People, young and the young-at-heart, gather there to celebrate The Eucharist daily, not just on weekends. A special Novena Mass for Our Lady of Perpetual Help is celebrated in the evening of every first Wednesday of each month where special prayers to Our Lady are said for the family and the community, especially the sick, the dying, the elderly, and the unborn. My family attends this Mass because we do pray for those who cannot pray for themselves. The vibrance of this diverse Catholic community is manifested in the variety of ministries in this parish: Knights of Columbus, Social Concerns, Respect Life, Music Ministry, Italian Catholic Federation, Spanish Ministry, Filipino Ministry, Altar Servers, Ushers, etc. This is laity power and you can join any ministry where you are called to serve! My family serves in the Music Ministry and two of my daughters serve at the altar as well. Ministries make the church move and engaged in the community. Fr George, the Pastor of this 2000-family-strong parish, gets his much needed help from the laity. Holy Relics are often exhibited on days leading up to and trailing All Saints Day. Relics show that saints were real people who devoted their lives to God and His Church. The most intense one is the relic of The Holy Cross. That got me kneeling before it since I first saw it. Fr George will take you around the exhibit to talk about the relics, too! The "tour" is immersive and it takes you back to Church history. Some Holy Relics are also displayed on specific Church days, like the feast days of saints. Child Faith Formation moved from classroom-based to parental instruction last year, with the Director of Faith Formation meeting the families once a month. This is not just a great way to teach my children the Catholic faith, but it is also a great way to catechize myself. This is empowering. Vacation Bible School is the much anticipated event for kids during the summer days! My kids learn more about the Catholic faith as they have fun under the sun with kids their age. Last year, a couple of my kids moved up to be crew members. There is a new VBS theme every year and the songs are always catchy that we play them in the car. Church office staff personnel are courteous, professional, and always there ready to help you when the office is open. Office is closed on Wednesdays and public holidays. I…read morerecently moved to the area and went to several churches in the area which simply did not sit right with me in word or atmosphere. I went to a coffee shop at the Fountains working while I sat outside. My attention was peaked when I overheard two woman nearby speaking about thier faith and I resonated with what they were saying so much that I had to ask them what church they went to as I was currently looking for a new home church. They happily invited me to sit down with them and get to know them briefly as they told me about their church. Then I tried their church at Bayside Adventure. I didn't tell them I was going as I didn't want special expectedness. I went wanting to see the real people involved at Bayside & I was genuinely, tentatively impressed with such a warm, compassionate filled presence. I love that I'm not attending a rock concert in the dark! I love that the pastoral team actively encourages you week to week to follow along in your own Bible, not just expecting you to passively listen to them. I will say, you receive what you put out, if you want to get connected- connections are easily made. If you want to keep to yourself, no intrusion is put upon you. Ive been attending, skipped a couple weeks and each time returning to happy faces that genuinely seem happy to see me and continue to be welcoming. I highly recommend this church, the children's ministry is a huge part of this church too, welcoming families, singles, empty nesters, seniors, men, and women. I would easily say there's something for everyone.

The last few days have hit us conservatives hard, been quite emotional and hopeful for God to heal…read moremy heart - so I visited Bayside church on Sunday in hopes of getting the support and prayers. That did not happen: Bayside leaders messed up big time - they did not say a prayer for Charlie Kirk's family or at least have a moment of silence to honor his memory - I left sad and heartbroken... My friends said even Catholic Churches recognized Charlie. Bayside worship leader and pastor did nothing to honor a great Christian who was martyred - I watched the memorial service on YouTube and was so touched... I haven't been to church for awhile, so the visit was truly disappointing- from worship being a performance (overly loud music, lights and video on side screens focused on drummer, etc), this was clearly not about Jesus. Too many inconsistencies in pastor's message, from saying there's true evil in this world and then saying that it's also in all of our hearts: speak for yourself dude... Pastor even joked that he was giving a Ted talk - yeah, it felt like rehearsed speech that he's getting paid for, I didn't trust his words like I believed Charlie Kirk; being a young man trying to find God - I was quite disappointed, didn't feel like this church cares about me.. At one point the pastor said that we're all selfish and our circle of friends are people who like us: does he want us to surround ourselves with people who hate us? Besides few welcoming faces at the entrance- no one came up to chat or cared enough to pray for me. I won't be back and can't recommend this church. I'm sure some churches actually practice what they preach- but not bayside leaders - they are woke liberals, as I'm sure many members are here... From 2005-2020, I served/volunteered and donated a lot of time and $$ to Bayside - no pastor ever recognized my service and donations(even Ray Johnston or Kurt Harlow whom I met) and I came to realize that this liberal mega-church business model is focused on raising $$, not care about people - it's truly a disappointing and heartbreaking experience. This is a liturgical church, so it might take awhile to get used to. But a lot of the liturgy is SUNG by the congregation - and these people SING! Really awesome! 3. They have a small, but very good choir. 4. Short, but excellent and meaningful sermon by the pastor. 5. The church has Sunday School for the kids, and VBS during the summer. 6. The coffee hour was warm and friendly. People tend to sit at the round tables, but several people made the effort to stop by our table to chat with us - including the pastor! 7. Yes, they have a rainbow flag banner out front, but there was no other political messaging that I noticed either time I attended (we were in Auburn for a few weeks).

The Saturday services time is at 5 pm. Worship time is amazing especially when Dylan sings; his voice is beautiful . All the pastors are great; pastor Rodney, Lance, Brian and Heather and Judah all give wonderful sermons. The other pastors too give and deliver amazing messages. Easter service is my favorite; quick tip; come To Easter service early because the place fills up super fast. The members of this church are all so happy; it's easy to feel their energy and enthusiasm. Bridgeway also offers a variety of classes, conducts baptisms and has fun events too like Trick or Trunk night for Halloween. Come to this church; you won't regret it, you'll love it!!
