wrist. The corsage actually has a slap bracelet as opposed to string or lace, such a fun addition for a kid. read more

Ordered some flowers on December 13th and was charged over 200 dollars. Just for the day of pickup (January 2nd) to be told they do not have them. It was an engagement and was very important I had those flowers. Even followed up to switch the pickup time and it was confirmed. Really disappointed in this place as it was recommended. But most likely will never order from here again as this seemed very unorganized. Truly disappointing experience. Edited: After having this incident the owner actually got in contact with me and thoroughly apologized. And they ended up actually managed to find my order somewhere and fulfilled it and gave me my full refund. I recently ordered a corsage & boutonniere here &I must say their shop is so cute & tiny. I honestly didn't know what I wanted so I showed her my dress and she made some suggestions of what would best match with it. I also got to choose the color I wanted the ribbon to be and to also match the boutonniere with the corsage, so the whole process was super easy! The prices for both the corsage and boutonniere were quite reasonable depending on what you add onto it or not. I will return back there on the day of prom so an update will come soon! Update: i picked up the flower and oh my gosh it ended up looking gorgeous, it was beautiful work, but the only thing was they ran out of bow for the boutonniere and they did not refund me the money, only to say that "oh that was our price anyways" but it was no biggie since it was only a couple of bucks. I live in southern California, and we had a co-worker who's father had just passed away in Jax, and we needed flowers sent to the ceremony that day. I called SJ Flower Market at about 415 pm east coast time on a Saturday, 45 minutes before they were closing. Katrina was very sympathetic to my plea, and proceeded to call her driver to see if they could push a little late to send one more delivery out.
