Both our children attended children's Montessori form ages 1.5 -4. We had a wonderful experience. I always felt like they were safe and well cared for. They also both left the center very well prepared for school, both academically and socially. Children Montessori helped make potty training so easy for our family. When I first began looking for a Montessori/child care center for my 18-month-old son, I wanted more than just a place for him to learn -- I wanted somewhere he would be truly cared for and loved. My older sister's son had attended this school years ago (under previous management) and had a wonderful experience, so it was already on my radar. I reached out and spoke with Mrs. Dima (owner). During our first call, I had to hang up quickly because my son needed me. To my surprise and relief, Mrs. Dima followed up with me -- and I'm so glad she did. Finding reliable care was something I had been struggling with, and her call made all the difference. She explained that she and her mother-in-law were now the new owners, but some of the original staff remained -- including Teacher Jeremiah, who had taught my nephew. That instantly gave me a sense of comfort and familiarity. When I toured the school, I learned that Mrs. Dima's own son attended as well -- and that my son would be in the same group. Knowing she would be present eased so much of my anxiety. The first week was a tough transition for my little one (as expected), but the teachers and staff were incredibly patient and caring. I received daily updates, both in person from his teachers and through thoughtful text messages from Mrs. Dima (owner). The school also uses a parent portal that shares updates and photos -- such a wonderful way to feel connected throughout the day. The activities are creative and engaging for the children, and they even involve parents in fun ways. Recently, the school began offering lunch, which has been a huge help for me as a working parent. I'm also grateful for how supportive the team has been with my son's speech delay -- his therapist visits the school, and the teachers work closely with her to help him make progress. This school has made my first-time mom nerves settle so much. My son is happy, learning, and building relationships -- and we feel part of a caring community. My son started at this daycare about 3 weeks ago. He's 1 and in the busy bee's class with all of the infants and toddlers and I cannot express the amount of gratefulness I have for this center. My son is had profound hearing loss on both ears and that hasn't stopped them from being so kind and willing to help him learn. When I drop him off they ask me questions about his night to better understand how his day will be, and when I pick him up they inform me of his nap time schedule, what he ate, and how his overall day was which I appreciate so much. They made it really easy to transition from being a stay at home mom to now having to leave my baby. They also send pictures and updates through an app throughout the day which is also something I love! They do have a lunch program which is very convenient for working parents who don't have time to always pack food. I have also been noticing my child's development evolve since he's enrolled in this center. We are so blessed our baby was able to attend Children's Montessori Center while we lived here! It was his first daycare so we were pretty apprehensive being first-time parents, but the teachers were so kind and caring and were always always so receptive to feedback as they truly took time to learn each child. We were truly blessed to have Miss Dima as the new Director and the school did a lot of creative things to have fun activities, even for infants. The school was always great with communication and would let us know how each day was with thorough log keeping and occasional photos of the kiddos The price was also really reasonable compared to many expensive daycares nearby. My son is 5 months old and just started earlier this month. So far we've had a great experience. He gets to go on walks and the teachers were great navigating his sudden bottle aversion on week one. When my son turned 2, I toured many pre-schools and the moment I walked into CMC, I knew right away that this is the school for my son. My son is now 6 and he just graduated from CMC. I am so glad we picked this school because both my son and I LOVE this school. This school is well structured and organized. All the teachers are very nice, caring, responsible and patient. I love the diversity of this school and my son learned a lot and he also had a lot of fun. He learned skills that i would not expect him to learn at this age. Some of the annual events includes: beach day, water days, egg hunt at the park, trick or treat around the block, pajamas day, picnics, chinese new year party, cinco de mayo party, Christmas performance and more. They also offer classes such as science, chinese, spanish, jiu jitsu, tap dance, yoga, art and music. The kindergarten program is AMAZING!!! I highly recommend all kindergarteners to sign up!! Words cannot express how grateful i am for All that my son learned in this class. Besides what he learned academically, he excelled socially and he also learned about money and how to ride a 2 wheeled bike and hula hoops. They had a graduation party with the class at Disneyland and a graduation ceremony at the school. I feel that these are the most important years of a child's life and i feel that all the teacher made a great impact to my son's life. This center is beautifully run by Cindy and her team. There was zero pressure to sign my child up and total flexibility to meet our start date needs. Each season is celebrated with gorgeous decor, the building and outdoor areas are spacious. Teacher Sylvia is so loving with the kids and helps them to navigate their emotions. My husband and I can't speak highly enough about this school and their teachers. Both my children went here for many years, my son starting at 5.5 months old and my daughter staying until she was ready for kinder. CMC prepared her for kinder with her letters, numbers, shapes, colors and even letter sounds and some sight words being learned prior to her starting at her new school. My kids wouldn't want to leave when it was time to pick them up.... they wanted to stay for more story time or stay and do more puzzles. They loved the outside time in the school yard and made so many great friends while there. During summer, they have a bounce house or water toys that make it so much fun.... my kids would get super excited for those days! The teachers really love the kids and my kids became attached to their teachers (hugs were given before leaving most days) and I fully trusted them with my babies. If you are looking for a place that you can place your kiddos and feel reassured that they are loved, learning, and growing,..... you've chosen the right place. Call them up! Overall, the school and staff are great. They seem caring and competent. Facility is average for cleanliness and safety. Curriculum and activities are better than most. My two stars is primarily for Cindy, the school's Director. She was rude, unhelpful, uncooperative, and unwilling to answer my 100 questions as I was trying to enroll my daughter and understand if the school will fit her needs. Cindy made the entire process a pain. However, after having to deal with Cindy, my daughter is enrolled. I'm currently searching for a better school that is operated and managed in a more professional manner. read more

I never thought that searching for a daycare could be so hard. It is not like you call up a place and they have space available for you. A lot of places that we called they are all booked and people are on waiting list because per State regulations, it is 1 adult per every 4 infants and many places they only allow no more than 8 infants. Of course, I found out the hard way after giving birth to my daughter at the beginning of this year. My mother was suppose to take care of my daughter, but long story short, she was not able to last minute. Hubby and I was losing hope trying to find a place. Luckily, we were referred to this place by my hubby's cousin whose daughter came here when she was in her infant years. I called them up and spoke with Cindy (the Director). She was very nice over the phone and we scheduled to come in for a tour of the place. We were introduced to teacher Sandy who was also very nice. The place is located behind a church, but is not part of the church. First time that we were there, it was the children's nap time and they were all in their little cribs with their blankies. Teacher Sandy suggested that if we want we can come back the following day to spend some time and see how the children are and whether or not it is a place I would want my baby to attend which I thought was a good idea. Came back the next day and had no complaints. My daughter has been attending this place since she was a little over 2 months old and she will be turning 7 months in August. How time flies! I can tell that she absolutely adores all the teachers there. This facility accepts infants as young as 2 months. The drop-off and pick-up time for infants are from 7:30am-4:30pm. I am not sure about the toddlers' schedules. I know pick-up time is early for most parents because some of them don't get off until 5:00-5:30, however, this place is good if you are a teacher or have flexible working hours. If you are an expectant parent and thinking about daycare you should give this place a call. read more

I am sad to write this, but it is the truth. One of the bad experience I've ever had, was sending my 3 years old son to this daycare. He was there only for 5 months, but still too much. First I am going to start with director Cindy. She is the most self-center person. She is listening to you and looking to your eyes, but at the end she do whatever she thinks is best! My son is bilingual and at that time he just undrestand English but not speaking, however he spoke the other language very good. Cindy after a week told us that this kid does not talk at all. So what?! We knew because he did not know how to talk in English. I was not worry at all but he made us to be worry. She forced us to meet school district expert people in order to found out if my son has like authism or something. Imagine in what hell I lived those days. We met the experts and they confirmed that my son has no problem and only passing time hegradually use to talk in Eng. But Cindy insisted in her ideas and later she said why he repeated words. Ofcoursr kids repeating in order to learn! Cindy is the owner since 35 years ago with the old those days methods. She served lunch at 10:30! Who can eat lunch at 10:30 when had breakfast at 8? Beleive me once I arrived there at 10:45 and they already finishing lunch and sitting in front of TV in order to get sleepy at 12. They forcec kids to watch TV for more than 1 hour. Talking about lunch, they get food from Smart & Final across the street. Fresh or freez, i do not know but I know they all have preservative. These kind of food are not healthy for kids. I am not sure why they still carry the name of Montessory. Montessorry has methods that if you follow them, then you can have this name. No education at all in this daycare. I saw it every day that they prepare a pice of paper with a letrer on it. For example a shape of a dog with letter D. When kids arrive in the morning, they sit around a table, color the dog and thats it. Only education was that. I asked them several times help my son hold the pen correctly. They never even listen. They had a sandbox, sand area, big enough for like 10 kids on it. In the hot afternoo in May and June, kids are in sand area. How long in sand? A decipline? A rule? A time frame? The only person that gave me a little bit calm, was teacher Jeramiah. He was a nice person with knoweledge. He was positive. I wish him success. Thats it mumys. Good luck read more

First time writing a review on Yelp :) My children and I LOVE this place! And I'm very thankful that I found them and send my kids here. I was rushing to find a preschool and kindergarten for my kids after I was very disappointed at the public school and another cooperate preschool. After researching and visiting 30+ school in SG area, I knew CMC is the one best for my kids. We love the teachers here, loving, caring, attentive, listens to the children's needs, and great communication with the parents. My child learn so much from here, academic, Chinese language, sports, social skills, creativity, manners, independence, the list is endless! My son learned to bike 2 wheel bike and swim at age 5 and I didn't teach him a thing! My 3 year old daughter loves learning Chinese, reading, writing, and gymnastics/dancing. She's been dancing (her style of) ballet daily :D We really don't want to leave here but we have to move and my son is going into 1st grade. I recommend this school to EVERYONE! My two-year-old son has just enrolled at this school for two months. I'm not sure how I should rate this school in general, but thus far I've seen continuous improvement of my son's language and social skills. The school also seems to have adequate daily curriculum and weekly events. The director and staff are friendly and attentive. The only complaint I have would be the lunch program and the tidiness of the facility. I just think that the menu could be improved by incorperating more healthy food items into the menu. I understand that there are many kids at the facility and it can get messy at times, but sometimes when I go pick up my son the outdoor playround and dining areas seem to be in a mess. However, my son is always clean when I pick him up; I know staff took good care of him. I have yet to see how my son progress in learning and behaving. I hope to see more positive reviews of this school on here by the time I come back to revise my review. Update: My son finished the Preschool program this year in summer and went on to Kinder. I have to say that this school offers very competitive academic curriculum to get my son very ready for Kinder. However, I think that the Principal and some staff members are not loving and caring enough. Good thing (and could be bad thing) is that parents volunteering is not required. read more

Water play and jumper during summer time, CNY event, egg hunt, Halloween party, Christmas party...etc, believe me, your kids will NEVER get boring in this school lol!! We know good teachers are not easy to find....My son comes home everyday and keep telling me how much fun he has in school. I had my son here for a couple of years. I am not happy with this school/daycare. If i could, I would of switched him ASAP. The staff seems to lack disciplining the children. Kids are always out of control when I pick him up. one time they had "water day" they have water rides.. and he had on same wet clothes all day. they didn't even bother changing him. I picked him up with slightly wet clothes. He is always starving when I pick him up. Now he started kindergarten at normal public school and me and my fiancee noticed huge difference in hes behavior!! night and day!! hes more focused.. more polite.. more manners.. we realized and confirmed it was this school.. do not recommend this daycare. read more

DONT SEND YOUR KID HERE!!! Don't do it my daughter was here at 3 years old and was so excited to go to school here until the AWFUL teacher Mrs Suzanne would verbally abuse her telling her she was doing her numbers or letters WRONG yet at 3-4 years old she would come home apologizing and crying about it and was so TRAUMATIZED that even a month after taking her out of the school she would Write the number 4 all over a piece of paper non stop for MONTHS cause she was so traumatized. My daughter was sick one day and told me how she was coughing during NAP time and the teacher told her to go OUTSIDE by herself and get out of her cubby I was livid so I spoke to the director and she said they were "watching her from the window ". After my daughter left she would tell me more things like how she was put in time out for accidentally going in the wrong direction and was scared she would get in trouble so never told me. awful school, when my daughter cried when I left which she started to do more and more which was a sign to leave Mrs. Suzanne never comforted her and told her to do her work at 3-4 years old. Trust me they don't comfort and care for your kid here, I also heard The teacher tell a 3 year old she was going to kick her out of the class room for singing a song right in front of me. My daughter was here for 6 weeks and was a traumatizing experience for her and me and my husband deal with the guilt all the time. My daughter has been in day cares/schools since she was born it was definitely this awful school. If you truly care about the well being of your child don't send them here, if you're looking for someone to just watch your kid and keep them alive sure. read more

I love this school. My son enrolled at the tender age of 10 months and left at 2. We had to change schools as we moved to OC. There are so many things that I appreciate about this school. First of all, Cindy/Director/Owner is fully hands on and has a firm hand/control of the school. The teachers are great! Sandy is wonderful in the infant room. Letty is fantastic in the baby/toddler room, my son fell in love with her and would ask for her constantly. Jeremiah is awesome! My son was potty trained within 2 weeks with Jeremiah! My son started to talk by 12 months. Learned his colors, numbers, shapes and engaged in conversations by the time we left. Thank you Cindy for taking care of my baby.
