I'm sorry I meant to say ablation. I had quite a few ablations at your office over a period of probably 3 to maybe 4 years, Covid occurred and slowed up treatment. I got to know your office, your wonderful employees and some of your opinions quite well. In the time that I took to write a response to you. I spoke with a few friends, who had terrible varicose veins, and had come to see you. Do you know they had less work done than I did! Me a person who had no varicose veins, but far superior insurance to my friends. That blows my mind. They were a little surprised about much work you had done on someone who just wanted to get rid of spider veins. Now you mention ulterior motive, I guess I do have an ulterior motive and that ulterior motive is I DO NOT want anybody else to get ablation work done without knowing that there are sometimes negative results. Do you research and dig deep, a lot of the online information is not always up-to-date...Get a few opinions. Had I known that my desire to get rid of spider veins may result in foot issues or circulatory issues later I never would've done this. Or allowed as many oblations as were done. When I published this post, and I meant to take out the information about your tacky political commercials, my mistake, I apologize but you're a Doctor! you took a Hippocratic oath to do no harm, as was your slogan ...real turn off. I like my Doctors a display empathy and do no harm, Medical Professionals should enrich their communities not ride the current bandwagon of harm politics. read more

I do NOT recommend this Vein center at all !!! My veins didn't go away at all, when I told them about it and tried to make a reappointment, they said that it would be $100 and when I arrived for my reappointment they said that I had a lot of things left and I should pay them $300 because that since that day they have all risen in price! read more

I don't understand the negative reviews because I have never been treated with anything but respect in this office. Please don't give this facility your money... IT IS A SCAM!!!! First, they charge almost $400 to complete a scan/ultrasound and consultation. Then they tell you they can't really help you as you may end up having blood clots if you complete the procedure. Then I request the scans and doctor notes but they charge again for those items. I paid you almost $400 and I can't get a scan or doctor's notes?! Where is the patient portal? Even sadder, we are all recovering from a pandemic but this company finds a way to rape you of more of your hard-earned money!! TRAGIC!!! I have underlying issues where I am prone to getting blood clots. So they knew before they scheduled the scans that they were just going to make me pay almost $400 to tell me NO! This place pretty much gave me my life back. From 2015-2019 I was living with a grossly swollen left leg. Most doctors I went to had no clue what to do or what it was. They were playing guessing games with me all the while my leg got bigger and more painful. I went from 138 to 150 pounds and it was all in one leg. It became a nightmare to walk around and I was put on a water pill and that barely touched it. I would walk and my foot would jiggle. I could not even put my left foot into a shoe. My orthopedic dr said I had Lymphoedema and my podiatrist said I had osteoarthritis (which I did have but in both feet yet the left one only swelled). Well Dr Cunningham found I had something called May-Thurner syndrome and stented my left iliac vein. It was like night and day. The photo I posted was the second day after surgery and with no diuretics in my system. My left leg gets smaller every day. The only thing I have to take now is my medication for my arthritis. I'm very pleased with his fast assessment and attention to detail in my case and how without wasting time he treated the problem successfully and now I can take my life back that I've been missing for the past 3 years. read more

This advertisement says St Johns Vein Center is the only vein center in Jacksonville. You can see their rating is not what you'd want in a doctor. In Jacksonville, there is also ELLISON VEIN INSTITUTE! I highly recommend them! 5 Stars all the way! The staff are amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. I had problems in both legs where the direction of the vein went the wrong way (should be flowing up but it was flowing down). I also had a bulbous varicose vein. Both of these problems were worked on and now months later I have more energy and I don't have to be concerned about shaving my legs. I can't recommend ELLISON VEIN INSTITUTE enough!!! read more

the secretaries laughed when I tried to make an appointment just because I did not understand what they said to me very bad service

I went to this center for vein procedures. I was given 2 procedures by the doctor (St. George). While doing the procedure, he and his assistant talked about their Christmas party, not even acknowledging I was there. It was like I was just another number, although when I had my first consultation, everyone was very attentive, even the doctor. A couple of months later, I was in the emergency room with blood clots in both legs; one blood clot was 10 inches long. I contacted Dr. St. George and returned to his office to talk to him. He vehemently denied anything went wrong and asked for my records from the emergency room. I refused and a nurse literally chased me out of the office to my car, where my husband was waiting for me. I was on coumadin for 6 months, including self-injections of heparin. This center is the biggest joke in the world. The only thing that they care about is money, as you can see how many centers are here in Jacksonville area. He ruined my life for many months and did not have the decency to admit his lack of compassion, professionalism, ethics, and ability to complete the procedures correctly. My rating is below zero and I continue to tell everyone that even suggests going to see Dr. St. George to consider another institution, instead of a hack job butcher shop. read more

My wife and i arrived at scheduled time. When we walked in the receptionist immediately requested a copay. While sitting down to do paperwork a staff member approached and told me that we xould not be seen because the nurse practitioner was bz with surgery. We rushes 2 ger to office on time then they took the copay to then tell me we could not be seen. I took time off from work and deove through horrible traffic to be told the nurse practitioner could not be there. Why didnt they have the courtesy to call me prior 2 the visit. It is a major incovenience. Moreover an office manager approached me with a lame excuse that i had to fill out paperwork anyway. I told her that has nothing to do with my schedule appointment and that coming 2 office 2 fill out paperwork on scheduled appt time is not a reason to schedule an appt. We were there for a treatment. I even received several calls 2 confirm the appt only to be told when we got there that we could not be seen. Also. They did not seem to care. Would not recommend unless you like making appointments and not receiving any courtesy calls prior 2 the appt to be told we could not be seen. Missed a day of work, time traveling there and rude uncaring staff. read more
